Food quality is good here. I ordered 1 duck thali here. The thali was tasty. But they prepared duck curry in boil style, which is most probably not a proper traditional Assamese style.
Price is little bit high as compared to some other Assamese restaurant situated in Delhi. Most importantly they charged extra price for anything you ordered latter. For example if you need extra rice then you have to pay additional 60 rupees (I haven't seen this concept (charging extra for extra rice/dal in a thali) in other Assamese restaurants present in Delhi including Canboe (Dilli haat, INA) and Maihang (Assam house, Delhi).
Well, was pleasantlynamazed by design as tp how a quarter can be converted to a kitchen. Well, perhaps i did not know what to order and no suggestions came
I ordered Tribal Pork Thali. It was really homely and tasty. Quantity may have been a lil more but in a place like new Delhi, that’s totally worth the bucks.
A very nice small resturant for those who love Assamese food. They serve basic assamese thali and other non veg and beg preparation. Good for food lover and specially people from Assam who look for assamese food in Delhi. The owner is very friendly and make you feel like home. You can have nice meal in budget and they serve all thalis and al a carte s as per menu. Good for both small family and friends to have lunch dinner here.
-Small Area and the interior are plain and dull. -Sitting for Max 4. -Food waiting time is approx 10 to 15 Minutes. -Price: Average between 200 to 500 for most of the dishes. -Taste: Below Average.
This is a very average restaurant. I hate it that they are using the name of a state and have failed terribly in representing it. The restaurant is basically a small room in a crowded, small gali. Food doesn't taste good at all and the staff are very unprofessional. It's not worth your time, money and effort here. This restaurant is just a dissapointment.
The service and atmosphere was wonderful however for Assamese veg thali I will prefer Assam House over oh Assam but for non-veg food Oh Assam provides food at more affordable price.
Amazing food- great taste and total value for money. The place is small and not a hangout spot as such. But it offers excellent Assamese cuisine. The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended for authentic Assamese food!
Came to Delhi for a trip and was craving for the home style Dali-Vaat. Searched for Assamese restaurants in Delhi and found this one. Travelled almost 15 kms in metro, walked for around 2 kms and somehow managed to find this awesome restaurant. Didn’t felt like I was away from home while eating. The food was top notch and the behaviour of the whole team was very polite. Also spoke to someone in Assamese after 6 days and it really feels great. *Pro tip: If you want to pay online make sure you don’t have an airtel sim card because the internet sucks inside the restaurant. Overall it was worth all of it and had a great time there. Kudos to the team.
A hole in the wall serving excellent Asamese food. The place is small so seating can be a problem but the homely food and warmth of the proprietors more than makes up for it
The Oh! Assam I went to 3 years back, and the one I went to today, are poles apart. First of all, mismanagement -ordered a deluxe pork thali, only to be served the regular one. When I asked them about the missing items, they tried to persuade me that it's the deluxe one. Coupled with this, the food was not upto the mark, and I could not finish it completely. I would ask everyone to exercise precaution and research on other options as well if you are looking to have North Eastern food - don't commit the mistake of visiting here like I did who followed the Instagram hype.
PS: This is the first time I had cold rice beer, tasted like lassi.
Very nice Food. Thanks a lot for their staff, food and very Good behaviour. We took Chicken Thali & Pork Thali. Both were vere delicious, nice. Please everyone from Assam come & enjoy food at Oh! Assam.
Finally I tried the fish curry. I love the aromatic mustard seed gravy which gives a different tasted to the fish. I hope they also keep the signature hilsa curry someday.
This place was so cozy with homely ambience. Owner of this restaurant Ruby was such a great host. She made sure that food must taste as authentic as it could. And food was so tasty. It was indeed " Soul Satisfying"
It is a good calm place to spend time with your loved ones along with the authentic Assamese food. Food was very yum and tasty.chicken salad.was too good.
Delicious, taste of food. Very good service. If anyone wants to enjoy Assam tast, Naga taste, Manipuri taste. Try once. Definitely will come again. Place is clean and heigenic. Enjoyed the food in Ohh Assam.
Not really a good place to eat in terms of price and food is nothing special in Taste as other Assamese restaurants do serve. I suggest you to visit Assam Bhawan Canteen rather than this place. Oh Assam! Even charge extra for extra servings, even for the small quantity of Dal will cost you extra 50 Bucks which is a real pathetic.
Damn good! The place is hard to find. But you'll become a frequent customer there once you find it. The price is a bit high still the taste is outstanding
Authentic Assamese food. Would recommend to all the people of Assam who are missing their Favorite Assamese food. Well Done Oh Assam! Best wishes for the future
Not value for money. Now a days, people have very high expectations on services. Food was authentic, less items in the assamese thali, extra charge on in menu items if you ordered extra and the pork dry fry item is not up to the mark.
I just loved d authentic Assamese cuisine. Brought here by an Assamese friend, I was on seventh heaven when I saw the food. Served in copper utensils, the thalis are out of this world. Pork was soft and juicy. And lal chai was d answer to my prayers!
Loved the food, total life saver for my Papa who was tired and upset eating different cuisines in Delhi. So, the delux chicken thali with meat, khar, aloo pitka and also the kheer was very refreshing and yumm.
People there are polite n courteous but restaurant (one small room with sitting arrangement) looks pathetic & the food is completely tasteless. Waste of time & money.
Very small, difficult to locate. Don't take your car in to the oh-so-narrow bylanes. Washroom was dirty and unkept. Food was good. After all, restaurants are all about their food, Very homely. It's like eating in your dining room. The food is quite brilliant and the best dish for me is pork salad. The rice beer is fine but you can better rice beer in nearby hornbill. Overall a must visit for every Assamese cuisine lover.
Charming place with cozy interiors for a delicious and authentic Assamese food! For the best experience and ambiance visit for dinner! The smoked Pork tali is a must try!
PS. Doglovers Jumbo the pug is very much friendly with everyone and makes sure you have a good time there!
Very small, difficult to locate. Don't take your car in to the oh-so-narrow bylanes. Washroom was dirty and unkept. Food was good. After all, restaurants are all about their food. Aren't they?
They serve very nice assamese food. The restaurant is a bit unhygienic but the delicious food covers it all. They have delivery options as well. Should definitely try the pork thali The chicken thali Smoked pork Duck curry
Very small and cozy place for assam food. You get nice thali which are fine and home cooked. The owner has a small dog too who is so cute and adorable.you can play with the dog too.
