Just make sure you have photocopy of required documents and also keep a print out of your appointment.

Services being provided by Passport Office were very satisfying. You are nor troubled a lot. You have to stand in 2 rows for small period and sit in front of 2 officers to complete the complete process. Please remember to carry all related documents both Orignal & Photocopies. You can apply for Normal as well as Tatkaa variants.

There behaviour is awful, they treat you like u r nothing in front of them, and services also very bad

Very unprofessional staff.especially C desk granting officer because of him I have to make 2 extra visits as on first visit all my documents were verified and approved at counter A & B but counter C officer were on call all the time talking to his Mrs.and he granted the passport and told me that it's done. But to my surprise I received a mail 3 hours later stating that my application is on hold.no reason was mentioned.i made a 2nd visit and that stupid granting officer told me that he forgot that has he cross checked my documents with the originals or not as he was on call yesterday, I was so angry but what to do these Babu are dharti pe bojh. For their negligence we have to suffer. Another battle is to get police verification done.they just don't want to do it without having "Chai Pani ka kharcha" even if you have all the documents in line. Sarkari tantra hi sabse jyada corrupt aur unapologetically unprofessional hai. Educated civilians ke saath ye esa karte hai to socho unknowledgeable aur simple civilians ke saath kya karte honge.

Mixed experience although got passport approval in 2 visits to the office but at the time of Police verification the officer unnecessarily tried to raise the issue despite the fact that all the documents were correct and only after satisfaction of passport office I have been granted passport but the police department don't work like that. Got my passport but after a bit of struggle with the Police verification officer. He was not true to his job.

Don’t understand the meaning of booking a appointment when you have to stand in the queue (whoever comes first get the first service) at counter 14.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the passport office, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional customer service. The staff's behaviour was truly remarkable; they were polite and courteous and went out of their way to ensure that all my queries were answered.

The procedure and documents required for the application were explained to me in detail, leaving no room for confusion. The staff was very knowledgeable and took the time to ensure that I understood everything before proceeding with my application. The process was flawlessly executed, and I was able to complete my application without any hassle.

What impressed me the most was how kid-friendly the staff was. They were patient with my children and even helped keep them entertained while I completed my application. This made the entire experience so much easier for me as a parent.

Overall, I highly recommend the passport office for anyone looking to apply for a passport. The staff behaviour is exemplary, the procedures and documents are on point, and the process is flawless. The staff is very accommodating and goes above and beyond to ensure that their customers are satisfied. These people don't pick up the telephone I tried to contact them from 4 different numbers still they didn't answer. When I visited the centre they didn't explain me the situation that why my passport is not being dispatch these people don't know how to talk to someone very rude behaviour I hated it so much will never visit here again.

It was a good experience. The office is jointly managed by the MEA and TCS team.
The office opens at 9 am. I reached over there at 8 am, so the parking lot was empty at that time. By the time it was 9, the space was full of cars as it was the office opening timing for many govt offices in that lane.
The parking guy charged me about ₹40/hr for the car. I assume for 2 wheelers they charge about ₹20/hr.
So confirm with him for charges prior to parking. They will give u a printout slip for your parking.

DO REMEMBER TO TAKE YOUR PHOTOCOPIES PRIOR COMING TO THE PASSPORT CENTRE, ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE A PHOTOCOPY MACHINE INSIDE THE OFFICE, BUT THAT PERSON COMES AT 10 AM. AND THE NEARBY VICINITY PHOTOCOPY CENTRES TOO OPEN AT 10 AM.

Rest get your valid original documents and their photocopies, if there is any change in address do bring a govt approved I'd with the new address details.

No need to take application printout, as the appointment sms can be shown at the counter to process your application.

The security team will check the appointment msg and baggage at gate. No extra persons can enter the premises except in case of senior citizens. At the first counter they will check your documents, and advise if anything else is needed. IT IS ADVISABLE TO BRING CASH IF ANY PENDING APPLICATION MONEY IS TO BE PAID, AS SOMETIMES THE CARD OR THE CARD MACHINE MAY HAVE ERRORS IN TRANSACTION. Once the first counter approved your application, they will send you to another counter beside it, which will cross check your documents. If all in order, you have to submit your papers at another counter beside it, which will allocate you a counter number.
There is waiting area inside which will keep on showing the numbers at various counter, once your number arrives you can proceed to your counter. You will be seated in that counter, all yours details will be shown to you to cross check. At this counter you will be paying any pending fees (as I was having tatkal passport so I paid my ₹2000 pending fee here). At this counter your photographs and biometrics will be taken. And with the same token number you will be asked to move to the next area.
There again will be three counters, a waiting area is over there with a LCD showing token number at various counters. They will cross check your docs online, and if applying for renewal of passport they will put the cancelled stamp on old passport.
After this within a minute you will be called either into MEA officer's cabin or APO cabin. Again token number will be shown on the TV. In my case I was in APO cabin, it was just a min task. I came out. End of process.
I filled the feedback form as I liked the entrie process and team over there. And than you can come out.

In case of tatkal, the police verification happens on the next day itself and passport is dispatched after PV itself. It will reach home in 3-4 days.

I had query earlier regarding that whether I can travel abroad If I receive my passport earlier and police verification happens later after delivery of passport. The officer over there informed that yes we can travel.

Very helpful officers, I was not able to get an online appointment before 24th Jan’23 and on approaching the staff and letting them know my crisis they immediately helped me out.
My experience never approach any middle man… go directly, your problem will be sorted out.

Things get done quick as long as you have the appointment and you reach on time with proper documentation.

My tatkal application is lo g due and still under process. I have not received ny information yet and nonone picks up call at RK Puram branch. Customer care also has no clue. This is so disappointing as what is use of tatkal if the applucations are still ignored.

I have good experience with them. My case was complicated and Ayushmann Tyagi handled it in an appreciable way. He was throughly professional and helpful all the time. I sincerely hope more members are added to the team to share the load of work. Keep it up!

Staff sitting over there is working with lackadaisical attitude towards their responsibilities. Despite having contact details of individual they never mention the same on the envelope intentionally.

Concerned staff for document verification is absolutely rude. Will find a dozen reason for returning your application back.

Useless place with no parking area. Plz come by cab otherwise you will not find any parking place.

It's all fraud going on in this RPO Office. Documented evidence was provided to the R. P. O.with all details for passport fraud, till today whenever we go there to inquire after more than 8 months of complaint, I am threatened as senior officers are involved in issuing fake passports with fake details & manipulated documents. Even the holder has another passport issued from Chandigarh. Now the question arises; are senior officers involved in this fake scam? Are senior passport officers trying to- SAVE THE SKIN OF OTHER OFFICIALS?

Worst experience ever. The staff is so uncivilised, ill-mannered.guys please don't book your appointment here. They will just waste your time by asking for needless documents. Wish it had a zero or a negative star option.

I went here to renew my passport under Tatkaal service and I was super impressed. Job done in 25 minutes to be precise

I reached 15 mins before my appointment, I wasn’t sure if I’d get a parking spot but to my surprise I got it bang in front of the passport office gate

First you need to show your appointment sms on the security gate

Once you enter you will need to show your passport and appointment sms again at the token counter where they’ll check your passport photocopy and 2 more IDs photocopy along with the original documents (I showed them my Aadhaar and DL)

Don’t worry if you’re not carrying photocopies, there is a counter right there which takes ₹4/copy (cash or UPI)

Now they’ll give you a token number and you need to proceed to the waiting area where you can see the numbers displayed on a screen along with the counter number where you need to go next

I took my AirPods and thought it’ll take a long while but as soon as I took those out, my number came within a minute!

First you need to proceed to the ‘A’ counters where they verify your details, click your picture, take your fingerprints, scan your original documents (in my case they scanned DL, Aadhaar, Passport and 12th Marksheet) and take the payment (cash and card both work)

Since I paid ₹1500 online while applying, I had to pay the rest ₹2000 here. They charge ₹50 extra for SMS services

After leaving the ‘A’ counter area you proceed to another room where there are ‘B’ and ‘C’ counters. Here they just verify your details and the scanned docs. Again just 1-2 minute waiting in this area

Lastly, they ask you to fill the feedback form and I was more than happy to do that since there was almost no waiting, seamless experience and very polite staff, more than 90% of them were ladies

As soon as I left the building, I got the acknowledgment mail and an SMS that the passport printing has been initiated

Once I reached home I got a message that the passport is printed

That’s Tatkaal (immediate) indeed!

Writing this on the day of my visit. Now let’s see how much time does it take for the passport to arrive

bad things - in pcc area
-the chairs are dirty as hell
-no proper hordings showing where should we go
- no numbers & token display
- anyone can go and just sit on chair
-hall with no ac
- official person is soo rude like if he done talking with u in half way he doesn’t talk u back and let u leave the chair

So, in total, there are 3 counters (A, B, C). Counter A is a private affair managed by Tata, and others are managed by government officials. Counter A is very professional; counter B and C have typical sarkari babus behavior. My appointment was at 9 am but no one showed till 10 15 am and as a result the waiting room was overcrowded and no covid protocols were followed. These guys really need to improve

Have applied for Tatkal passport it’s passed 3 weeks and I am still trying to figure out where exactly is my application.

Unnecessary bureaucracy at its best. They accept copies of address proof unless it is a rental agreement. In which case they require you to spend another four hours traveling back and forth to get an original rental agreement. The reason? Because they want to scan it themselves!
They don't trust my scans! This is despite the fact that they will send someone from the police later to verify the original as well!
This government just wants you to appreciate every moment in life by making each moment painful. So that even one breath of repreive feels like success.
It is true - a passport is your first lottery ticket in life!

I, m very tired

They never allows to book appointments online. I have been trying since 2 months now, every time I try message displays "all 200 appointments are booked for the day" and messages keep on changing.how this is even possible? I put alarm for 4: 55 PM IST and kept ready to book appointment, I observed in 200+ times not a single attempt was successful, in the fraction of seconds with multiple systems at 5: 00: 00 PM IST they started the messaging automatically. They are intentionally not allowing booking and showing such messages on websites. This increases the frustration towards so called government system. What these people are doing? Why they are getting salary? If they don't want to work than why they are allowed to sit there. What they are trying to achieve by frustrating thousands of folks? Shame on you and your system, Improve it make some difference so you can face the people around you with pride.

Great experience. This was my fourth passport issued at this office in so many years. What an amazing transformation from my last visit ten years ago. No crowds. No long line. No touts. Very smooth.

Hello guys i m facing some issues i applied for pcc and after verification they send my pcc certificate to my post office but they didn't bring to my home address and they returned to RPO and after that I'm try to get an appointment and it's not getting book plz tell how to book enquiry appointment

Not too bad, but even when you get the appointment online, you still need to write an application mentioning you issue and file number to get token only then you can visit the officer you are assigned in the first place.
Also lots of tout outside who claim to get your passport work done very easily by paying bribe and everyone see that still no action on them.

Quite smooth experience dont make judgement on the basis of the reviews. I went for enquiry since my status was showing Passport under review at RPO, and just the next day my file has been forwarded to the police station for police verification. Take your appointment and then go, no line was there and i was free within 90 mins (may differ).

My appointment clear with no any issue but now 6 days to go I applied my passport on 20/09/2021 my track status stay at a place passport is under review the regional passport office and no recieve any call from police station so what can i do now please work on it.

They're basically trying to loot money in the name of tatkal. It's been a week and I haven't received my passport yet. Surprisingly passport applied under normal arrived early. Why would citizens pay 3500 for tatkal if they have to keep waiting for a week?
Moreover the policeman demanded money in the name of 'seva' for police verification. Seriously? You're getting paid for your job!

I had appointment in 31 March, i had night shift the previous night but the timing of my appointment i went directly to the office. When i reach the office they send me into room no. 12 but the officer who were sitting there send me into room no. 11, and then i wait for my turn a long period of time and when my time come and they checked my file the officer of 11 was was angry and shouting to the other staff and saying like that type of file is not my responsibility why did you send here and he send me back to the previous room no. 12. But the security lady told me to wait because they are going to have lunch. So i wait them like almost 2 and half hours and i was almost angry so i can't wait anymore i go into his office and check my file but in the end all i got was they need printed of my rent agreement. So all i can do during the day was go home. Why they cannot tell me directly about what file required instead of wasting my time. So my overall review was the Officer in the office was unprofessional and slow.

I don't like their service. I applied my passport in 2018 and it's almost 3 years I still didn't get my passport.they said my address is wrong but then how can they send me a notice on a same address. I got only passport cover after many complained.they said students passport seva is free of cost but I paid thousands.but still I don't have my passport yet. I called in a passport service center and after hearing me she cut my call and call me personally and asked me 7000 rupees for my passport.but I only a student and I'm already paid thousands.how can i pay more for nothing. I didn't get any call from postman I just got a notice after many months that said I was not at home that time and after they said my address is wrong but I got a notice from passport Regional office from Delhi on my same address.nobody pick a call in passport Regional office. Their service is really very bad. I don't know how will I get my passport now. I don't have any money because I already wasted so many.can anyone tell me how will get i my passport.

Pathetic experience. How do you get an appointment at these places. Privatization is must for these pathetic government offices.

1. They are very harrassing people.
2. Rude and uncooperative staff.
3. Time which is mentioned above is not correct time they just open the gates from 1000 to 1300 hrs only.
4. I requested them that i am serving in indian army, due to job restrictions i reach there 10 minutes late from 1300 hrs but they refused and said "tumhe time slot me hi aana padega kahi bhi job karo us se hame koi matlab nahi hai"
5. They didn't deserve even star but there is no any option for zero star.

Application stucked for renewal, no update even after paying for sms alerts, help line number says to contact regional office and their number doesn't get through.

It seems we are getting back to 90's, stand in queue take off from office.

10 years back when I applied for fresh passport it was lot smoother experience.

Horrible service! The people at the counter act like we are the public servants and they are our masters. Zero service skills. Make people wait for no reason. No sense of responsibility towards citizens of the country who pay these peoples’ salaries!

Good service and also having a photocopy shop inside the office. But very inside from the road and should have proper navigation direction to reach there. And rest was good staff was also good.

Your numbers are not available, I can't book an enquiry appointment online, you didn't even reply on mails.
Sir, I submitted my passport on 11/02/2020 for some corrections.
And status of my passport is under review in regional passport office can you please explain about that status.

Please be there by 1p.m. From Monday to Friday.
Otherwise they will not entertain you and they'll harass you in all the way possible.

Indian Government Offices gives you worst experience that you don't forget till you die.

Pathetic service. No digitalization, still have to do more and more paperwork, atleast 2 people required to operate the computers, guards are rude and rules change depending on who’s the applicant. The officers come at 10: 30 and then too, don’t entertain you more than a min.

Pathetic place, the guards are rude as anything, the female guards all the more so. Their website says they are open until 530pm Monday to Friday, we reached well before their closing time and were told that they were closed for the day. After we requested them to allow us to see someone inside since our case was very urgent, a female guard started acting even more rude. It's a concerning thing that passport office like the one in the nation's capital still is in a shambles.

Worst passport office ever (RPO), firstly you have to book appointment and then after waiting for 15 days you will recieve a appointment and then still you have to stand in line to get token and after that almost standing for 1 hr you get the chance to meet the officer.
And after filling all the formalities you have to again stand in a line for documents scanning which will take around 2-3 hrs.

I personally have suffered from the same, I was able to reach the office on time i.e. 10a.m Sharp and it took around 4-5 hrs to get my work done with having all the required documents!

Worst behaviour by guards standing on the entrance. They treat people like criminals and do not follow appointment timings. My appointment slot was from 13-13.15 PM. I reached on time and was told that "abhi toh lunch hai 1 ghante ka aap wait karo 2 baje tak"
I told them to let me in so i could wait inside as it was extremely cold out and was raining slightly. They didnt even let me in even after i showed them my appointment receipt.
I had to stand and wait outside in the cold and i had to request them to please let me in to atleast buy a cup of tea at which i was sent in very reluctantly like a criminal by the fussy guard lady. PATHETIC!

I am from Delhi. My appointment was with PSKPO Mehrauli. Its already i month and i have received no information as yet. The status says only this " Passport application has been submitted along with applicable fees and supporting documents. " I dont know what to do.where to check? Can any one help me?

"Regional passport office" is on the backside of the "passport seva Kendra"

Timing for "Regional passport office" is between "10: 00am to 01: 00pm"

Timing for "Passport seva kendra" is between "09: 00am to 05: 30pm".

Since last 2 days I m calling on given no, but the line is continuously busy. May be Post office have side business of call centre. Good working post office and officers.

Cheap Services, They uses to do Strike on daily basis they do not care about us.

Why they never pick calls. That number given for contact is useless. Just remove it. Unnecessarily people waste time dialling that.

There are brokers leaving their numbers in comments. Never call and tell them all your details. If your passport is on hold, its because you might have told them that you are going to apply or something. They will cause the passport hold, so that you can ask for help for which the will charge a lot.
On first place never disclose even your name to them. They have inside contacts to delay your passport and make money out of your misery.

I m from faridabad, i have applied for passport, police has been submitted clear report of my current adresse, but last 10day we dont receive any update frm thier side.my collegue already have faced this problem from last 1month, he also go to passport resional office but not receive any postive feedback, who is responsible for this unneccessory delaying in this serious problem, pls suggest what we do.
