The bus driver was Drunk and was driving rashly
The driver also threatened a few passengers to throw out when everyone was complaining,

We all were almost saved a few times by hitting directly into the divider.

Not only behaviour issue this Bus Driver was a scammer from Northern Travels
Below are his scams which made us suffer this journey

Scam 1: The bus stopped once around 1 PM for dinner, where he could have stopped at 10.
But he had a particular amount fixed (Bribe to bring in customer)

Scam 2: Bus Driver was picking passengers from the middle of the trip without any scheduled stop and picking random people.

Scam 3: Bus Driver again stopped at Murthal at a particular dhada and almost everyone saw him collecting money.

Scam 4: Our stop was supposed to be at Kashmiri gate but this driver stopped us in the middle of the road from where auto was charging 100/- rs to goto kashmiri gate and bus driver was asking 50/- from auto driver because he gave them so many customers.

Pathetic Service. We travelled in Bus No. AR06B6011 from Manali to Kashmiri Gate, Delhi. Driver & Conductor both were Bluff Master and cheating passengers. There are many incidents but out of them few are not at all avoidable and should be highlighted.
1. Driver intentionally delayed the departure.
2. It was informed that first stop will be at 10pm for dinner at any dhaba. But first stop was made at 2am at predecided Dhaba by the driver, I hope he must be getting fat commission for his visit to that Dhaba. Due to hunger few passengers were not feeling well and were puking, but was not attended by the driver/conductor.
3. When ill passenger asked for help, Conductor misbehaved with them and threatened them "stop puking otherwise it will not be good for them. "
4. The conductor was much concerned about the bus then the passenger sitting and suffering in that situation.
5. Driver was rash-driving, he should feel responsible for passengers sitting in the bus.
6. AC vents were open, when asked for help conductor again misbehaved.
7. Random pick and drop of local people, for making extra money.
8. Drop was to be at Kashmiri Gate but driver stopped the bus much before that saying this is the last stop and conductor started throwing the luggage of the passengers on road.
9. When we objected that this is not Kashmiri Gate, Driver rudely said this is the last stop and your luggages are kept out, find a auto and go further.
10. From there when we asked for auto, the auto rickshaw driver were asking for more money saying they need to pay commission to the bus driver as he stopped the bus for them.

Will never ever prefer travelling by Northern Travels as they don't value customers (passengers).

Travelled from Shimla to Delhi and was the worst experience in a so called Luxury bus in all of my travels. At Amristar they just started picking up local people waiting for public transport to fill seats and make money. A fight broke out in middle of the night at 1: 30 AM. The bus stinked, seats were dirty to add to the misery. It is highly justified with the reviews they have.

Bluffmaster, cheater. We Booked Bangalore to Goa in make my trip app. Just few hrs before traveling time we received mail stating bus got cancelled. We called the number given in the make my trip voucher. He said due to break failure bus got cancelled. He also convinced us to book another bus. Since we had no option we paid him the re booking cost but later he stopped picking our calls. Be careful do not use this service.

My bus was supposed to arrive at 1: 30 AM and i reached the boarding point around 1 AM. I waited till 2: 30 but the bus didn’t arrive. Meanwhile I tried connecting with every contact number mentioned in the bus information i received from northern travels, but the numbers were not reachable or busy. This is height of careless and ignorant attitude. For a mid night journey there was no means of communication, and no responsibility. This is highly unsafe please do not choose this operator they are highly unreliable.

We took sleeper AC bus to Bangalore from Goa. AC is not working, bus is in worst condition. This type of bus not even allowed to run on the road. They are playing with the safety of passengers. Please sometime the price of tickets are cheap but don't buy the tickets of this travels.

I wish I could give 0 star. NEVER TRAVEL EVEN IN URGENCY. I am still in bus from Goa to Bengaluru. Our AC stopped after 10mins of boarding, we suffocated and driver didn't act on it. Every body yelled and stopped the bus and he opened back door for ventilation but than dust started coming. Even after asking to stop bus for pee break driver kept on running bus for 6hrs straight and had no plans to stop. Very very very poorly maintained bus. 0 care for customers. Very rude driver and staff. This will be my biggest regret.

Pathetic service.
The AC malfunctioned one hour into the journey from Goa to Bangalore. Instead of a proper solution, the driver opened the rear door of the bus and carried on. This caused a lot of dust, smoke and foul smell inside the bus. Added to the list of traumas the bus driver took no rest stops to make up the time. Not even half way and people are getting sick with dust. Regular sneezes and coughing.
Adding to the list of woes:
. The roof hatchet also doesn't work.
. Water bottles were given after 3 hours into the journey after several requests.
. Seats not proper, the foam was wet from inside.
. Rude behavior of the staff.
. Smelly blankets.
. Mismanagement of seats caused ruckus between staff and few passengers

It's a scam. Don't ever book in this travels.
There is no valid contact number of the bus personnel given by the travels
You give your money and then you get stuck coz no one is there to help you.

Don't make the mistake that I made.

Worst service, rude staff, and they drop their passengers at Mohali in the name of Chandigarh.

No blankets provided when other operators give.

When regular bus is on time. Northern bus will be 1 to 2 hours late for no reason.

I booked my ticket from Hyderabad to Bangalore yesterday night but @1am they stoped the bus and told to go back to home. I booked ac bus but there is no ac in the bus.worest bus

All was fine, no water was provided when i asked for one, a used bottle was given this was the only inconvenience i faced.

Pickup is at 11.25pm and they picked me up at 1.30am, i was alone standing at the road and what if something happened to me,
These people do not even have any professionalism and truly brutal, THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER…

Worst service at all never travel with them, unprofessional people and unprofessional service resolve too, they are not bothering to receive calls or also they forget to pick up people from their point, not at all recommended

One of the BIGGEST SCAM in the bus transport industry ever seen. PLEASE DON'T BOOK TICKETS WITH NORTHERN TRAVELS.

I booked a ride from Bangalore to Chennai. I didn't receive the driver's contact or bus details like registration details, live tracking anything. They didn't even call me after 1 hour of the boarding time. I waited on the road till midnight. Meantime I tried to reach them. Nobody picked up the call. Also raised a complaint with Redbus. They also tried to reach. But no luck.

I wasted a lot of time, and money on that travels, and the worst service I've ever gone through.

Can't able to put -5 star.

Travelled from Jalandhar to Manali on 25th December. Driver was fully drunk and driving recklessly. Driver got changed midway but the journey time took 5-6 hours extra because of this.

Very bad experience from Manali to Delhi, no curtain in the bus, all-time honking, and very rough driving, they will ask for extra money for luggage when you onboarding and they stopped there at only one restaurant for food, and that restaurant food is 3 grade and price are very high, they are exploiting customers by charging high prices for there semi-cooked food.

Have booked this bus from Manali to Amritsar. And had a very bad experience with this bus.first of all it delayed by 2 hours and i tried calling driver with the number mentioned in ticket and the driver saying it's wrong number even though it's a correct driver. 8pm bus I got after 10pm. And have selected the seat number 41. But the local agent booked the same seat for another passenger i tried a lot to get my seat but they didn't listen at all later i got another seat, the last seat of the bus and travelled to Amritsar.it was very horrible experience with me.i never book this bus again.and also never recommend this bus to anyone

Worst experience with this agency. Full of rowdism, driver stops the bus after every 5mins, reached destination 5-6hrs late, no seating arrangement followed. Final words please donot travel with this bus and boycott this.

Driver and condutor both rude not waited for 5 minutes and boarded the bus without us 4 people and zero support from office operator

Bus was ok.
But they haven't provided blanket, bed sheet nothing.neither they put any effort to maintain discipline inside bus cabin

Worst experience. Bad behaviour. They will misbehave. They will not stop at good hotels. No stopage for washrooms. Rash driving. Dnt ever take this bus. Bus will leave passengers if you are late for eating. They will not pick up phone for any query. Genuinely speaking dont ever take northern travels.

Bus was perfect. But, timing is worst. I contacted the staff before I came to the stop, they said, they were at bus stop. But after I reached the bus stop at 09: 00 pm, which is correct time, the bus arrived at approximately 09: 45 pm. I travelled with my wife, when we were waiting at RK Ashram Bus stop, she didn't felt comfortable to wait there for such long time, as the place has more Bar and Restaurants there. So, I request and advice the management to instruct the staff to maintain timings otherwise give proper earliest possible arrival of bus.

I booked two tickets from Delhi to Nainital worth 1980 rs.and the driver didn't show up until 90 minutes of us waiting there.
Pathetic service, impunctual, irresponsible and unresponsive behavior. Worst. Do not travel.

Pathetic and worst bus service from Manali to Delhi.they took 16hours to reach delhi, stopped at every corner … we took bus no 0055, the driver and conductor were rude and unprofessional…

While coming from Manali to Chandigarh, the behavior of such poor service #Northern Travels #bus driver was very bad, I will not recommend anyone to travel in this bus so that this does not happen to anyone in future.

They loves to cheat the passenger. Dropping points are as per their comfort. Do not travel with family and ladies during night.

I am on my way to Manali from Delhi and have booked bus from zingbus using redbus portal. It is my first and last experience with both service providers as they have failed to meet customer expectations.
1. Zingbus Volvo bus papers were expired in 2020. Every certification got expired in 2020.2. Zingbus have tied up with Northern buses.
3. The bus I was traveling into got into RTO Custody in Murthal by Police officers.
4. Upon reaching RTO Murthal, there were 2 more zingbus found in custody.
5. They failed to arrange other bus on time and few passengers had to go with some of their own arrangements.
6. I had to wait 7 hours for another bus.
7. Every passenger in my bus is late for their next journey and have to bear extra amount due to sudden changes.
8. The only good thing is that current bus driver is driving fast and trying his best.

Very pathetic bus service.it stops everywhere for picking passengers.it doesn't turn on AC in AC bus.driver drives rashly. Bus was unhygienic and not maintained. Even though every window and doors were closed, it was suffocating because of dust and smoke coming from outside.

Pathetic service! The bus broke down, the driver ran away. The operators were not picking up amy calls. We were on a petrol pump in between nowhere on our own for atleast 7 hours. Only after filing a complaint with Police, we got a bus around 7 am and left for Manali.

Pathetic service! The bus was late one hour and they knew from the starting that the bus is defective but he still took it forward. Reached very very late to kurukshetra and made us wait 2 hours on the stop and made us change the bus. Very disappointed. You should not travel through this.

Travelled Manali to Chandigarh. Worst experience to fill there seats they picked up roadside people they were behaving wrong with women's, throwing and eating food in bus, spitting, speaking so loud whole night. Horrible situation but the staff didn't respond to them they were totally okay as they were able to fill the seats. Spend some more money and travel by luxmi holidays they are much better.

Not on time. They have given the time of 5: 30 Pm and I was on time.but Bus moves around 7: 30, and the staff was misbehaving with passengers regarding seat allotment.totally waste of Money and time both.

Critical: They cancel your ticket anytime stating that the bus is broken and not available. They don't even deserve one star here.

Driver and conducter was very rude. No manners how to talk with passenger.
Sittings was not very much comfortable. Never advise to any one to go with semi sleeper.

I suggest all the lead one of northern travel that please trained your staff how to behave with the passengers. I never seen this type of service provider this was my first and last experience with northern travel. Staff doesn’t have cordination and last passenger has to suffer.punctuality is zero but timing is 8: 15 bus is running in 8: 40.the fare which was told to mee that is 1600 but conducter is charging 1700 this is not a way.i have my own delhi based travel agency i am a traveller but this was my worst experience because first impression last impression please first trained your staff how to behave in what way ther have to answer.it was my reference trip that’s why i suffered.the staff was thinking that al the passenger are goats we have yo drop them accordingly ther stations.i would say truck drivers are best as compared to your staff. Making fun and fool top services they are providing.if we take a cup of tea on road they also behave in good way the cost of that thela is 5000rs it is also much but you are giving services by one crore bus you should think about these concerns this business is for short term one day will be there every one will ignore you

Bus was extremely dirty.
No covid protocols followed.stopped at unhygienic and dirty restaurants for dinner and lunch.

Traveling today to delhi baijnath bus number 0066.the bus 2 hours late. Not provide blenket also. Driver stop the bus in wrost dhaba. Toilet very dirty. They give spoiled food to us. Very poor service. Ur runing a big company of northern travel but sadly there is no standard at all. Never travel again. The best is bedi travel.

Very bakwaas bus service please dont travel in there bus.we travelling manali to delhi the changes 4 times our bus again again in midnight. Very rude behaviour. The stop our bus in jungle.

No customer orientation. Waiting unnecessarily for long time at stops. Waited for dinner at filthy restaurant at 12.30 in night.
Driver and cleaner don't know how to talk to people

They are thieves. They charge you full and many times they leave there passengers on road mid of night. Without taking care that passenger is male or female. Very abusive staff. Purely unprofessional team. Worst than even roadways

I had a good experience travelling with northern travels.
We travelled from bhuntar to delhi. The bus was on time and clean.
We were provided with a water bottle, polythene to keep the garbage so that the bus will remain clean, i personally like this idea. We boarded around 4 pm and reach delhi at 6 a.m.

Took 15hrs to reach from Shimla to Delhi, not recommended at all, worst buses, they charge for Volvo and give u third class buses journey, no mobile charging port, non AC buses. Staff are very supportive, service is also very impressive.but waiting room was very poor & the toilet was not clean to use.

Worst experience ever. No time management. Currently travelling (delhi-ambala- shimla) in normal bus just a point above from roadways buses.
They took a fare of volvo but shiftd us at AMBALA.
Driver or may b representative told me after asking so many times "what's the reason for changing the bus". He just simply said "himachal govt. Se pucho, volvo nhi jati waha".

So finally we are chilling in an ordinary bus with a smell which is very effective even wearing N95 mask. Think twice, thrice before travelling in "NORTHERN TRAVELS"

Not sure about all the negative reviews, but we opted for northern travels twice and both of the times they were saviours during these COVID times. Buses were clean, staff was courteous and we got it on time.recommend!

I was travelling manali to delhi the bus conditiin was too bad whenever it taking a turn very unpleasant and irritating sound was producing which make whole travelling difficult and staff behaviour was too bad and the main reason is that driver stop the bus on an unsafe place the place was totally open and no canteen dhabba no facility no toilets on that place and that was difficult for girls and uncoperative driver it was i think he dont know ladies was also travelling n the bus.seat was very bad please dont book these buses for travelling.blanket was unwashed and too bad.if u have an idea in mind that it only about 12-13 hour route we will travell it easily so please remove this idea from your mind your health may be in risk

Extremely rude staff. Behaving as if they were doing us a favour. All we needed was a loo stop for ladies. They stopped multiple times through the night when they wanted but made such a big deal when we really needed a toilet stop. Even gave us unwarranted advice to book a private vehicle next time!
Driving was also poor.
They charged Rs 20 per baggage in the hold which is generally not done.

I took the bus from Kathmandu to Delhi and at the NEPAL border the conductor called someone who came and stole my backpack from under the bus. I lost my computer and camera and assorted other items. They target western tourists because most are in transit and don't have the time to complain The bus company said that I never had a bag or put one on the bus. Other passengers told them that they saw me put it on the bus. They are dishonest and provide poor service.

Extremely Rude staff, basic amenities weren't provided, AC wasn't working properly, no curtains were provided, charging points not working, they were charging 20rs per luggage to store, WiFi was not available even when it was supposed to be provided, poor interior.seriously would have given a zero if provided with an option. I recommend noone to travel from these buses ever!
