Sometimes they only allow Maharashtrians and sometimes anyone can go there by showing I'd proof.

Authentic maharashtra flavours. Clean dining area with ample staff at your service. Can be crowded during lunch hours. Large parking space with lush greenery.

Ambience is very good, staff was kind and helpful and overall experience was good. Must try if you want good Maharashtrian food.

I had opportunity to stay here 4 days that too during independence day.
Being Maharashtra government employee, got the suite at discounted price. The rooms are awesome. As good as any 3 star hotel. Service is also very nice.
Even though it is a government property, hospitality is very nice. You may find difficult to reserve room due to rush but if you keep follow up, you definitely get one.
Best part here is the dining. You get almost all Maharashtrian and North Indian items. Both veg and non veg. Prices are reasonable and quality is top.
Even if you are not staying here, you can go inside saying you want to go to the canteen.
If you are Maharashtrian then it makes it very easy to access.
Also it is situated at very nice area. India gate is hardly 5-10 mins walking from there.
If you visit delhi, this is a must try place. Room booking rates etc are available on website.

The security person at Sadana's (Ms. Pathan) back gate on August 19,2023, was unprofessional and rude. She told people to use a different gate, but when asked the way, she made an ugly face and shouted in her regional language. She really needs training to improve her behavior.

The ambience is not less than a 7 star hotel. But they keep changing the restaurant staff. So nowadays food quality and service is not as good as it was earlier. I suggest you not to visit this place for food. The quality of food is not good, shortage of staff is there. So the service is not good. The food presentation is also not good. You have to search for the panner in kadhai paneer.
Running a restaurant is not merely a money making business. It's a social responsibility to serve good and quality food to its guests. It should be run by a person who is passionate about serving the society. Again I am reminding you please don't visit here for the food.

Really upscaled govt property by the Indian government. Important to note that You are allowed inside only if you are working in govt sector. It's a hotel cum resort with a dining restaurant for the guests and also for the walk-ins.

Don't get confused with the old Maharashtra Sadan as there are 2 seperate properties. Also don't follow the canteen on maps, instead follow new Maharashtra Sadan.

Very new and proper parking is available. Loved the property and the morning vibe is really good.

What an Authentic Maharashtra Food
Their Daal and behaviour is both refreshing. Especially their Salad.

One of the best interiors in central Delhi. Restaurant is also good. Not sure about room availability and booking.

The place is great for cultural events. Had our application launch event was quite good. The place has a Royal Touch with all modern facilities.

Food is awesome and ambience as well.
Only thing is that you have to be accompanied by some government personnel

Two months after i visited again. Management has been changed. The staff is polite but the food quality has gone down. Authentic Maharashtrian taste which was previously available is gone. Was served stale jeera rice

It's always give me wonderful tatse when ever I stepped in there food court. What a wonderful food experience I always had. Let me try to explain it in words. There is no such fancy or lavish menu to order from. They have ver simple and decent items in there list from where you can order. And belive me you won't regret. Because when it comes to authentic taste of Maharashtrian food you soul will be satisfied with the flavours and taste you going to get there. I have tried lot of things there like bhujji paao, missle pao, kolapuri chicken and mutton and few more and everything is just amazing. And there ambiance is also good. So all in all you gonna enjoy your meal with your family and friends.

Awesome ambience.entry strictly restricted to outsiders. But inside its a 7 star hotel. Beautiful monumentary attraction with great personalities statues.

New Maharashtra Bhawan is an awesome place to stay in the heart of Delhi at affordable price. Canteen offer authentic food for all visitor (even if you are not staying). Breakfast have more options of pav bhaji, misal pav, Vada pav and so on.in lunch they offer thali and al carte options.dinner is normal northern food.a must try place. However there is scope to improve more on food quality.

Superb place to stay and dine in. Very well maintained and clean and comfortable in all respects. The location is very grand as it at walking distance from India Gate. Building is having historical looks and greenery is well maintained. The food served here is of great taste and quite well in quality both veg and non veg.

A breathtaking & spectacular view in night. The grandeur is just out of the world. Better than any 5 star in the city.

The food was a bit of disappointment as they served exactly same gravy for chicken and mix veg. How can that be?

Maharashtra Sadan is good place to visit at least once. Nice infrastructure and statue of great Marathi people. I used to visit during my stay in delhi mostly for Maharashtra food. The quality of food is average. I find it really disgusting that instead of marathi people they used Bihari people as cook and other working as contract person. They cook rubbish marathi food which is nowhere close to Maharashtra cusin. Due to corrupt practices they never looked into the kitchen quality. Being hardcore marathi it disgust me on food there.

Not pure maharastrian food.but not bad.
Don't order chicken or mutton biryani if it's your favourite food. Disappointed with biryani.

Worst food I ever heard of.
I heard it is good from all of my friends and friends of friend. But personal experience was don't even deserve One star.

A place to feel ethnic maharasthrian feeling though the food is exactly the maharasthrian taste, if you are a marathi you will understand the state.

It's a new sadan with 2 canteens. One is for commoners while mess is for in-house guests.
The canteen is just like a normal college canteen but mess is amazing 4 star hotel like.

Food served is good and. Their pithla is a must try.

Inside room photos. All the MP and MLA's got VIP treatment. Rooms are Big, Spacious have all Facilities like 5 Star Hotel. Newly Built and resembles like a Palace. I have posted only inside Room Photos. This is a Deluxe Room. They have Suit's too!

New Maharashtra Sadan represents Maharashtra state to India Government/Central Government. The building is most beautiful and architecture according to Maharashtra cultural and traditional. Inside, freedom fighters and great personalities from Maharashtra state statues/albams are available. The entry into the building available only for Maharashtra people with proper identify proof. Others may have entry with Maharashtrians. Accommodation available on charagiable basis. Food is good.

Maharashtrain visiting delhi must visit this place. You can good maharashtrian food here at little bit expensive. This place had make headlines some time ago but build amazing.

Went for food. The rooms are allocated only to govt of Maharashtra staff, and not to 'common people' which should not be the case. Or should rename Maharashtra sarakari niwas or something like that.

Delighted to visit Maharashtra Bhawan. Excellent architecture, cleanliness, security and very well maintained. In case you haven't visited, you must go to see the grandeur of Maharashtra.

Not accessible to all citizens. Food quality is between Ok to Good. Open only till 10pm. Ambience of sadan is good.

We went with my friend's friend who work in ministry of housing and urban affairs
. We ate a sumptuous marathi lunch there
. I found the place very beautiful depicting the traditional maratha style statues, arts and culture.
The resident commissioner of maharastra cadre I think lives here.

Food quality is good and service is fast too. Didn’t find Maharashtra thali tasty at all but that’s just subjective opinion. Non veg is nice though. Prices are bit high. Do try Amrakhand and Shrikhand

The Home away from home is nothing but big disappointment. It fails at many level. The only good thing about New Maharashtra sadan is it offers you place to stay at very reasonable price in Delhi. While other services especially food service is an best example of big disappointment.
The canteen at New Maharashtra sadan promises you authentic maharashtrian food but let me assure you the food they offer is non Maharashtrian, it only carries the name of Maharashtrian food. The next disappointment is service in canteen. The staff dosent pay attention to you nor they give damn. The room is grt however room service is the worst I have ever seen. My overall experience of my short stay at New Maharashtra sadan was ok. I will give it 1 out of 5 star.

Loved the place! Best place to visit. Easy access to general public on presenting valid ID card and canteen serves delicious authentic Maharashtrian dishes.

It's a stunning and aesthetic government rest house. Awesome place that represents the culture of the Maharashtra state.

New Maharashtra bhawan! Elegantly to made, Very beautiful place. Asthetics of its are very warm and quite impressive. Rooms are also very well made. VVIPs regulars visits and stays here. And I can say this sadam is the best one in comparison to all other states sadan.

Authentic maharadhtrian food at reasonable prizes in Delhi. Food from all regions of Maharashtra is on their menu. Simolest dish like pithala tasted spot on.

Good experience, but by adding extra chilly powder in every cuisine to make it more spicey and hot doesnt makes it maharashtrian food. This thing should be taken into account. I feel canteen can even apply themes for various types of food culture in maharashtra, so that person coming from the region feels the atmosphere and ambience homely, and not just like another five star hotels.
