Palam railway station connects to the northern railway line and is in west Delhi. The station code of Palam railway station is PM.

The station has three platforms and is a part of the Delhi suburban railway. The platform is not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including Food stalls, water and sanitation but positive side is a small town like station with very less crowd and green surroundings because of many trees. Escalator or left not available, one foot over bridge to cross from one platform to other. You can take tickets easily from window. You can take an autorickshaws or book a rental to travel from the station. You may even choose to travel by bus or metro. Nearest metro station is Palam metro station is approx 1.0 km distance. Overall it's a good station.

Palam area has a palam railway station and palam metro station. It has an IGI airport also. It has good shopping areas.

Young boys are drinking wine and smoking in the day time at railway station what could you expect from railway police of palam no one is watching. How can we say it's safe for girls and ladies.

The only Station in Delhi where you hear the bird voice and feel like your home town railway station there are so many trees the age of more than 50 years on the platform.

Palam is a major suburb and residential colony in South West Delhi. The Indira Gandhi International Airport, formerly known as Palam Airport, the main airport of National Capital Region is situated here. It is one of 70 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of the Delhi National Capital Territory in northern India.

Umpteen times seen theft, snatching incidents. Unsafe. Sleeper reservation in most of the trains is equivalent to general ticket for the journey between delhi and other close cities. Like delhi to rewari. Chances are that you may have to compromise and request ticketless locals to get your seat for even sitting. Stay safe.

From palam railways station one side you get train to Rewari and other side delhi

This station is not so clean but okay. Renovation is going on. From here we can find e riksha to travl local they charge 10rs to palam metro sation and up to 50rs to other nearby places

खस्ता हालत हैं प्लेटफार्म के. इंफॉर्मेशन बोर्ड उपलब्ध नहीं ताकि डिब्बों का पता लग सके कि कौनसा कोच कहाँ जाकर रुकेगा। बाकी पानी की भी हालत खराब है।

It will take you to the old times when railways staions were a part of life, always alive like narayan's malgudi days. World and it's inhabitants have changed so much but this place is the same. You can keep doing what you want, people come and go, mostly locals. Some for a walk.
I have felt time slowing here gradually.
Metro station of palam about at a distance of 1.5 km.
Trains to rewari, gurgaon, bijwasan, delhi cantt, ghaziabad could be boarded here.
Airport is not very diatant too.
Parking available, general reservation counter in the station itself (near the entrance).
Reserved seat reservation is some 200 metres ahead towards sadhnagar.

Palam airport is at a convenient distance from this Railway station.
In summer season, drinking water kept in the pots is available free to the passengers at the platforms.

Only having 2 platforms, no cleanliness, lesser food court availble on station, no toilets on platform, unsatisfactory.

Palam railway station is a small railway station in Palam which is a residential and commercial neighborhood of the South West Delhi of Delhi. Its code is PM.  The station is part of Delhi Suburban Railway. The station consists of three platforms. The platform is not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation.

Palam station is on Delhi to Rewari rail line and mostly trains stops here other than some superfast/express trains. This is a normal station and not maintained properly and regularly and approach road is also not maintained. Palam station is having a large number of benches to wait for train. Station is under renovation/addition work. You can avail e-rikshaw, auto rikshaw, buses from here for your destination. Pickup and dropped off here is possible. Drinking water facility is also here. Its a clean and safe place public transport like rickshaws, buses, taxis, and etc are easily available here and also, there is a market just out of the station where we can buy things like garments, accesories, and many more.

There are no food and beverage kiosks and toilets on platform number 2. Very dim light during night time. No information boards or coach indicators.

Palam railway station is helpful for daily passengers as well as travellers, but the staff posted at this station is not good and their behaviour is very bad. Approachable railway station and nearby market is plus point. Drinking water supply as well as cleaningness are bad at this railway station. Further, some more train's stoppage are required at this station.
