I don’t know if my case was special or it’s the usual way of dealing with their customers, but my experience has been very disappointing here. I expected better services, much much more help, and much much more proactiveness, but received none of the above.
I was applying for a spouse visa, where the procedure is not very straightforward. There are cover and sponsor letters, financials, supporting documents, and many other things. However, thoughtout the application process, it was me going through the Internet, samples and YouTube videos to figure what I was supposed to do, and then asking the Riya travel agent if I should be doing that, only to get a reply like- yes you need to do this.
Every time something new came up, it was because I was proactive and new somethings about the process and not because these guys helped much. They were priced pretty reasonably compared to other agencies but even the reasonable price wasn’t worth. I wish I could ask for a refund. Highly disappointed with their services and lack of involvement. I have already submitted my documents at the VFS, awaiting the visa response and it’s been 15-20 days already, and I haven’t even once heard from these guys following up with me to know the status.
My personal experience made me feel that they are not very reliable, not very proactive and don’t get involved. The only plus was that the agents and the manager spoke nicely throughout and for that I’m grateful.
