Rail Bhawan

Ministry of railways is setup here in Rail Bhawan. It is near by parliament House and metro station is central Secretariat. This is the office of Shri Ashwani Vashnav, Railway Minister and chief executive officer of Railways.

Looks like part of new parliament building. New engine has been replaced with new generation against old ethnic one

Went there for my retired fathers form 16 in SBI bank Rail bhawan branch. Saw this updated rail engine standing in front of the Rail Bhawan. Bohot puraani yaadein hain Rail Bhawan se.jab bhi jaoo, ek Respect wali feeling aati hai, kyun naa aaye " Rail bhawan is the backbone of the mighty Indian Railways".

Indian Railways is Heart of Indian transport and travel system. In the same way Rail Bhawan is the heart of Indian Railways' working and operationalism. A great example of architecture and well manged office. It is situated near India Gate and just near to Vayu Bhawan (Air Force HQ). It has seperate office for different works of railways and it is five storey building having canteen at 3rd and at ground floor and it has differnt sections for differnt works related to proper functioning of Indian Railways. Rail minister and other dignitaries of Indian Railways have their offices at Rail Bhawan. Altogether, it was a good experience by visting Rail Bhawan.

Rail Bhavan is the headquarters of the Indian Railways. It is located at Raisina Road,  New Delhi, near the Sansad Bhavan  (Parliament House).

The Office of Minister of Railways Shri Piyush Goyal,  MoSR Shri Suresh C. Angadi is in the Rail Bhavan, along with the Railway Board, comprising 7 members headed by Chairman Railway Board. Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav. The Railway Board manages the functioning and operation of the 17 zonal railways, which includes the newly created zone of Kolkata Metro.

It is a policy making body.

A place which is situated at the heart of the national capital region and just a walking distance from the Central Secretariat metro station, this place serves as the backbone of the country commutation I.e Indian Railways which carries nearly 3 crore passengers daily through its 14000 local, suburban, mail and express trains
This place houses most of the Railway boards members and Ministry and staff responsible for making travel better, it could have been better if they start working more robustly to address public grievance and ease of travel

Rail Bhavan is located in central secreteriate area, New Delhi. Other than employee, visitor has to get entry pass to go to building. It is main administrative office for Railways in India. Many secretary, Chief Engineers and many other officers are seating here. Near the main entrance, small locomotive rail engine is placed. In the various passages, different photographs of railway are displayed.

The railways are worst this train kept on going delayed and is now running late by 4 hours. Why not punctuality is been maintained by the railways. We pay for the base fares we pay for even superfast charge i dont understand why u take superfast charges from us when this super fast train has to run at the speed of local trains.

Mostly Staffs are politely and well behaviour. Amazing architecture of building with cleanness.

Very bad experience, & not monitored Rly Station, & Train. Salogen & Advertising so good, good time are coming, but results are Just opposite.its my pleasure. Thanks.

Sir I see the news that lot of our premium trains are stone pelted causing damages to govt and public.
I as a pro nationalist citizen feel very saddened at this.
I suggest why can't we permanently fit the railway enhines and coaches with CCTV cameras so that any kind of nuisance can be caught and severely pubished

This beautiful building facing in front of Rajpath and back at Raisina Hill is the Headquarter of the Indian Railway which is the lifeline of Indian People. It is located near the Sansad Bhawan (Parliament House) and provides a panoramic view of the Rajpath and Raisina Hill. Minister of Railway along with Seven Members of Railway Board use to sit here and plan, formulate and implement the policies related with Railways throughout the India, as stated in Wikipedia. All Seventeen Railway Zone are subject to reporting here and are monitored from this place. This is nicely connected with the Central Secretariat Metro Station which falls on Yellow and Violet Line of Delhi Metro.

The Minister of Railways Sri Piyush Goyal sits in the Rail Bhavan, along with the Railway Board, comprising 7 members. The head is known as Chairman Railway Board which is currently presided by Aswin lohani who took over from Mr.  A. K. Mittal in August 2017. The Railway Board manages the functioning and operation of the 17 zonal railways, which includes the newly created zone of Kolkata Metro by Mamata Banerjee who was the former Minister of Railways and current Chief Minister of West Bengal.

It is indeed a pride place to work at. IR generates second highest revenues for India and it provides the highest job opportunities for Indian youth. India's Rail rout network is biggest network in the world. Every Indian feel proud of it. ThanksThree Congrates for IR.

The headquarter's of the ministry of the railway. Many officers are worked here. Railway schedule and other part are there done by officers. Very nice and peaceful area. It is nearby central secretariat metro station gate no. 1. Just next starting the region of president house of India.

A central government office situated in New Delhi. The office is work for railway department of Indian government. Minister of railway, GM of railway zones are come here for meeting and work purposes.

Heaven for Railway personnel. Administrative and policy making done here. Minister, Chairman and all higher level officer sit here.
