New Delhi Station Waiting Room

Nice New Delhi Railways Station. Not dirty and it is well prepared and everything is organised. But there is only one washroom which is always full.

In platform 1 there is a AC waiting room. You can stay there with very nominal cost (10/- per hour). Inside LED display, charging facilities, clean washroom are there. Food facilities also Inside, which is your own cost. I stayed there for 5 hours at rupees 50 only.

Waiting A/c yard is not clean and people are very cooperative. Guiding is not up to expetation.

If you have a lot of time to board your train, then I would really suggest to go to the New Delhi station waitinglounge. It cost only Rs. 10 per hour but it is totally worth it, it is not too crowded and there are a lot of eating options available as well inside. It is really well managed, and it is not really overcrowded as well. It is on platform number one but, if you have the train arriving on platform 8 to 16 then I would suggest to leave early as early as 20 to 25 minutes because it takes a lot of time from platform one to other platforms.

I had ordered a veg burger at 11: 48pm the vendor picked it from the back rather than from the front shelf.

As standard microwave time is 10-15 seconds but he did additionally one more time so I won't get the taste of growing microbes.

The base is totally soggy. The bread was stretched and it was forming slimy lines with sauce.

The same has been conveyed to the vendor. The usual response I got "We get it like this from bakery". Rather than offering replacement or trying to know where they are failing. That's the response I received. The bill was also not provided for the same.

Also there's mosquitos inside the lounge and foul smell.

Very nice place with ac to wait train nominally charged.
Needed sitting cusions on sitting cairs must be more soft.
Staff good. Food stuff and prices very economical.

New Delhi railway station platform no 16, one of the busiest platform, it includes cloakroom, food court, etc

In this dormitory only beds are available. I booked it in IRCTC app.cost around 200rupees per bed per 8 hours.don't expect hygienic in here

The place charges rs 10 per hr per head despite of the AC tkt. They serve very bad tea. Place is crowded but there was enough sitting place. Didn’t visit the toilet as they very already stinking bad. There were TVs n live display boards, which was a good thing. Staff was good n well behaved.

Not great. Even though they are charging you on hourly basis but still neither the place is clean nor the washroom. For some even flush is not working, floor is full of water.

Very good experience in the New Delhi railway station as it has become a better place now especially with the escalators.

They are charging per hour but when I asked them to change the TV channel they told me that only free channels are available.

Too crowded place. Restrooms are good. They charge you Rs. 10 per hour after showing your ticket.

Good space to sit. Quite neat can be neater. People keep luggage on seats which creates space shortage.
Toilets to be more clean in the waiting room.

In summers it is a recommendation due to the air conditioner running inside. But people here sleep on the benches instead of sitting which does not give space to other people to sit. Maybe authority should implement the rule of not sleeping on benches or make sleeper rooms for the people who have long waiting times.

The best place where u can rest at rail stations these kind of lounges are heavenly To me I was in an ac lounge so I can't tell u about non AC one but the experience was great

I think 3 stars rating is much more than the New Delhi Passenger Lounge deserves. The staff continue to issue Tickets to passengers even when there is no seat avaiable. Washroom is ok. Food sold there is tasteless.

Neat and clean area and furnished AC. Food and snacks facility also available. Charge 10rs per person per hour. Need to show valid ticket before entering

Waiting hall is neat and clean but toilets are dirty, smells bad. Need 3-4 more toilets and washroom as there is only one bathroom and two toilets.

I'm working here as a receptionist this waiting room is so safe and good as compares to out side hotels

Everything is ok but at entrance no checking of luggage or person policeman enjoying meal and busy with phone

Clean and well-maintained lounge which can be availed by paying ₹10/hr, equipped with almost every modern facilities with cafeteria to offer snacks.

Outer cover is so good as well as inner side that means platforms of new Delhi railway stations are clean.many counter of tickets reservation, platform tickets counter, and general counters.enquiry counter is separated.each state route from here.many trains running between two state.such as rajdhani express.satabdi express, duranto express.mail.express, superfast express and also local trains are running between two cities.waiting room available, food available.canteen available.

Crowded, but they have nice facilities for us to rest and sit. It was clean, i was impressed by that.

The waiting Room is neatly maintained and can accommodate appx 400 passengers. The waiting area doesn't give feel of upper class waiting room and quite simple ambiance and is quite congested, accomodating large number of passengers in a relatively lesser area.tea /snacks/ refreshments and toilets are available inside the waiting area.

If your train is canceled, don't panic and go to the foreign desk. They will respond.
The new bullet train to Varanasi departs at 6am from here and arrives around 14pm to Varanasi. The platform is No. 16. You need to arrive at the station early, as you will walk more than 10 minutes from the baggage check.
If you have any inconvenience, you should give up on India.

Okay okay experience. First of all it is located on Platform 1. From here the lift is very near by. Secondly they charge 10rs per person per hour. The waiting lounge is very big and can accommodate a lot of people and it is over crowded most of the times and that can be the reason y you won't feel like you are in a ac room. It feels hot like the ac is not working. Food and drinks stall nearby and easily accessible.

Very neat and tidy up, best part, no need to go out once you're in. You can find food/snacks/cold drinks/coffee everything inside

Firstly you will be charged Rs10 per hour. They mention the time on the receipt. You can get meals inside.
In summer you will feel awesome inside.
This place is in Platform no. 1 which is paharganj side.

Not at all good. Even the ladies waiting hall which was meant for ladies but gents are also allowed and sitting over there. Not air conditioned hall. And also the waiting room of 3AC was close so we have to stay over here. Nearby you will get food court.

The place has a ₹10/person/hr charge for the waiting room at Paharganj.
They have an on location service where you can choose from beverages- both hot n cold in addition to fast food items like sandwiches, puffs, samosas and the like.
Also are available packed stuffs like chips, namkeens, nick-nacks for kids.

The bathrooms are well maintained by all-time staff who are supervised diligently.

A reasonable place to wait for an hour in summers as the air conditioning was good and I waited for about 8 hrs. They could have a snack bar or food shop there or just outside.

Newly construct, and construction is going on at Platform no 1.nice place with clean washroom, good sitting area, TVs are working, mobile charging sockets are there, cafe house is also there.
