R K Ashram Metro station is catering requirements for passengers of Govt Colonies of RK Ashram Kali badi, BSNL colony, and people fond of eating at Kaleva and Bangla Sweet. E- Rickshaw are available outside of station. However one should be careful of snatching, particularly one should avoid using Mobile while in E-Rickshaw

Its a junction metro station to visit New Delhi, Lutyens zone, Presidential Estate and as well as to go and visit oldest shopping regions of delhi.

Birla Mandir is at 10 minute walks, Plus you can take rikshawalas on maximum 30 Rs (I will prefer to spend 10 Rs extra on rikshawwala) or Rs 10 sharing e- Auto.

You can go NDLS railway station by tempo, hardly 10 mims to opposite direction.

CP is also equidistant and in a way to railway station.

Way to Gurgaon is also near, crossing birla mandir, you will reach T POINT where you can take ridge road or can choose to go via Sr Patel Marg following Mother Teresa's crescent.

Metro Station is generally not very crowded and Rush is decent. Even by going on walk around Mandir Marg, there is proper saftey and Mandir Marg Police Thana is situated there in mandir lane.

Yes Area seems secluded beyond Mandir Marg along Ridge road and I will prefer not go there alone.

Further for Car Drivers, Dont speed up your car as Maximum Speed limit on ridge road is restricted upto 50 Km/hr.

For eating, Some very good Chatwalas, Momos are there just under metro bridge during evenings.

For Tea Lovers, Go to Birla Mandir, there is a shop inside Mandir near the underpass gate. Very Good Tea.

Management is very good here. It is nearby New Delhi railway station. Rk ashram Marg metronia on blue line connecting dwarka to vaishali and Noida. Staff are well aware and helpful. Like other metro station it has good crowd management.

Neat and clean metro station.named after Ram Krishna ashram which is situated beside the station near gate no 2.

This Metro station is next to Rajiv chowk Metro station. This station is very neat and clean. I have seen very good security arrangements here. CRPF is handling the security of this metro station. Escalators are located on one gate only. No one escalators are here to go to the platforms. But you can use lift which are available here.

Best station to go to paharganj and gole market. Share auto are available to ganga ram hospital and gole market.

Most crowded metro station with very settled structure and they have 6 gates too.this also attaches to nearly all metro line. Situted in the blue line. It is a intercahnge with facilities to have all popular food chains which can easily pass ur hour or two

Know as Rama Krishna Metro Station, paid parking available at gate no. 3 and 4. This station is Jointly touching the 4 roads like Gole Market, Pahar ganj, Jhandewalan and Cannaught Place.

Very bad security and very bad service metro staff and very dirty place security checking very badly

Very near to Connaught place, has parking facility n is a spot for departure of buses to Agra n vrindavan

(a) paharganj hippie market; a walking distance from the stn 15mins where u walk in straight to the hippie market (where u get all hippie clothing, bongs, artifacts, vintage replicas of many things also money exchange, cheap hippie hotels & many small restaurant like Korean restaurant, Chinese, Jewish etc.
(B) sardar market; the biggest wholesale market in NCR but maybe in India as well. Hop in a shared e-rick ride from the stn to the market 20/head but yeah the traffic's really really crazy crazy out here (don't blame me that I didn't warn you! But once inside you can ask for locations depending on what you want to buy.

For local Delhi people, RKM is more important for utility than the Rajiv Chowk metro station.
Paharganj is an important market for furniture at bargain prices, with two roads fully occupied by furniture shops and a very big multi level municipal furniture market.
Middle class is not only religious but also they are spiritual. At any time of the weekend students and parents throng the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram which is just at the entrance to the metro station.
Also, the world famous Birla Mandir is served by this metro station, hence utilitywise for local Delhi residents, this is a very important metro station.

For visiting New Delhi railway station paharganj side, it is advisable to drop down at RK Marg metro station. It's location is very strategic. Further at entry gate of metro there is very big Ram Krishna mission ashram. It's a place worth visiting. Very nice and peaceful.

Guru Dronacharya metro station has a good parking space. The parking is comparatively empty on Saturday and Sunday. This is a Major station leading to offices near by & sikandarpur market, furniture market, Tiles market. You can get Autos and Cabs easily.

Less crowd but there are no escalators on this metro station. So you have to depend on either elevators or stairs

It is next to Rajiv chowk metro station if you are on Dwarka line and before to Jhandewalan metro station. It falls within pahar Ganj area. Near to Rama Krishna mission. Not very crowded. You can also take a rickshaw just outside of this metro station of planning for Sadar bazar or pahar Ganj market or Gole market.

I really like the service of this metro station, best thing is outside the metro u could get E rickshaw.
