The course really helped me a lot. In rau's coaching we get one additional year support in QIP course which you don't get in other coaching classes

The teaching experience was really good. Very student centric and queries and doubts are solved even after class hours.

Honestly, poorest one.
In this while some institutions provide library facility.
This institute revoked its such facility.
I will reccomend not to join it since all best teachers have already left. Only a best job what it is doing is providing well drinking water facility.
Some people in studyzone are not well supporting.

Iam a VETERINARY DOCTOR from GUNTUR, ANDHRA PRADESH. Iam from MEDICAL SCIENCES background graduate, I want to achieve top rank in UPSC CSE in which most of the syllabus is from ARTS background but I have strength in my optional paper which is AH& VS I, 2. So I started a research about which institute had a BETTER FACULTY for "GEOGRAPHY & HISTORY", because I DIDN'T HAVE ANY BASICS in these subjects which are the core pillars of the syllabus, inseperable subjects but I have some knowledge in POLITY &ECONOMY which I learnt from youtube videos during my Internship period.later on I got to know Delhi is better choice from Bangalore in faculty wise but Iam unable to adopt bcz of 1.delhi pollution, 2. High cost of living which is higher than TAMPA OF SOUTH FLORIDA where my sister lives. So I decided to take # ONLINE Course FROM DELHI. Secondly, Iam a typical SOUTH INDIAN PERSON, A NON - HINDI SPEAKER, NOT FROM A HINDI HEARTLAND AREA BELT, SO I WANT ENGLISH SPEAKING FACULTY INSTITUTE who had good online portal. Finally I choose and joined Raus ias delhi online course in August, till now it is good in History by Mathimaran Raju sir & Kirthika K mam and world geography by Vineeth sir as I expected, I will share my remaining experience after I achieve my GOAL. So I suggest you, KNOW YOUR DRAWBACKS AND STRENGTH of the syllabus, LATER CHOOSE the Institute which Helps you to OVERCOME the Drawbacks. In this way I choose Raus ias delhi. Raus focus magzine is so good. ANALYSE & PREPARE.

I am in a recent online batch of Raus. I'd like to share that the online courses are equally as good as the offline ones. All teachers pay equal attention to student's doubts and no one feels left out. Recently we completed our Modern India syllabus and Mathi sir is an amazing teacher. His completion of topics are followed by practice questions. He takes one answer writing session wherein he makes the students write answers based on pyqs. He also guides how to improve our answers. The last two days of his classes were answer writing sessions only and most of us got to learn a lot. Especially that we are capable of writing better answers than that given on other websites. Mathi sir's notes are also arranged in a very sequential manner and it makes history easier to study. His notes are something one can revise a day before exams.

Hi I am a Raus GS + Optional History live online batch student. There are excellent teachers like Mathimaran Sir (Modern History), Kirthika Ma'am (Ancient, Medieval History), Shobik sir (ethics), Vineet Sir (Geography). Mathimaran sir teaches history like a very interesting story, so it is enjoyable and fun learning with various anecdotes. The quality of notes and handouts is sufficient for a good answer writing. Doubts are cleared within the class itself and there is a seperate answer writing session. All in all it is a good learning experience with concept clarity.

I would like to thank RAU'S IAS study circle for supporting and guiding at every stage of my preparation. Faculties are understanding and supporting. And yes, Govind sir at Book Store always ensure material availability on time and always supporting students, which is crutial in preparation.

I am a History Optionals student from 2021 Batch under Kritika Ma’am. She exemplifies the ideal History guide and mentor for Mains Optional preparation. The notes that she made us prepare+write during the lectures are a one stop solution. You pick up 1979-2021 Previous Year Questions for say IVC and you can solve every bit of it with her Ancient Notes. Ma’am gave me a lucid understanding of chronology and timelines with comparative and critical analysis of major events with her lectures. She gives great pointers for answer writing and unmatched mentorship.
Nevertheless, Guru shows us the path, its us who have to walk on it.

Hi, iam a GS + optional live online batch student here, iam very much interested and passionated by history faculties Mathimaran sir, the way he teaches will go into your mind, doubt clearation and explanation of amswerting how to prepare are the best thing about him, And Kirthika mam yes she is Modern Day Saraswathi whatever she tells it will ring in your mind forever, when u stuck at point mam voice will come from inside every time, iam lucky that they are my optional faculty too, they are the best teachers i ever seen in my life.

Overall, a good institute to study at. Have got the best teachers for Economics (Basava sir) and Modern History (M. Raju sir). Mathimaran Raju sir teaches Modern History like a waterfall where the story, the events flow from their tip to their end, in the perfect order. History had never been so interesting to hear.

I am currently a student at Rau's, and extremely happy with my decision for choosing the institute. They've got especially an excellent faculty for History.

Mathimaran Sir and Kirthaka ma'am have made
one of the most feared subjects (at least for me) easy and fun to study.

They've both got different styles of teaching, but they teach in a very systematic and lucid manner. The classes don't feel like classes in real sense with their funny stories (and side stories) - which not only keeps our mind from going off track, but also helps us in remembering the voluminous facts that we're supposed to.

They've got a magical touch.

I am a History Optional student from 2021 batch under Kirthika Ma'am. She is one of the best teacher that I ever had till date. The way she explains each and every topic is just beyond any comparison. The effort she takes for her students is really appreciable. However hard the topic may be, but once you attend Ma'am's classes, then you are not gonna forget that topic in rest of your life. After attending Ma'am's classes only I decided to join Rau's IAS for GS classes. I am blessed to have her as my optional teacher. As A. P. J Abdul Kalam Sir said, " Teachers are the backbone of any country, the pillar upon which all aspirations are converted into realities", I thank God almighty to bring a teacher like Kirthika Ma'am into my life, the pillar who convert thousands of aspirations into realities.

I just had a conversation with an employee at Ray's to enquire about a course. The person was very rude. You lost a student. I didn't even want to give a single star. I hope the institute would note this issue.

Faculty of Rau'sIAS encourages each student to accomplish their dream of clearing ias exam

My initial experience is so bad so what should I expect for the faculty’s behaviour their counsellors are so high on air what should I expect from the teachers who are teaching in the institute…. Counsellors work is to convince the students not to bypass to go and see info somewhere else

Went in there to enquire about the Mains Test Series for 2022. The reception doesn't look like one and you'll be left clueless as to whom to approach in that hall sprinkled with tables.
The 'counsellors' (or atleast the one whom I met) was extremely rude and had no sense of talking.
He didn't know anything more than what the site already said (that too very feebly) and he even remarked as to how we should have seen the website for details. (Of course we saw the site you dimwi, we were there to know more about the tests).
He then asked to write a mail to Raus IAS about how difficult it is to locate the reception. Look, I went in to talk about Test Series and not for acting as an interior design advisor.

Horrible experience, just enough to make me not choose the institute for the course, since this attitude might be prevalent throughout the institute.

They don't know where they are located in Karol bagh or old Rajendra Nagar how they teach
Dud don't judge a book by its cover.

I called in Rau's ias councellor's behaviour is very bad not giving councelling and so much attitude they denied for giving councelling and saying you can see all the things on website.

Honestly the worst coaching for economics I came across. Even when I have some background from economics still was not able to understand a thing taught in class. I doubt faculty even knows economics. He teaches from ppt shared by him and believe me if you read from that forget upsc, you won't be able to clear your college exams. He won't teach anything conceptual but only repeats what is written in ppt. Never taught any numerical in class and once a student asked him to take numerical, he straight away denied by saying" You want me to do addition multiplication in class, I won't do it" Seriously if you wish to waste your precious time and never clear your exam only then join here. As a matter of fact I realized only students who already know economics are able to understand what is taught in class. With that you can understand the level of teaching.

Very nice faculty. Short batch strength. Good focus magazine. Availabilty of staff. Everything is excellent. Worth for ur money. (online classes from delhi). I dont know about offline centres in jaipur and banglore.

The faculty is really great! They take time to respond to doubts, answer e-learn or e-mail queries promptly, and are more than happy to give advice or reading suggestions.

On the other hand, the management can be slow and a bit unprofessional. The deliveries can take upto a month or even later (even as other institutes and amazon deliveries worked fine in the pandemic) and the admissions counsellor was quite rude. The classes can also exceed the stated 100-some limit and the e-learn platform is poor on UI/UX (clogged with ads, maze of subfolders, irrelevant notifications).

Yet, over all, I'm pleased – if only because of the hard-working and inspiring faculty.

I joined Rau’s IAS Delhi branch for sociology optional preparation on my friend’s recommendation. I am happy that I made this decision as Surinder Sir is the best teacher of sociology, he explains every topic analytically and always solves queries asap, happy to be here

I was searching for the best faculty for geography optional and in this process I started watching videos of various geography optional faculty on YouTube. Finally my search came to an end after watching Niraj Sir's video on Rau's IAS you tube channel. He is a wonderful teacher.

I am from MP and have joined the online course by Rau's IAS. Economics always seem tough to be but J C Sharma Sir is the best teacher for the subject. I am amazed that if he could make the online sessions so much interactive and interesting then how much fun it will be to study from him in the offline mode.

Not worth the fees. Though monthly focus magazines are good but it is just what you will get in CSR, Lucent, PD etc.

Focus on mains examination is less here.

However you might take up the subject master classes where only one subject is taught.

Pub ad coaching at Raus Delhi is soo pathetic.
I and my friends joined 2019 November batch and it now that we have realised how badly we are skrewed. Dr. Manoj Sharma is taking pub ad Delhi centre. He made us realise that public administration is best during our GS class and criticised other optionals by saying that it is the time period of pubad our syllabus was completed (doing 3-4 UNITS in one day, that too orally), infact the topics that sir claims to be completed are not even 10% of what is required for optional. All the time in classes was wasted by sir in clearing baseless, useless topic (chit chat) of one student, whose only motive was to disturb the class and waste the time.
It is only now when we are reading from books and other coaching material, we are realising how we have been fooled, how we have wasted our hard earned money on nothing.
I would recommend to not join Public administration optional at Raus specially at Delhi.

Atlast I just wanted to say that Manoj sir please take coaching of public administration from some good coaching institute and then teach. No doubt sir you are good in governance but public administration teaching is out of your league. You wasted my time, money, energy i trusted you blindly but you made us fool.

One of the most sought after coaching centres for Civil Services, situated in the heart of Delhi only a stone's through from the CP. Rau's have a very strong faculty of expert teachers of most of the subjects. During lockdown the faculty switched to online mode swiftly and served its students seamlessly.
Rau's also provides huge volumes of printed study material.

My cousin is recommended me to go through the
question answer practice videos for ias mains.
These videos have been a great help for me.

My brother have recently taken admission in Rau's IAS GSI- Hybrid online course and he is very much satisfied from the course, his faculties are offering him personal attention and on the regular basis all his doubts are being cleared in the class as well as he have the access of his faculty, so whenever he is stuck in his preparations he can get them solved immediately because of which he can continue his ias preparations online flawlesslessly.

I would suggest all my friends who are appearing for the IAS mains exams to go through their UPSC mains answer writing discussion video's. They are outstanding!

Sometimes Raus economics teacher seems like still he is teaching 12th class students.change economics faculty it's not for upsc like exams.even my banking and finance 12th class teacher was better than him.in some batches 12th class students are there it's very difficult to cope up with it.seriously at least maintain batch standard.

My frnds and I have registered for Raus Pre Pareekshan 2020.let's see how much prepared we are for our upsc prelims exam.

I don't know about the gs but I say that pub ad is quite pathetic here, the teacher comes late everyday! Notes are sub standards when compared to other institute giving pub ad coaching.syllabus walks at snail speed and at last will give few printed notes to cover the rest. Always going off topics and discussing irrelevant stuff don't waste money by going here for pub ad better join others.

A good place to start your journey of UPSC preparation. The batches are small and teachers approachable. Due to the small size of the batches it easy to converse with the teachers.

Rau’s is the only IAS institute which offers teachers handmade notes as the study material to its students.

Best place to prepare for IAS exams because all the topics are covered and the teachers are always available for doubt clearing.

I was forced to take admission in raus delhi branch my prelim preparation by my father, but after giving prelim in 2019, i m happy thqt i did my preparation from raus as i m confident enough to clear prelim this yr

I went through the preparatory strategies of Rau’s toppers on their YouTube channel, they are very inspiring and portrays the perfect strategies to clear the ias exams.

Rau’s Delhi is the top-rated ias institute because it possess more than 64 years of expertise in training IAS aspirants.

Registered Student (2018 - 2019).

Krithika Mam (Ancient & Modern History), Dr. K. Kaushik Sir (Life Sciences & Environment), Manoj Sharma Sir and Soubhik Sen Sir (Ethics and Integrity) etc.are few of the best faculties one might come across here. The faculty might be shuffled but one can easily approach the management if some issue occurs.

The class tests were a bit irregular initially (but proper mock tests are as expected) ; QIP Programme would help immensely to the appearing batches.

PS - Any coaching would expect the students to do a bit of homework and pre- requisite study for understanding the concepts in class (and some redundant topics might be left for students to read by themselves) ; yet many teachers do spoon-feed.

They make fool and engage you with lots of promises.except 2 or 3 faculties none are reliable.
They hardly will complete syllabus and will leave you mid way without any hope. And it takes hell effort to make them realize and it takes a lot of effort for them their side too to accept their mistske and provide extra classes. Our syllabus was not completed and when we told them, they cross counteted by saying you had missed the classes. Moreover on repeated pressure they do gave xtra class just for 1 day 5-6 hours of that very subject which they teach for around 70hours.
They are highly highly highly professional. No respect for student, no empathy. All they just need is money. You can see the change in their atttitude before and after you paid them lakhs.
With batches they experiment with the teachers & that to with core subjects and hardly pay heed to what student say then.
Atleast for weekday they have regular test series as and when a subject is completed but for weekend batch nothing.although at the time of joining they told there will be regular test as and when subjects are completed.
So I am HIGHLY DIS-SATISFIED.and CANNOT RECOMMEND Rao's to anyone now.
I realized late and had left with no option to change else would have done in the first step.
Claims, Promises all are to attract students, fool them and generate profit and buy top model of mercedese and audis and we get at the end is just balls.
Rest is you choise. India is a democracy and I am using my Fundamental Right.

FOCUS is the best magazine for preparing the current affairs which is published on the monthly basis.

Raus is a disgusting place to enroll for civil
Services preparation.
Does not have professional ethics.
Most of the cources r incomplete and qualitatively poor.
I was a student here and i have my enrolment fees receipt to.
And i have class notes too.
If any one have doubt can see the poor and incomplete quality of their printed and class notes.

Rau’s always provides updated and compact study material for prelims, mains and current affairs papers. So, I would suggest all the ias aspirants to prepare ias exams from the study material of Rau’s IAS.

All the faculty members of Rau’s are knowledgeable, subject matter expert and very much experienced.

Really good centre the faculty of Rau’s is very experienced and subject matter expert. Individual attention is provided to each and every student.
