Many people say that this place is so much good it has got world's best paratha in the world, but I don't feel like that it's true, we went to this shop I found that investing Money here for a good food is not worth it, like the size of the paratha was also small and the filling was also not mixed properly, we ordered one paneer paratha and one mix veg Paratha, although mix veg Paratha was good in comparison to paneer paratha, and paratha was deep fried and in my knowledge paratha should be just brushed up with oil and baked, I felt like that it was a "kachori" instead of a paratha as the price got higher the size of the paratha gets shorter and if you want to go there you should have cash with you, because as the shop is very far inside from the road so any online transaction can't be possible because data internet connection doesn't work there properly, if you want to go there than you should try any other shop inspite of this shop.
Authentic in taste. Paneer paratha is great in taste and paneer filling is very creamy and soft in texture and taste.kaadu k sabzi also great in taste, its like bhandare wala kadu.i am loving it.try it guys.
Overhyped food outlet. Pararhe no actually these are puri. Taste of paratha is ok ok Sabjis are not up to mark, only salt and chilli like taste.only sweet pumpkin was good. In short overhyped
As expected of Chandni chowk and the name "Parathe wali gali" it is a small shop located a little inside from the main street.
It consists of a variety of parathas, the best was "Rabri Paratha". This is something new to sound and taste. Rest all others you can find at other places as well and with better taste. I also tried lassi, that was naice as well.
The Paratha shop in Paratha Gali. Tested 6 different kind of parathas. Each one was tasty in its own way. Do not parcel. When it is cold, taste becomes same for all varieties.
Tried most of the stuff from the menu. Whenever I visit Delhi this is one mandatory place to go. Out of all the aloo, gobi, paneer and khoya are the most recommended. Mostly I prefer to hog on them with lassi and not the stuff being provided on the sides. Try it!
A Good place to have a lunch of paranthas. Made in clay pot in Desi Ghee. No refined Oil. Min price Parantha is 140 Rs/plate you will get two paranthas in each plate with Aloo ki sabji, pethe ki sabji, a banana sweet chutney and hari chutney. You can also try their Lassi but it is overpriced a bit 60 Rs/Cup. Have Fun
Tried mix paratha and rabri paratha for the 1st time and it was delicious. They accept only cash here so ensure to load yourself up before you visit Chandni Chowk.
Delhi 6. Parathe wali gali. Amazing place. Historic place. Amazing food. Been that place after 6 years. Still same old taste. Amazing thing about this place is i never had that much varirties of parathas never even seen at any other place. Best place to have parathas in old delhi
This review is for all the restaurants of this gali. They are serving deep fried stuffed pooris in the name of paratha. For atleast 140 per plate you get two small pooris. Taste is not that good plus seating arrangement is also very congested. This gali is overhyped just because some celebrities visited that too long time ago. Don't waste your money and time. Avoid this place.
Astonished. Certainly Very different to Taste the Variety of Paranthas.
Congested, Dirtiest Shop with lot of Flies where Personal Hygeine & Cleanliness of Staff (Scratching & Squeezing their Arm Pits & Genital Area and Handling the Food simultaneously). Horrible and Egregious Ambience & Experience.
Worst experience too costly and the taste is not as per the price. I request u to not waste your money instead you can try Moolchand paratha near Moolchand metro it's awesome and economical too.
Its an amazing place for paratha's. The stuff parathas are fried and served with 3 sabji and 2 chutneys.the must recommended ones are khurchan, lemon (if u love tangy taste) and aalu. Only problem is, the place is very congested and you always have to wait for 15-20mins for your turn.
This shop is run by the 6th generation and one kf the oldest shops in Parathe wali gali. I was excited to try the parathas as they serve a wide variety of parathas which include parathas of potato, paneer, cauliflower, tomato, chilli, cashewnuts, rabri etc. They serve the parathas with tamarind chutney (इमली चटनी), coriander chutney (धनिया चटनी), aalo matar, and pumpkin vegetable (कोहड़ा की सब्जी) Taste was good.
Ok types of place with okay types of hygiene. Unheard type of Variety of deep fried Paranthas. May find a bit expensive keeping in view the size of Paranthas but Good for one time visit to experience Paranthe Wali Gali.
One of the oldest shop in Parathe-Wali- Gali. The Pethe ki Sabji (Pumpkin), aaloo - matar and plain aaloo ki sabji, along with sweet and sour chutney.is really yummy, along with the Salad. Must try is the Dry fruit parantha. Also don't forget to sip a glass of Lassi
Wt else cn u expect frm a street shop in old delhi.awful service, fr me the food they served ws below average.never gonna visit tht place again coz it sucks fr me
I was always a little wary of visiting this place selling just pranthas, especially as they're deep fried, But having visiting today, made me change my opinion.they were really good, crisp and not too heavy. Prices were slightly on the higher side, but even 70 bucks for one isn't too much high. We sampled Gobi, Papad, Aalu, Green Chili's, Rabri. All were good and lip smacking. Must visit in my opinion.
One of the best restaurant in Paranthe Wali Gali which is already one of the 'visit-before-dying' places itself in Chandni Chowk. The usage of space in such tight area is just mind-boggling! Seeing the waiters squeeze n glide through the tight corners and narrow gaps b/w tables n deliver on time is just magical. Which reminds you of the food that is just impeccable in taste. The stuff you get here is very unique to the cook's style here which again it is known for.
Enjoyed it thoroughly, the food out here is tasty, delicious and especially Bhindi ka Paratha, Muli Paratha with a glass of mithi Lassi is a must. Go and try it ull love it
Just the hype of "paranthe wali gali". The food is not worth the price at all. You can have better meal at different places. Besides this the taste is ordinary!
Very tasty and cheap parathas, shop is established since 1872. Many famous personalities like Indira Gandhi has visited this place. Recommended parathas are Mirchi, Rabadi and mix. Lassi is also very good over here.
To be honest.didn't like this place anymore and food is also not As good as i heard about parathe wali gali.and quite expensive also.u cam get better food somewhere else than here.
Good place for trying a different type of paratha. It's all basically stuffed parathas that are deep fried in oil rather than tawa cooked. It's ok for a visit as the place or galli has been featured in many food channels. It can be a little challenging at times to get there especially if you have kids.
If you care for a variety of fried Parathas which are almost a century old famous and called to be one of the delicacy and a must try when you are in Chandni Chowk of Old delhi near Red fort, you must try at least one of the parathas in a small street with sitting for barely 20 people but with very fast movement. Its not only mouth watering but delicious and filling while it offers Parathas with almost anything you want! Even though they are fried in fresh and pure ghee, they are served dry with multiple variety of vegetables. Don't forget a Lass along with it, Yum!
Famous and old foodie place of delhi, parate wali gali, not a posh place but clean and hygenic. Limited space at gayaprasad, the paratas are deep fried type served with chatni and sabzi ie potato vegetable Curry, no curd, no onion or garlic, but tastes good. Area and reach not easy they hav contruction going on main road.
Yesss. The famous prantha wali gali in Chandni chowk. I tried paneer nd Gobhi prantha with aaloo sabji and pickle. They served different types of prantha. But I recommend Amrik Sukhdev dhaba for pranthas in Murthal.
