Good experience, went to watch tiger-3 with family, but the prices are too high for tickets and snacks as well, they are just looting their customers. They need to watch the prices, it's too costly to just simply watch a movie with family.
During my recent visit to PVR Plaza, Connaught Place, I faced an inconvenient situation regarding carrying a bag. Unfortunately, the cinema didn't allow bags, and there were no designated lockers. This policy was not only unfriendly but also quite disappointing.
Ticket Pricing and Screen Options: While the ambiance of PVR Plaza is commendable, the ticket prices seem relatively high, especially for 3D movies at ₹450. Despite the good screen size, there were limited options for movie selections, with only 2 or 3 movies playing at a time. The scarcity of Hollywood blockbusters was noticeable.
Food and Services: The food options at the cinema were limited, primarily offering popcorn and soft drinks. The inconvenience of being compelled to purchase a ₹150 coupon with every ticket purchase was a downside. The insistence on using UPI or cash at the food counter, despite initially claiming card machines were down, added to the overall mixed experience.
Waiting Area and Ambiance: The waiting area, though beautifully constructed, tends to get overcrowded just before entry time, especially between screen 1 and 2. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall vibe of PVR Plaza is enjoyable, providing a comfortable cinema experience.
Baggage Handling at Entrance: One significant drawback was the entrance policy prohibiting backpacks with no provision for storage. The lack of a counter to keep bags and the recommendation to deposit them at a local pan shop raised concerns. This contradicted the promise on booking platforms, like BookMyShow, stating that bags could be deposited at the cinema counter.
Conclusion: While the cinema experience at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place, offers a good ambiance and screening quality, the unfriendly baggage policy, limited movie options, and certain inconveniences in services could be areas for improvement. The recent visit highlighted the need for better adherence to stated policies and enhanced customer convenience.
The food counter manager insisted I do a UPI or cash. She kept insisting the credit card machines aren't working. Total 4 machines all down. When I said I have no cash, no UPI, then she switched on the machine and took it via card.
I was denied entry because I was carrying a laptop bag. If baggage is not allowed please provide with the lockers. Pathetic Unfriendly Policy…… If you are having such a policy please mention it on BOOKMYSHOW so somebody will not book or travel to the venue on the first place.
Very poor service. Rules are varied person to person. They allowed some person with bags while refused some persons. Moreover PVR employee tied up with local shops for commision on rent for putting the bags during the movie
PVR is known as movie theatre, but the way they treat while serving food while helping people to check thier seats, the aticates to talk to a person makes more happy and comfortable, however you can say most of the hotel even dint have such kind of hospitality services and such aticates. I do always recommend pvr plaza cp Delhi in terms of watching movies with safety cleaness hosting and more. And a special thanks to a girl name by Priyanka Kumari who helps a lot by representing her extra efforts by helping me in terms of purchasing ticket serving food with polite and adorable nature. Once again thanks PVR and to have a representative like her so that I get such a personal extremely good experience. Keep going good.
Im sure either you need to book a hotel to watch a movie in this theatre or you have to keep your bag at stake, really disappointed yesterday that I was not allowed for the show by the ticket booking staff because I had laptop bag. He told me to submit the bag somewhere and get ticket, I replied him that I'm not dying to see your theatre and walked away.
I think it is single screen the place is cramped if you are a fan of large screen you may be disappointed they have stalls as well in this small space, washroom has a big queue during intermission, over wall a space for 100-200 people at Max. Just watched Hrithik's movie there overall if the movie is good all works well centrally located near the Rajiv chowk metro in h block
I visit recently This movie theater is campers to another movie theater to so good fully a.c and place according tickets Price are I think little high price for middle class family's. Because I am visiting in national cenama day
1- Nice place to spend your evening 2- Good quality speaker system with surround sound 3- Nice and clean washrooms 4- Confortable seats with soft pillow rest.
I visited two times in pvr plaza. Both the movies I watch in this theatre are unforgettable in my life. In interval time you can take tea, coffee, cold drinks and other snacks inside pvr. 40%to 50%seats were empty in my both visits.good but expensive so if you have extra money in your pocket then go to pvr.
PVR is Good as the name has the Brand Value. But Little bit congested What I feel Truly. Overall Staff is good, E tickets, Serve on Seat. Everything is Good
The place is good and beautiful but the management is totally bad the are FORCED to buy chocolates in ticket counter when i asked them what is the reason they said that they have order from management and there is no bill for that
I like this PVR because the staff here was very Cooperative and the location of this PVR is very very suitable for anyone because it is nearest to the central point of Delhi Rajiv Chowk
I went there to watch Stree. I was fascinated by the good screen size and amazing quality of the movie. Anyways, movie was great which also lifted my spirits up. Overall, it was a nice experience. I am planning to go for a movie again as this is quite near to my office.
Cinema hall is good but food is not good PVR foods are bad and not good for health i went there for watch a movie and i ordered food like pizza and burger but the quality of food is not that much good I'm suggesting everyone to not eat food from the pvr cinemas always eat in good restaurants.
Of the best multiplex in the city With 3D & 4K Viewing. Comfortable seating. Great sound system. Lot of parking available. Very Efficient staff. Good place to hangout with mates, friends, family etc. JUST LOVED IT! Thanks @pvrcinemas.)
The rating is only because of location, totally central and as accessible as it gets, and the fragrance inside the audi. Otherwise, this is a somewhat outdated cinema. And a renovation is surely overdue. There were stains on the carpet. And the red seats had become quite dull; blackish.
A location, settlement, or populated place is likely to have a well-defined name but a boundary which is not well defined in varies by context. London, for instance, has a legal boundary, but this is unlikely to completely match with general usage. An area within a town, such as Covent Garden in London, also almost always has some ambiguity as to its extent.
One of the nicest and oldest cinema Hall in the heart of Delhi. Watch a movie and shop around the shops here and make your day totally amazing. Surrounded by some great restaurants, this place is where you wanna go to have a great time on a winter afternoon. Love this place so much.
This PVR out here is very very famous, because it’s so centrally located.
Once inside, the place is absolutely clean the staff too is very courteous.
But when it comes to movie watching experience, the first thing which anyone would see would be comfort. The seats somehow don’t feel very comfortable. And certainly not for a movie ticket of Rs 400. At that price, the first thing I’d want would be comfortable seats. Unfortunately this Pvr gives you everything else, other than comfort.
This might be a personal opinion but none of the people in our group appreciated the seating comfort.
