Best sandwiches in town but being popular the service gets a bit slow. Do stick to the sandwiches and coffee.

The food is simple yet delicious. I visit Novelty everytime I'm in Delhi. The decor is really cute and the server is a really nice guy!

Placed an order with them telephonically. Also arranged the wefast service, but they handover it someone from porter, without asking name and details. No compensation provided. Pathetic service.

A quaint little place serving humble delicious sandwiches and pastry/bakery items. Instantly makes you go on a nostalgia trip.

Light and high quality food at fairly affordable rate. Solid no brainer place to satiate hunger.

This place is nice and small and quaint. Food options are very limited but great and their chutney is amazingggg!

Best nostalogic old charm place in South Delhi. Feels like good old school days. Feels like a small old ages 19th century cafe with simple and best sandwiches which are addictive and v addictive cold coffee. The sandwiches are seriously v farely priced at this age and time and the chat I served along with them is awesome. It's a place which is so addictive that people I knw visit there 4 time a month or order online

A good variety of light, tasty sandwiches made on brown or white bread.
Cheese omelettes are great, as well as the cold coffee.

The place was clean, tidy and properly organised! I got veg burgers, which were good! The star rating is coz it was the first time I went to the said place and would prefer visitng more times before I decide upon final ratings!

I has heard of this place for years, so my expectations were sky-high. It disappointed. The sandwiches were ok, but was not too class.

Yummy and affordable snacks.u get to choose what u want and customise your sandwich and eat to content. And the green chutney is the ultimate killer.

They make Some of the best sandwiches. Don't have much variety but what they make is superb. It's value for money. A must try once.

Awesome place for quick bites like Chcicken Sandwiches n Coffee. Another personal favorite is the Cheese Omelette.

I visited first time to taste sandwiches. It has no fancy outlook, any one will get confuse bcz outside it has general store, behind it there is a sweet n cute girl who was managing the whole staff n welcomes visitors. Interior is good. They make different types of sandwiches veg, non veg both, brownies, ColdHotBlack coffee, etc. I ordered roasted chicken sandwich n cheese sandwich. Cheese sandwich tastes good than. But there is no diff or unique method of making, but if u want try diff tastes of sandwiches at one place u can go, but it is costly around 100 u will get 4 triangles of sandwich. Not for family, groups, bcz place is too small, you can meet frnds there. Take away facility, can park.

I've known Novelty Dairy and Store since the mid or late 1960s. The owner then was known as Chhotu ji. I'll have to check with old neighborhood friends to get his proper name. He passed away after we shifted out of Jangpura Extension in 2003. The place is now managed by his son and daughter in law.

Sandwiches (specially the Chicken, Veg, and Cheese ones) are par excellence. As is the cold coffee. The selection of fast foods, etc has increased considerably over the years and it remains a popular joint for youngsters and the middle aged alike.

Parking has always been difficult in that area. But, now with home delivery services like Swiggy and Zomato catering from Novelty, it's easy to get the stuff delivered to your dining table at home.

We visit occasionally for some yummy sandwiches and omelettes. Do keep in mind that their 8am opening time is actually more like 8: 45am (they open at 8: 15 and clean + setup for 30 mins)

My frnd once took me to this place I guess 3-4 years back and since that day it's among my favourite places to have sandwiches and coffee. Small seating area with really good simple coffee and sandwiches and won't harm your pocket too. Sasta, Good Quality, Good Quantity, Simple taste.
Recently, I was there on a weekend morning the place was packed and so I had to wait a bit but the wait was totally worth.
I had the following:
chicken sandwich (₹80)
Novelty's Cold Coffee (₹40)
Chicken Cheese Omelette with 2 slices (₹110)
Whenever I visit I stick to these 3 most of the times and these are definitely a must have.
Portions are pretty decent and totally doing justice to the cost.
Overall, don't expect fancy sandwiches you'll get hills wala experience here just the mountains are missing. Simple food with great taste is all I would say.

A place for a quick bite. Almost like home cooked meal. The small Cafe and seating area took me by surprise. Quality of food is amazing!
