Lovely cosy bookstore by a cafe. The range of books is quite exquisite and some even might not be available online. The decor is gram attractive and you must take pictures here or sit in a warm corner flipping pages. Have delicious drinks and food at the cha bar that is right beside the books and have an unwinding day.
A top class book store with wide variety of books on various subjects. Ambience and decor excellent. A cafe is running within the premises of this Oxford Book Store where good crowd mostly college and university students visit regularly. Paid car parking is available nearby.
They have very good collection of books. But it's very crowded on the weekends. The food quality is Okayish. So if you are thinking about spending some peaceful time, reading a book sipping on a cup of coffee, you will be disappointed.
Best place to buy novels. Guys I was searching for Spanish novels I didn't get in old Delhi but I got here. Price is quite expensive but ambience is also good
Nice place for the youngsters & the old, too-to grab a bite & buy amazing books or browse through & that too in amazing & de-stressing CP, after this one could hop into a good pub, nearby, if you so wish -I am madly regular, I think this place is seven years young, now! Previously I used to visit in Statesman house! I am a hard-core CPIITE! Lol
Favourite place since college time, earlier it used to be at statement building and now shifted to opposite side of it and situated next to Chai Point. Staircase goes up to heaven for book lovers. Huge variety of all segment of books, which are very well organised. Also a small tea cafe is there, which serves nice bakery n breakfast items. Overall
A perfect place for booklovers where u can actually sit and flip through Ur favourite books.not to mention the proximity to Chabar.which makes up for a perfect coffee date.
The name has been changed to Cha Bar. The place is a modern library and Cafe. You could find different types of books based on what do you like. The cranberry ice tea and cold coffee served is nice. The place is very interesting. It is in central Delhi. Could be reached through Rajiv Chowk Metro Station gate number 4. It is situated in outer circle.
Went there since I heard a lot about it, but the place is just a plain mess if you wanna sit there, have a tea and look at some books. The salesperson won't let you sit in the books sections for more than 10 minutes while other areas are so crowded that you can not sit there. At best it is just another bookshop. I pains me to write this review but I don't want other customers who are looking for quality to go there and waste their time.
It's always a delight to be at this place. Bustling with life and energy anytime you go. Food served inside the cafe is at reasonable prices. Overall I would recommend everyone to visit this bookstore.
It is an amazing book store. It has a hidden cha bar café. The place is super clean and wonderful to be at. You can even sit and read. They have stationary accessories as well. Everytime you go you'll find something new. Last time I found a tarrot card reader! Which I might add was really good in her work.
Books are everywhere in Delhi. For books you may not require to visit this place. But visit this place for the small cafe attached to it. You would love it.
Lovely place to eat and read. For all book lovers you get latest released books and decent range of food menu. Sit down with your book and sip some nice coffee along with pasta/ pizza/ sandwiches. The only missing thing was fresh air and I think that's how Cannaught place is made like as I visited Chayyos, Route 4 and I found all the places have closed interiors with almost no windows and high walls. But I like the genetry and the outlay of the books.
Its really beautiful and good place for any Avid reader. There are all kind of genre available even for Kids. Its just that they don't give any discount on books. I purchased books and all were rate sticker they put by theirself.
The food is edible. That's it really. The bookstore staff are callous, rude and thoroughly unprofessional. There are a few good people in the cafe and they try against insurmountable odds to do a good job. The rest are just plainly and simply terrible.
Located on the 1st floor in Connaught place, this is an amazing Book store having a great collection of books on every subject. The decor is fantastic. The staff is courteous and helpful. They also have a nice cafe. Recommended!
It's a nice book store with a cafe too. But weekend parking is a problem. If you are planning to go to the store plz see where you are going to park your vehicle They will not take responsibility.either it's a two-wheeler or 4 wheeler So that the major problem Otherwise nice store to buy good books
It is one of the best store in the city. They have lovely attractive sitting plus play area for kids. My kid enjoyed sitting and reading there. Collection of books is vast. They have cafeteria too to sit n have a cup of delicious coffee with snacks. Fish n chips were yummy. We spent 3-4 hrs and enjoyed our day out with kids. Must visit for people who love books
Oxford Bookstor is a familiar name in bookstores. Several meet ups and book launch has happened here. You will find gamut of books. Based on indian n foreign authors and ranging from each genre like mythology, documentary, fiction, selfhelp and thrillers.
And its adjacent to cha bar so you can have a cup of tea or read a book or both or have some lovely snacks with your friends.
This place was something beautiful because I always been there whenever I feel low I've been there and feel amazing. Best place to be when you feel and want to be alone.
Nice bookstore but need to organise the books better. More focus on tarot, stationery and what not. Cha Bar is next door but can get really lots sometimes.
From books on all time favourite Classics to books on bedtime stories Oxford bookstore has it all. What i particularly liked about it was the reading room; You can pick a book of your choice at spends hours on days end. The Air conditioned book store makes sure that you're comfortable while engrossed in your new read. Plus you have the 'Chai Bar' right next to it so a cup of coffee (or chai for that matter) is never too far. The beverage menu offers a variety of choices. All in all I'd say it's a day we'll spent.
