Very bad experience with salimar staff they don't know how to talk
Very irresponsible person in their staff seeing ladies with bad way talk like they are boss plz check teri degree or fimlybackgroung

Working very efficiently but the photostat machine was not working. I have to go outside 500 meter to get my papers photostat.
Otherwise everything was nice and I have got my passport renewed within 8 days of applying. Thanking the agency for making it so simple. The staff inside was very helping.

I came here @ the PSK, Shalimar Bagh for the renewal of my passport, for the second time; first time, my documents weren't complete. It took time today also, but all my doubts and queries were dealt with, n the staff was also helpful. It took a good time to get my passport thing done (all the documents need to be checked and verified, so, people who need to go for their passport renewal or for a new passport, please take into consideration, you need at least 3 to 4 hours for everything to be completed only if your documents are all in order, otherwise, you'll be given a different date to come again with the required docs). I would really like to appreciate the APO sir (Assistant Passport Officer) there, he really made a push for me to get the things done for my passport. Thanks!

Making center look like busy in such less crowd. Tatkal means nothing here. Come here only if you are a baby or senior citizen above 80 otherwise you just need to wait from morning till evening.

The staff was very rude and were asking for bribe for re-issue of the Passport despite of having all the valid documents. I would never recommend anyone to come here for any work as the staff clearly wants money from everyone.

Very good experience. Totally hassle-free. It hardly took 20mins to 30mins to process my passport application for Reissue.
And within 50 hours of the visit my passport was delivered to me by Indian speed post.

Location is super confusing, no sign boards for passport office, just other commercial offices hoarding are visible. Never saw any casual place before. While booking appointment, they give u reporting time but no one is there to attend at that time. No one properly checks n suggests documents needed but process the file ahead but when u get inside for photograph n fingerprints, they say documents r incomplete n appointment is rescheduled. Staff is super rude so is the customer service helpline people, just typical behaviour of government employee. Passport office looks more a assembly Hall, people are standing, roaming, interfering where ever they want to it, no one from passport office managing crowd. Hope somebody from higher authority take a audit of this place.

This passport sewa Kendra not located where map showing, this is behind the Toyota automobiles. Quite good, fast service, good staffs.btw i forgot hard copies they said don't warry we'll do this for u ️.

Despite the entire process is very smooth here but please note that they will ask you for 3 ID proofs as well as 10th marksheet despite the passport seva site will show you that you need to carry only original adhar card along with you.

The employees here are good but don't ask 1 ques extra except from what is required they might get annoyed. Otherwise the facilities are nice

Never even think of going to this Passport Office if you are applying your Passport in Tatkaal. They will make you wait atleast for 2-3 hours. I had an appointment for 12 pm and I reached before time as the reporting time was 11.45pm. They took 3 hours to complete the process while the people who applied for Normal Passport got free within an hour. Pathetic Service!

A Whole Syndicate is working outside Passport Office Shalimar Palace.
These touts get passports made as early as possible. They arrange every document sitting in the 2 Wheeler parking under the tree. A Trap should be laid to catch the culprits.

The passport office complex is good. But there no public toilet available for those who are accompanying the candidates and waiting outside. Guards or others in the surrounding will guide you to the nearby open spaces, which is quite embarassing. Pl ensure action by the concerned to provide with public toilet/s (paid facilities to ensure cleanliness) with immediate effect. We should not forget that we are living in the era to make our capital hygiene.

I was bit scared looking at few reviews before visiting today for my appointment that its gonna eat my whole day or what.
But may be those reviewer had bad day as i saw process completing in 20 minutes end to end.
Cleaned and tidy place.
Great staff unless person before you had eaten up patience of staff already.
I stepped in at 9: 35am and stepped out at 10: 05. That too because i went through counters twice to get my police station changed to nearest one.
Else in one go it takes 15-20 minutes only.
Tip: Book morning initial slots as when I stepped out i saw people standing in queue at guard seat.

Worst management, doesn't clarify the process and reasoning given not satisfactory.
Enquiry staff is not upto the mark to answer patiently.

Well managed, neat and clean, very fast service organized by TCS, vert less time taken, around 1 hour, car and bike parking available, clean washrooms, photocopy service available inside the PSK, but must have carry all the documents photocopy as well as original, like 10th certificate, aadhar card, pan card, voter ID. You have to gone through 4 counters.and in the end they will ask fill feedback form before exiting.

Rude staff. I had an appointment at 11 and was issued the token number at 1. All they said was keep waiting!

After taking online appointment, they have started the process too late. Online it's written that the whole process takes 1hr but it's nothing like that, it takes much time as said.
Suggestion find another passport office who works according to the time Or dont bring anyone along with you because you can't go inside, you have to wait outside and in summers it's freaking hot plus NO FANS NO CANTEEN NOTHING.

PSK SHALIMAR BAGH. Worst place to apply passport, staff is ok but the main officer is very very rude. He doesn't know how to talk to ladies.they don't follow the rules set by government as we can apply for passport all over India irrespective of our current address and permanent address.but these government employe doesn't want to work at all.

Pathetic service.very slow. The one who wait outside are simply in hell. I went there on 28/04/2022 with a friend, he went inside and I like others waiting outside got half roasted in heat. No drinking water for us.no toilets for ladies waiting outside. This is bare minimal I'm asking drinking water and toilet. No ac eateries or place to sit nearby. Please it's a request to concerned authorities to look into this place.

The staff member of room no: - AP01 is such a aggressive and misbehaving member. He can’t control his anger and shouts a lot on the public. Poor and worst staff member facility

This place has gone from best to good to worse in 3 years.
Took me 3 hours and 27 minutes to get a passport renewal. Iny previous interactions it was less than 1 hour.

There was a quoe with every particular batch number, note your batch number and bring all the id proofs and remember to bring your 10th and 12th marksheet or graduation degree and 2 recent passport size photo if you’re applying for non-ecr…
In the quoe, show your application receipt to the guard by phone or print receipt and go inside and after that make photocopies of all your documents as there is a photocopy machine inside the office and submit your documents and then you have given a token number, wait for your number, give your thumb print or all documents and it’s done in 1 hour approx and then after some days there will be a police verification at your home and after police verification you will receive your passport withinh 7-10 days…

This is one of the 92 pasport seva kendra, setup by MEA, situated at the shalimar bagh near to Haider our metro station, adjoining by outer ring road and badli village intersection.there are many other car showrooms in proximity like Toyota and Hyundai and Caspia hotel. Do bring your original documents. Photocopy can be done inside the kendra with nominal charges of rs 3 per copy. You have to do all the formalities like registration fee payment online before visiting here. It is very well managed system where you have been given a time slot.

Neat and clean - passport services centre near Shalimar Bagh in Delhi. All the formalities took less than an hour here

Very courteous and helpful staff who go out of the way to help you. I was surprised that process went smooth from entry to exit. Only caveat why I am not giving 5 stars is there are 4 points of verification from one counter to other which is not convenient for senior or disabled citizens. Also I had gone for reissue of my fathers passport under tatkal. Online application did not mention about carrying a SECOND identity proof. By Luck my father had his DL. So always have 2 identity proofs with you.

TCS department was amazing whereas B counter staff was rude, ridiculous and highly unprofessional. Specially this guy named Ravikant. Really misbehaved and talked rudely with me and my dad when we denied his suggestion of talking to someone standing outside office regarding our documents. According to Ravikant our work would get done easily and smoothly with their support.

Visited the place this week. The centre is very well managed, enough signs on the road and parking available.

Strict policy on when you can enter. Only the batch with the correct reporting time is sent inside. Works really well to keep things in order inside and give some semblance of social distancing.
Ensure that you get there on time if you are delayed by more than 3p mins of your slot - your appointment maybe automatically invalidated and you would have to register again (no additional costs).

Keep all the required documents plus copies of all of them to expedite your process. There is a Xerox available inside, but it will have a line so better to get your copies from home.
SMS updates service is optional but really useful to keep getting regular updates of the application status.

Staff is pretty good and helpful and the inside premises are clean and have washrooms inside the premises.
All in all took me about 30 mins with Tatkal, should be done under an hour with normal applications as long as all documents are ready.

Fast work. Amazing staff, nice infrastructure, helping staff members and persons around, in my case for new passport 1 set of 10th aadhar and licence req. And there is a photocopy Machine there please carry docs in original also and self attested copies. No need to take appointment slip printout, sms appointment message will work. Wheelchair, clean washrooms. Only entry for appointment taker. In my case 2 hrs time taken. Please have patience. Everything is sorted there.

Well organised very systemic office. It has two lines at entrance one for senior citizens/ Tatkal passport and second for all other citizens. Token is issued from here and sent a dedicated counter for processing and photo etc then at another counter very systemically and finally at last counter where photocopy of application is handled over with Thanks. TCS management is managing at very nicely.

Accompanied my family member here and was waiting outside.
Few helpful things:
1. Free parking available, drove my car here.
2. Waiting outside the office while the person who's applying is inside going through all the verification, is total waste of time according to me. Do not accompany an adult, rather go back home or somewhere to chill.
3. If you are accompanying a minor, you'll be going inside the office, so no tips for you, just keep your documents ready and complete.

My experience waiting outside:
You'll have a lawn to sit in and if you're lucky, you might get a chair as well to sit.
Pro tip: if planning to wait, have earphones, a fully charged phone in order to kill time and water.

Must carry 3-4 photocopies of Aadhar card, Pan card / voters ID. There is only one photocopy machine inside the premises which was not working the day we went and locating another photocopier was difficult and time consuming.other than that the staff was EXCELLENT. Very efficient, co operative and fast. All other documents to be carried are mentioned in the official website.

Supportive officials! But know in advance that buying a passport protective cover is completely optional.

Services are great but as others have mentioned they try to sell you the cover for 500 which is optional initially at the document checking counter and later once you are getting your photo clicked. If you deny then their attitude towards you changes. They try to convince you that it is required and definitely a lot of people fall into their scam.
I hope someone reads this and take appropriate action.

Fast, polite, clear, clean and good service. Hassle free place for passport. Visited there for my passport and got all the process done within 45 minutes.

So I reached an hour before the allotted time. And they entertained. Barely 15 min it took to get through all the formalities. 10th certification and adhar card were the only documents they asked for. There's a photocopy booth inside the kendra.
On second counter, they ask for 500Rs. For passport cover, which is not compulsory, you can deny for it, but the way they ask, it seems compulsory and people land up paying the amount, so beware of that.
Rest everything is beautifully organized.

I went for my Daughter's Passport, she is 2 year old. When i presented photograph to representative they said photograph is not good and asked me to go out and get a new photographs immediately. When I went out Security guard told me that there is a shop at front road. When I reached there a PAN shop that is also a shop for this urgent passport photographs, shop keeper said i know details just allow me to click photographs its 10 min job (8 pics for 100 Rs/-) when i returned back to passport office they were happy with photograph (though quality of photograph is not good). All sorted that day however yesterday I got a call from Passport Head office that your daughter's passport photograph is not clear please come to Head office with new passport size photograph.

Summary: - Tata staff at Shalimar PSK is having partnership with PAN shop keeper and they are making handsome money this way and they are making people fool and just earning extra bugs resulting end user are facing problems. I am sure they will be more cases like this that happened in past and not get reported, I hope some authority should take action against this very soon.

One scam going on here.
They will give you a contact number of Naveen and ask you to pay Rs 500 for Passport Cover. They will tell you in such a way that you would end up paying. But don't pay them. It is not required. The department people are making fools out of people by telling them to pay 500 Rs. Just question them regarding why you need Rs 500. And they will then tell you that it is not compulsory. So, beware of that.

Place is neat and clean. There is ample space for parking your vehicles. Entry is adjacent to the Toyota car showroom. Photocopy shop is there inside the office.

Awesome place. Staff good & familiar. Work very quickly. 5-6 stages of documents clarification. I received my passport within 15 days.

Helpful and supportive staff, clean and hygienic place.everything is well maintained and functioned. Guards are helpful.canteen is not great. Parking is easily accessible. Everything is scheduled very nicely and my experience is very great about this place for all of these things. Good and efficient service however there's no washroom and no fan available for visiotrs waiting outside the PSK.

Pros:
everything is electronic like your application form and copy of your documents. Just u have to carry your originals.
Paid Photocopy is available inside the psk.
All kind of processing is very fast and easy
Just you have to follow the number given to you and visit the respective counter.
Great parking space available.
Only the applicant can enter the PSK.

Cons:
The waiting area for the visitor with the applicant is not good.
The visitor is not allowed in the PSK so u need to sit outside.
The biggest problem is that No washroom or toilet facility for applicant visitors.
No air-condition or fan is there in that area as shown in photos. It is a semi-covered area.
Two cafes are there for the visitor so at least we can have tea of light snacks.

This place is very good. The service is very good and efficient. P. S. The office is near by metro and the plus.

Points to be noted before visiting

1) Parking here is free, so don't bother about Parking space.

2) bring required documents, as u have mentioned in ur application form (photo ID, address proof, and other conditional proof as per requirement in original and photocopies)

3) photographs are clicked on d spot now days, sk dress decent bkz it will be in ur passport

Polite staff, quick service, ample space to wait outside, walk able distance from haiderpur badli mor metro station. Don't mind the distance come here for your passport and believe me you would always want to come here.

The place is good and services are nice as well but things will take time to get done as there are a lot of people most of the time. One of the executive was talking on the phone while attending me which is completely waste of time and making me wait for no reason. Rest was fine.

They even cancel Gazette but told us to bring newspaper for name change. What an Idiot. Please train these nusense people. So uneducated staff.

Its day 36 after submission of clear police verification and there is no update on passport. I don't think people work here. They are sitting there just for fun. Avoid if you can

One of the best psk in delhi all staff are friendly.today my appointment date 21/5/19 and counter A taken 5 mints, B & C counter clear my file within 1 minute.

The service here is really fast as compared to other government services. I am impressed by the professionalism of the employees who are working here. I hope all government employees start working like them.

Jaldi pauncho atleast 15minutes so that issues na aaye and must carry your documents with original one too.

Best Passport Seva Kendra office in Shalimar Place. Same as like ITO PSK office. This is less queue office. You don't have to wait so much as compare to ITO PSK.

Some very important points before going there:
1. Women staff is impressive as always but some men, they are just mannerless.
2. Bring with you every original document. They may find flaws in your documents which you can't see but they will, so better carry all of them so you don't have to go there again.
3. Hardly takes more than 2 hours for anybody.
4. Food vendors are there inside the facility.
5. They won't submit your helmets & only applicant applying for passport is allowed inside.
6. Try your best to reach on time.
