Saffron Palate

Spectacular experience! This was my second time attending the Saffron Palette cooking classes and I brought two of my clients with me. It was such a special experience to share. We loved cooking in a relaxed environment. Neha has a wonderful way of teaching that is not overwhelming and helps people at all levels to cook delicious Indian food. This is a must when visiting Delhi and I will be back!

What an amazing experience! I had so much fun. My husband was in India for work, and of course I tagged along, so while he was working I took this cooking class. This was my first time traveling to India and it did not disappoint. I had a private class which was perfect for me. Neha took the time to explain all of the spices and ingredients since most of them are not common in the US. I loved the hands on cooking. And of course being able to eat what we made was the best part! If I ever make it back to Delhi I will definitely be taking another class. If your considering a cooking class, do it! You will not be disappointed.

I really wanted to take a cooking course in India and it did not disappoint. The attention, the treatment, the detailed explanations. I have taken other similar courses on my travels and this one is at the top.

Incredible experience! Neha is a kind, generous host and a wonderful teacher! Her kitchen setup is fantastic, and I loved how hands on the whole experience was (although the work colleague I came with oddly chose to not participate he truly missed out!). The food was, of course, fantastic, and I can’t wait to put my new cooking know-how to the test! She provides you with all the recipes to take home, and the techniques to replicate an authentic Indian meal. I can truly think of no better way to spend an afternoon in Delhi with friends…this is my new go-to when I’m in Delhi! Thank you again Neha! Look forward to seeing you again!

The cherry on top of my Indian visit was a cooking clas with Saffron Palate. In a cozy space, with all the ingredients nicely prepared and all the kitchen utensils you need. Neha will guide you and help you understand the usage of indian spices, how to best use the ingredients, how you can make the most of the recipes.all with clear instructions and in an easy way. Plus, she is such a lovely person to spend time with. What is the best way to discover a new culture, taste it!

My dad and I visited Saffron Palate on our first day in India and had the best time. Neha was friendly and knowledgeable and her instructions were easy to follow. We cooked some wonderful food and we can’t wait to reproduce our Indian feast at home!

This was a really fun cooking class.
The owner prepared the cooking very well: Everything - from utilities to ingredients - was there to focus on the cooking itself.
The class took place in a loft/terrace above the city with trees/green all around. It was quiet.
The owner explained it well - she even know some of the ingredients names in German which helped understanding a lot.

We had such a fabulous time at Saffron Palate. The recipes were easy to follow and delicious. The cooking instructor Mrs. Neha Gupta made us feel right at home and gave us a survey to cater to our spice level and any food allergies. I can't wait to try some recipes at home and to take another class soon. Her beautiful terrace and cooking space can accommodate up to 8 guests, and everyone leaves with a very nice cookbook.

This was an awesome activity we did with our 2 children (7 and 9) on our trip to India. Neha was very nice and taught us some great cooking tips. The cooking class set up was also very organized and she accommodated us being vegetarian. Overall was a great experience and would definitely recommend if you are in Delhi.

My partner found Saffron Palate for us after I had expressed interest in taking a cooking class during my first trip to India and wow, I was very impressed. Not only was the food delicious (we made butter chicken, Jeera Aloo, and multiple variations of Parantha) but Neha was an absolute joy to be around! She's an excellent teacher and very welcoming. We chose the added option to go to the local market with her and were able to pick up a lot of spices that are harder to find in the states to bring home with us as gifts for family and friends.
Her location was also easy for us to find.

What an outstanding experience! Neha is so welcoming and informative, and not just about Indian cooking techniques, but also about visiting Delhi. Though I consider myself a pretty good amateur Indian cook, she really upoed my game, and taught me to make my first Indian breads to boot. (Shout out also to her mother, who filled in in a pinch to take me on a local market tour.) You simply can't go wrong with Saffron Palate!

I very appreciated my experience with Neha. We cooked very good food. She is very patient and she gave us explanations about the spices that we used to cook our dishes. I had to pick the dishes I wanted to cook from a long list. The place is beautiful and super clean. If you are in Delhi it’s an activity that it should put on your to do list.

Neha is a seasoned teacher and everything was well planned and organized. I learned several concepts which I couldn't comprehend through recipes books before. Well worth a try.

Neha was such a knowledgeable and accommodating host during the class! I learned how to make Naan from scratch, butter chicken, Chana masala and zeera aloo. The meal was delicious and we got to walk through a nearby local market with a variety of food and retail items afterwards

We loved taking a cooking class with Neha, a highlight of our time in Delhi for sure! Highly recommend it. She's a great teacher—explains the cooking process in a way that's easy to understand and she gives you lots of interesting background info on recipes and ingredients as well. Took a virtual cooking class with Neha and had a wonderful experience! She was incredibly adept at balancing all of the different groups virtually and ensured everyone was following along - the class was incredibly well organized and went at a great pace, and most importantly - the food was incredible! Highly recommend taking a class with Neha!

Of course my favourite part was getting to eat the beautiful meal with my family. Neha was so well organized, and had a lot of tips and interesting knowledge and history of our recipe. The ingredients were very easy to obtain. She coached us through the food preparation from start to finish, and had lots of tips for us to.ensure the flavours were perfect. I really enjoyed the experience, and it was much easier to prepare than I imagined. Thank-you Neha!

I scheduled a private booking as a virtual holiday party. Neha was responsive and accommodating while scheduling our event. She is super knowledgeable! I enjoyed learning some history on the dishes we cooked and some specifics on Indian spices. She very easily accommodated dietary restrictions and gave tips on how to adapt the ingredients we had for the dish. She also easily answered our questions – some of which did not relate to the dished we cooked.

My kitchen smelled amazing after the class! My husband and I will happily be eating leftovers. We will be cooking the dishes again (soon).

Neha's class is fantastic. I've always loved Indian food and it felt really special having Neha teach me how to make a couple dishes at home. She also had some interesting stories and facts along with the cooking class and it made for a memorable and fun experience.

I booked an e-cook session with Neha to celebrate my birthday with friends. Neha was really helpful in the run up to the event, providing me with plenty of dishes to choose from and sending detailed information regarding the ingredients we needed to buy and the preparation we would need to do in advance. The class itself was great fun, with Neha making sure to check in with everyone. We all really enjoyed it and I will definitely be cooking those dishes again!

Neha made my first Airbnb virtual experience a spectacular one! She was warm, kind, and knew what she was doing. I love how she included little facts here and there about the dishes. She ensured everyone was on the same pace and periodically checked in with everyone. I never felt rushed or left behind. I will definitely book another experience with Neha again!

Highly recommend this cooking class! Neha was a great instructor, and even though the class was conducted via Zoom (Covid times) it still felt very personalized. She took time to interact with each of the participants, and provided individual feedback/personalized tips & tricks throughout sessions. The dishes turned out amazing! I am so happy that Neha was able to show us how to make incredible Indian dishes at home, I can't wait to try out these recipes again.

I took an e-cooking class from the U. S.with Neha from Saffron Palate. The class was given to me as a gift, but I definitely plan on taking more classes with Neha. She was personable, kind, knowledgable, and the food we cooked together tasted delicious!
