It looks Rajiv Gandhi Cancer hospital has lost its track to serve the people and now very much money oriented, ICU doctor fights with patients and tell them they can cancer. This incident happened with me my father was admitted in RGCIRC rohini, he was doing well in ward but Dr Ullash Batra wanted him to move to ICU, knowing that he can not do anything additional which he was doing in ward. He along with staff wanted to make money by keeping payment in ICU they do not listen or note the problem of patients and handle patients very badly, even they do not bother to inform the attendent if patient say something or wants his family member to say something. There are very good doctors like Dr Shivendra Singh is also there who talk and communicate properly it his parents.
This hospital is going in wrong direction and some greedy doctor like Dr Ullash Batra who is helping hospital to earn huge money is spoiling it's reputation.

Consulting for my mother here since 2021. Have visited many times in this hospital everytime I had to face one or the other issues be it receptionists instead of listening and resolveing they are ready to relaliate and fight.
Even after complains to senior officer issues remains.
At the time of discharging the patient they do not know how to write correct discharge summary.
Even after upfront booking the injection prior to hospitalisation they will not make arrangements and you keep on waiting lying on the bed.

Finally I have decided to move to another hospital.

Worst experience.

I felt cheated when junior doctor was taking OPD in the name of main doctor (Dr Ajay Sharma). Took appointment for Dr Ajay, spent 3hrs in waiting and came to know Dr don't come on Saturday. Instead junior Dr taking OPD. Why the hospital giving appointment for Dr when they are on leave. Simply waste of time, money and trust.

Horrible experience!

While the minimum you expect from critical care hospital like this is responsible treatment but what you get eventually is sub par medical professionals

They don’t understand the patient fitness and case history but provide intolerable treatment which succumbs them to medication rather than disease itself

Unfortunately their treatment kills more than the disease itself

Biggest problem is irresponsible nature of doctors who are very casual in their approach and consider patients as their liability

Critical patients are left on mercy of junior doctors who lack the ability to identify the critical nature of patients and provide any timely treatment

While attendant try to pursue doctors to get timely examination of critical patients admitted for chemo, doctors are busy with their own hidden agendas

Support staff is equally pathetic, they force senior citizens to clean the patients near by spaces citing that they are only liable to clean the patient bed not adjoining areas

Although the patients who are coming here may not see these reviews to make decisions but if you have opportunities to get treatment somewhere else please have a second opinion and try to avoid this place for the good of you and your family

Treatment may kill than disease itself

Very unprofessional, careless and least concern for patients. My mother was undergoing chemotherapy there. Every time her condition deteriorated, the doctor just said that is normal and continued with next cycle. At last she couldn’t take anymore and succumbed to chemo on 2nd May.
Her condition first got critical on 30th April but there was no doctor to attend to her because it was a Sunday! I don’t understand how such a hospital which is full of critical patients go on a leave on Sunday? Surely there should be some dr available but they didn’t take my father’s concern seriously. Ultimately on 1st May they admitted her to ICU where she passed away quietly on Tuesday morning. We couldn’t even see her last time, just they informed that your patient has expired! No care, no sympathy, no empathy at all. The concerned doctor and his juniors didn’t even show up and still they had the nerve to put the visiting charges on the last bill. Means I can’t even begin to comprehend the total loss of basic courtesy and human emotions.
Special mention of Dr Vineet Talwar who is the director at the hospital and was so busy that even though he was the concerned doctor, never showed up to see his patient. His juniors came and just said the same thing everytime, "it's just normal side effects she's experiencing. " And the visiting charges we paid were for the senior dr who never showed his face.
I will never recommend this hospital to anyone. Instead go to some smaller establishment, where at least the doctor considers the patient as a responsibility and not just a job.

If I could, I would've given negative stars to this hospital! This is supposed to be a Cancer hospital where the paramount important thing should be empathy and a proper way of talking but that is what is lacking right from the entrance of this hospital. The patients and attendants are already sad/Hassled and just need someone to talk properly with them. I met right from Security Guard to AGM Billing and everyone has an attitude as if they are doing a favour to the patients. The whole hospital has worst attitude than even a Government hospital. These people need serious training on how to handle patients/attendants empathetically.

Literally slower than a turtle a report promised to show in 2hrs is given many hrs later. Everyone wants money for their own delay. Anyone if bothers to watch this review should know this hospital is not as good as it claims. Beware!

People whoever takes the call are horrible they won't even listen or let you finish whatever you are saying I tried to speak to the lady on the phone twice but she rudely disconnected the call without even letting me finish my query. I was calling internationally, and they don't even have a courtesy to politely guide you or patiently listen to you.

Hospital calls itself not for profit. Doesn't seem like it. If not more it's equally costly as any reputed private hospital. Doctors are learned.

Have never been satisfied in any of the visit. I have my patient in emergency in mid night.have been asked to wait for the doctor till morning 8: 30 and then till 10 when doctor did not visit the emergency ward i went to see for the doctor in OPD.and he was busy with his OPD. What does emergency means then?

The lung cancer awareness program which was held on 26 November 2022 was very informative and the food was amazing.

The hospital service is costly, equal to private service. I don't understand why they have donation options when they let patients pay such heavy amount.

I had a horrible experience here. Receptionist is way too rude here < Upasana Kalra >She don’t even know how to talk professionally with the clients. Plus the person who is responsible for international patients. He is again a unprofessional person. He talked so rudely and was yelling at us. This hospital should work on their staff and take it seriously.

I was the primary caregiver for my aunt who sought treatment in 2021. Everyone recommended this hospital so we assumed it's the best in India. The staff and nurses are OK, and the doctor treating us was Dr Vineet Talwar. He was pretty cordial and patient during the first appointment but after that he barely saw us- we were mostly assigned to his juniors, Dr Varun Grover and someone named Dr Ram, I think. Dr Grover was amazing and he seemed to be the only one who actually seemed to care. He didn't seem annoyed with my questions and took the time to respond with empathy. Dr Talwar 'must' be highly qualified but he was pretty disrespectful when it came to answering questions about the patient. Everytime I asked him something about the treatment, he would answer by enquiring about my weight. After spending ton of money (almost 2 lakh a month) over a period of 9 months, the patient left us. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone. Please do your research and seek out hospitals and doctor's that actually care about the patients.

I am regular attended of my cousin since 2 year everything is going well but today I visit Dr pankaj goyel (medical oncology) He is very rude and misbehaving with me and patient and talking manner of this Dr is very bad he told me that " Tu jyada oversmart ban raha h kya " And many more word using such language that is not acceptable for anyone so i request to hospital authority to take necessary action

Staff at the reception is not responsive at all, you continue calling them at a stretch no one will answer your call and even if they answer your call don't expect anu resolution from them. Untrained and unprofessional reception staff

Very Poor and illogical management.
They won't let the patient go without clearing bill.
Even though in my case, security deposit was more than bill amount (i.e, i mwas to receive the return amount), they won't remove the intravenous canula and drips. So inhumane.

I was diagnosed with lung cancer, and my doctor suggested my case to Dr Doval. Now, I feel that was a good move because the treatment I received was extremely effective. I am thankful to the team at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre for providing me with the best treatment.

Dr D. C. Doval is undoubtedly the best surgical oncologist in India. His focus on treatment and his ability to explain things in a way I could understand was of big help, even when I was scared about how far the disease would go. The doctors and staff at the hospital are caring, and I'm thankful for their assistance and support.

One of the best oncologists in Delhi. Quality of care was excellent. We were referred by our family friend - Doctors, are very humble human beings, who operated upon my mother for Whipple surgery. They understand the mindset of the patient and clarify all their doubts. Following her advice helped me keep calm through the regular checkup. Doctor’s guided us during every checkup visit and gave me complete confidence.

Last year, when covid was at its peak, my uncle was admitted in the RGCIRC hospital with cancer disease. It was amazing to see the staff and doctors helping their patient in recovering from the deadly disease. They are helping the patient and outsiders with the neuro oncology treatment and pump them to live more.

Telemedicines are getting more popular among hospitals with the day by day update. Here are some benefits I personally believes that Telemedicine service has:

• You can treat patient from anywhere

• helps in reducing travel expenses or save time

• Less interference with child or elder care responsibilities

• No exposure to other potentially contagious patients like COVID-19 infected person

A very unprofessional and incompetent hospital. Dr Summit Goyal is person in charge of Chemo. His behaviour and response to medical emergency was pathetic. Made lame excuse for not treating patient and discharged. Same patient got treatment at Jaslok hospital Mumbai. Stay away!

There are generating unnecessary bills if you have insurance policy.
In my case, for surgery - Doctor said that they will charge 90K total amount but after they got to know that we have insurance policy they immediately raised amount 1.70Lakh. This is very unprofessional and unethical. I would like to report this to higher authority to take my point into consideration. I would like to know if my father's health is in proper hand or not.

Now I am scared should I continue my father's treatment in Rajiv Cancer hospital. If Rajiv Gandhi is government hospital, how it is helping us?

Just willing to generate bills, no concern about patient health. When they knew patient health is not good and not able to survive but insisting for high value therapies. In my case it was Saturday and approval of medicine was to come on Monday and dr was continously asking for confirmation/approval when he came to knew that approval is not coming dr asked us that patient won't survive and ask him to take at other hospital. If he knew patient won't survive why insisting for such therapies.
Worst is the finance team at niti bagh not willing to accept insurance, rejected the approval received from insurance team, always willing to accept cash. Worst is there attitude towards patients family.

Visited RGCIRC when one of my business colleagues was admitted here. I was dazzled by the high-quality of service here. Besides providing precise care to patients, an updated team of individuals were handling each new visitor. Proper management and updated modern treatment could be of great use to cancer patients. Will definitely recommend it to my friends!

My friend was undertaking his treatment for intestine cancer which was in a very initial stage. A very critical surgery was performed where they cut the cancer-affected intestine. The hospital used the latest technology, and the doctors were well experienced, my friend has recovered and is all hail and hearty now.

I highly recommend this hospital for people who are looking for cancer treatment. I was diagnosed with intestine cancer and had to undergo surgery to remove it. The doctors had all the patience to explain me the process step by step. The staff was very helpful and kind.

They have a very friendly behavior my grandma never felt bored or feared.they always laugh her.hospital is very clean and a canteen is also there in which the food is not really tasty but is sutible for patients.a parking area is also and a lawn also.you will get a home like environment.
Love this place and I highly recommend you to go there.

They steal your money and kill your loved ones.
My Mother diagnosed with CA Breast (Breast Cancer).
They operated it. They did 6 cycles of chemotherapy without necessity.
My Mother got routine checkup in every 3 months.
In September 2017, My mom got routine checkup. All clear.in October 2017 she got cancer in brain, Lungs and Lumber. My mom died of metastatic cancer in June 2018.
What were these cheap shopkeepers (so called Doctors) doing in checkup?
Doctor D. C. Doval, Kumardeep, Gupta all are arogent.
Shame on you people.
The real money for a family is its members.

Neat and clean hospital.staff seems polite ready to help. But Doctors recommend unnecessary test.

Doctor team of radiotherapy and chemotherapy statements are contradictory to each other's. Doctors did all these tests like PET scan, barium study xRay, esophageal and lungs endoscopy and CT scan guided FNAC lungs biopsy and all these tests came negative.but yet doctors could not confirm the diagnosis. Again they want to do another test i.e. Bronchoscopy + biopsy. Today is 23rd day of our visit but no clue what's to be done next, though Doctors perhaps already knew whats to be done.but again another test prescribed. The point was raised by us to them "what are the reasons that these undergone tests were recommended even if they were not as trustworthy and implied / or result into another expensive test". If next test after another shall confirm the result then Couldn't be the best to get that kind of test done which is much more reliable and helps in deciding a treatment plan, rather than wasting time and health". It's Kinda shocking to hear their reply -> "Sir, its standard.we can't deviate". Inexperienced and pathetic doctors team with expensive medical services [Spent around 1.2 lacs only in 4 tests within 23 days. ]

Dont know about others but ours is Very worst experience so far.

Biopsy seems easy for doctor that's why they can suggest multiple times.but heart patient knows the pain and difficulty. All these inexperienced doctors are money making machine, apparently following the Hospitals objective to level a target.

Please note, this is all about our own experience of 23 days suffering. Yours might differ.

Worst hospital ever kehne ko to ye private hai par their employee are just similar to village goverment employee. My mother had admitted there for her treatment she has bladder cancer was not getting perfect treatment. Its nurses are of learner thats means quite danger to any patient they never know how to put cannula in vein IDHAR UDHAR SUEE MARNE LAGTE HAI they have some good perfect nurses but 1 to 2 nurses are worst like i suggest the name "VANDANA SISTER", "ANKANCHA SISTER" they are too dangerous vandana dont have sophistication like dont know how to talk treat and manage patients main yehi sab is liye nae keh raha ki meri inse koi dusmani hai but vandana treated my mom in shouting way thats was not really UNFORGIVABLE thats it if you are coming for your loved one's treatment please dont come here hum sab pachta rahe hai SAB EMPLYOEE LEARNER HAI
