Everything was about the restaurant screamed average to me. Food was average, service was below average and atmosphere was above average. Nothing of note.
We visited the restaurant as a large group. Most of the people enjoyed it. It was too touristy for me and that's not what I came to India for. In the afternoons it was packed with tourists and it bothered me.
Kashmiri kebab, reshmi kebab dishes were succulent and tasty. The butter chicken was a delight. Sadly, the Pindi chole was disappointing - not at all like their usual Pindi chole. The spice notes were not very sharp and flavour / texture of the gravy was more chickpea-y than flavourful. If you know what I mean.
Restaurant recommended to us by the guide who accompanied us here. The environment is nice, clean and spacious. A bit cold with the air conditioning definitely too low but the problem was quickly resolved. We got the platter with three tasters of tandoori chicken, one of the three was raw enough inside that we left it. A similar fate befell two other traveling companions who had chosen another dish, also chicken. Our dish was served long after the other diners who had almost all finished their dinner. Although the service was attentive, the organization and the quality of the food leave something to be desired. More than someone has, after dinner, accused intestinal problems. I personally didn't have any problems but it was still a shame having to leave a third of the dish because it was raw. I strongly advise against it
We had planned a get together with some old friends and decided to go to pindi. Starters were very good but main course could have been better. Nevertheless over all experience was great.
Damn expensive restaurant. They do not know how to prepare a biriyani. But rest of the dishes like starters were good. With respect to size it is small. Rest rooms are fine.
Ordered hot n sour and vegetable clear soup. Soups were downright bad. Too much cornflour and no taste in either one. Veg seekh kebab was good and a must try. Aloo taka tak were average. They were sweet and too much filled. Had pindi chole, paneer butter masala, garlic naan, butter n plain roti along with masala papad. Pindi chole were one of a kind. This is a must try dish. Please note this was spicy with green chillies. Paneer butter masala was good too but not a must try. This too had small green chillies spiced. Garlic naan was soft and delicious. Tandoori roti was average. So was the butter one. Masala papad was very spicy capable of making your taste buds deads and causing a headache. Had gulab jamun and butter scotch ice cream in desserts. Gulab jamun was very very sweet but the ice cream was good. Ambiance was average. Orders were served well and on time. Service was good. Though the tables are placed close to each other and there is very less space to get inside.
I personally didn't like veg platter. Rest whatever we ordered.paneer, daal, saag, corn, assorted breads, all were good. Nice ambience, sanitized properly.
Huge waiting on weekends. I had to wait for an hour at night 10pm. Food is good but not worth the trouble of excessive waiting time. Cost is also very high. Looks like only thing that pulls people here is the fact that restaurant is operating since 1948. Otherwise objectively not worth the price.
This place never fails. Have been visiting here since ages, visited today also and it was amazing. The pindi chana and kadai paneer was awesome. Veg kebabs were great, now there is a bar as well. Do visit if you love indian cuisine.
We tried the Chicken Biryani and fish seekh kabab here, both the items were good but doesn't justify the high price here. I liked the slightly roasted chicken pieces in the biryani and the Summer Sunshine cocktail.
Pindi restaurant! Let me be honest. Our 1st choice was Gulati restaurant, but as it was fully booked and the waiting period was 45min, we walked over to the Pindi Restaurant which is situated in the same complex on pandara road. The ambience, the cutlery, the waiters were all good. The food was delicious but pricing of food was bit on the higher side. We ordered a range of starters. The quantity of every dish was over the top. We had to take away some food as parcel as we were not able to finish it. Mutton dish (Rogan Josh) and Chicken dish (Rada) were awesome. Also the starters like fried chicken winglet were absolutely sumptuous. This restaurant also serves alcohol, so any body wanting to go a little overboard are welcome here. Overall we had a nice experience. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to have a nice delicious lunch or dinner.
This is a place to go with your family and friends. The place has got you all covered with amazing ambience music, food and drinks. I had ordered chicken tikka, chilli garlic noodles and the taste was lipsmacking.
I went here with my family.i had butter chicken, tandoori chicken, dal makhni, cheese korma, bhatti ka murg, mushroom mutter, garlic nans and rotis. Every variety is so fresh and so so so delicious and ambience is so finest, highly recommended.love this place with great heart️
We loved the food and the service. We were lucky to get a table on Saturday, all the tables were full after lockdown. Service is very nice, waiter helpful with suggestions. They have an alcohol menu as well. Will certainly go again and bring our guests there.
This place is one of the oldest at pandara Road which serves amazing North Indian and mughalai food. My favorite since 2015. I have tried almost everything from their menu.
Delicious food, best nd courteous service, my guest who is owner of big Restaurent in Germany appreciated the quality nd tasty food nd was much impressed nd enjoyed
I have always had a super experience at Pindi. I don't know why it's the least popular. I've always loved their chicken more than anywhere else on Pandara road. In fact I prefer Pindi and have more over Gulati and chicken inn.
Nice and cosy restaurant. Preferred non-veg over the veg dishes! Laal-maas and butter chicken were yummy! Non-veg platter was equally tasty. Daal makhani was a let-down! The staff could be a bit more receptive.
Pindi serve amazing Mughlai food, the place is very renowned and legendary, so if you want to enjoy the food the best time is early evening. Well we the ordered their mouth-watering Dahi Ke Kabab, Be it a vegetarian or Non Vegetarian, one must try their biryanis! All n all the service is very good, staffs are very friendly and prompt, and ambience is good as well.
