Pragati Maidan situated in Delhi is quite huge and quite charming. There are many complexes situated in this ground, one of the latest of them is Bharat Mandapam. This Bharat Mandapam was inaugurated by the famous Prime Minister of the country, Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. A huge statue of Nataraja was installed in this Mandapam. This Bharat Mandapam has been installed at the entrance. It has been beautifully decorated to welcome the foreign guests in the G20 Summit to be held on 9-10 September 2023. The G20 Summit will be held in the Bharat Mandapam premises of the same grounds under the chairmanship of India. The Chairmanship of G20 will be held by India from 1 December 2022 to 1 December 2023. Foreign guests on various types of problems and further activities in G20 were discussed by all the G-20 guests.
Pragati Maidan is a prominent exhibition and convention complex located in the heart of New Delhi, India. Pragati Maidan was established in 1972 and has since become one of India's largest exhibition and convention centers. It was designed to promote trade and commerce by hosting exhibitions, trade fairs, conventions, and other events. The complex boasts extensive indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces, conference halls, and seminar rooms. It is equipped with modern facilities and infrastructure to accommodate a wide range of events, from international trade fairs to cultural exhibitions. In recent years, Pragati Maidan has undergone a significant renovation and modernization project to upgrade its facilities and infrastructure. This project aimed to enhance its capacity to host larger and more diverse events.
A destination for major big and small exhibitions, the place has been re developed well. The roads, the halls are all well maintained. It is located near to Supreme Court metro station if one wants to avoid traffic. Parking space is also available and is little far, but most of the ime shuttle service is available. The only drawback i see is availability of food options outside the exhibition in common areas, which I hope shld improve with the time.
Bharat Mandapam is very nicely built. Multiple exhibition halls have been already there at Pragati Maidan. Nearest metro station is Supreme Court, closest to gate no. 10 of Pragati Maidan
Great place to showcase in exhibitions, accessible to all concerned. Get to meet Vendor, suppliers. Discover new technologies, developments in various business sectors, and much more
It was very nice visit in exhibition. Many stalls from different diffrent countries were there with their beautiful products. Management, administration were indeed very well for public.
Pragati Maidan is an ever evolving venue for large and medium scale exhibitions and conventions related to many sector including but not limited to Automobile, education, handicrafts and trades, along with many third parties' conventions in New Delhi. It has an area of nearly 150 acres of exhibition space which is still being developed to extent of multi floor grounds being among the biggest exhibition centers in India. At present ITPO owns and manage the exhibition complex and its management. Recently NBCC bags multi crore orders from ITPO for its redevelopment of world class facilities for future exhibitions and their audience. Project covers 3.26 lakh sq mtr of built up area including a very big parking space for around 5000 cars.
Place is very nice neat and clean. At the time of trade fair one must visit this place. IFSEC was also held in the same place. Everything was so organized as per covid and security guidelines.
It's is very great time to come here before end of the exhibition, i feel here much batter rather than other places, in this exhibition more than 500+ company to represent their own products or machinery item if you are interested then go or visit there it's about to end thank you.
The tour was amazing and I saw a lot of artifacts that I never see before and the experience was really very good but this trade fair was not that good in comparison to previous year trade fair
Pragati Maidan is a place for exhibition new car launch new bike launch Electronic Fair International Trade Fair also happened there but for the sometime maintenance work is going on and due to covid it is closed I have visited there many trade fairs like International Trade Fair car Fair and many more.
It was the best place for trade fairs and many exhibitions and even the book fair and would remain in our hearts and for me as well, as I remembered from my childhood I enjoyed this place and for many years and even I enjoyed the Appu ghar as well when I was very very young.
Accha ground h events karane ke liye, Abhi kam chal raha h to kafi kam hissa khula hua h, pr kam khatm hone ke bad kaafi bda ho jayega aur kaafi acchi building bhi bn rhi h to tb zyada maza ayega.
Is know for Trade Fair and and other exhibitions. Pragati Maidan Metro station is now known as Supreme Court Station. Now a days only exhibitions are held. No other events. After new IECC project it will be holding international conferences.
Pragati Maidan is a venue for large exhibitions and conventions. Some of the events held in Pragati Maidan are the India International Trade Fair, World Book Fair and the Auto Expo.
This is the worst place I have ever visited, tickets are sold to black marketeers and they earn double profit from them. As far as the food of this place is concerned, the price is very as compared to quality and quantity. The way of talking of police is very rude and it seems that uneducated people have got the right to handle people, so it can be imagined easily that the way in which they are fulfilling their job.
Under renovation.visited for IITF 2018.now IITF is small and tickets not available on gates.pragati maidan lost its charm may be after renovation it will look good
Nice place to go fith friends as well as with family, but currently 80% of the are was under construction so only 6 out 46 halls were open. But after reconstruction it would be a place worth visiting.
This time IITF is totally waste. Very badly organised and there is nothing like international in it. All stalls are full of 2nd grade products and that too are of very high price. Only spices board of india stall is genuine and having good quality products.
The place was good earlier but now the complete area is under construction. Only 4 -5 halls are open so its a waste of time and money to visit the place until the construction of new building is comleted.
This time not a huge fair like earlier. But nicer than earlier, as less stalls nd not much hectic to shop. You can easily cover whole venue under 3-4 hrs Max. Just don't go on weekends for iitf.
I visited this place during Trade fair. As due to construction work the place seem to b small for the event. So a lot of rush was there. But the food we had taken inside it was worst. Its tasteless. Rest it has a number of hall. And all the exhibits are inside it. Lovely time spent in it.
Enriching experience of variety of food, sruffs, decorations and many more things of different states of india. Beauty was the foreigners shops, evening programmes, local dance etc. A must visit for all age group who likes to taste different colours of india.takes minm 3-4 hrs, Negative point, prices r high a bit.
Very nice place to visit. This time there is a lot of crowd due to the conjusted area allotment to the exhibitours
Food court is too good. U will get lot of food for taste without paying money.
Attraction point in trade Fair is Assam love to visit the pavilion. One bad thing about the fair is in one pavilion they added 4 State just because of this lots of problem coming.and to much conjusted area.
Nice place for organizing fairs and expo, perfect location at the center of ncr, easy to reach, walking distance from metro. Currently under construction.
All State Pavallions have been demolished and are under reconstruction. The whole of IITF was conjusted in 6 halls, quality drastically dropped. Nothing much remains.
Pragati maidan has always been on list for trade fair and earlier auto expo too which now has been shifted from Pragati maidan and transferred to greater Noida
A day is not enough to cover whole. Very enjoyable. And yes very very much rush. Nearest metro station is Pragati maidan. I'll get entry prom gate no. 10 after deboarding at Pragati maidan metro station. One should wear comfortable clothes and a good quay of foot wear or mainly shoes.
