Sagar Ratna

Not a very flashy place, but preety decent. We had Puri bajji and Idli Chat and it was nice. Simple, Neat and clean place!
The prices were a bit on the higher side, though, and there wasn't any special attribute to justify it.
I was surprised to see that it was actually a chain of restaurants, it didn't seem like one.

The food is tasty. Ambience is ok, it gets too noisy during lunch. You will have to wait for few minutes during lunch hours

I ordered hara bhara kabab, spring rolls n milk shake. All r tasty. Bt I didn't like cheese dosa. Their chutney r delicious. Ambience was ok ok types. Staff was friendly n cordial. Overall a gud experience

Less quantity and over priced.lots of Lizard outside the restaurant.thaali was not available.sweet lassi and cheese dosa is recommended.malai kofta tastes like sweet potato kheer.paneer tikka comes in very less quantity.others might like it but not according to my taste

Tried ghee roast Dosa and fresh lime soda. Both were good in taste but I didn't like the sambar that much as it was not that flavourful than the chutneys provided along with it.

Good place to eat south Indian food. They have lots of variety in Dosa, Idli, Uttapam etc. Idli chat is very tasty.

The food quality was very bad. They used high amount of oil to fry rice. I donot think its have any quality of south Indian food. I will not suggest to anyone to taste south Indian dishes from this restaurant.

Sagar Ratna is well established among the vegetarian foodies. Their Naraina outlet also keeping up the name and brand. The location is prominent, parking available for few vehicles.
Food is good, staff is courteous and professional. Thier South Indian Filter Coffee is my favourite. Recommended!

Food is good but not hygienic. The person cleaning tables is immediately bringing food without even washing hands. Reported to manager and then action was taken. Never expected this kind of service from a reputed hotel like Sagar Ratna

The cost according to the taste and serving of the food is very bad. Food is so costly and not given in that amount according to the price

The place has got cleaner! Food is good. Overall good experience. The place is easy to find. Kids friendly.

Good crowd, but at (least for me) the Dosa's etc are not as tasty as in other Sagar Ratna's.
Toilet was not maintained.

Ordered Paper masala dosa from Zomato. The dosa was delivered in time.however the red chutney served with the Dosa was stale & I had one bite of the dosa with chutney & vommitted. Will never go to Sagar Ratna again.

I didn't like it here when it first opened up. But over time, food quality & service has really improved.

They have introduced a lot of fusion varieties of south indian food wherein a touch of 'North' has been added to the dishes; not recommending those for the authentic flavours but definitely recommended for people who want to explore new flavours.

Pros:
New flavours, variety from other cuisines also available, good service, NOT CROWDED, green chutney, good with family/friends/solo

Cons:
Sambar is too watery, some people may not find the taste too authentic

It is the worst Sagar ratna of delhi.staff is so rude and adamant. They talk as if they are the owners of taj mahal. Plenty of options are there in the market. In todays world no space for people dealing rude with clients.people switch to the other in a sec. They better learn this fast.

As always great food. They make amazing south indian food and have been doing that for the past 20 odd years. I have forgotten the exact name but it was a ghee roast garlic dosa. Tried it for the first time. It was amazing. But the coconut chutney has fallen from the pedestal of being the ultimate pure coconut chutney. It was bland and the last time too it didn't taste great (it was January this year). Thin consistency and no tadka of curry leaves and mustard, like is done at cheap south indian food joints. The authorities should take cognizance of this as their chutneys are their hallmark. So when the customer pays well for south indian grub (which is normally very cheap) he's not complaining cause the authenticity of flavours has been kept intact.

The ambiance is beautiful, peaceful and very clean. Coupled with a very polite staff, good background music and quick service it becomes a very memorable experience. The most important thing - food is simply mouth watering and sumptuous, especially the South Indian cuisines

Nice place, south indian foods are really good specially idli chat but north indian and Chinese not good, staffs are good and polite, hygienic place.

I ordered here rawa dosa and that was fabulous.though it was expensive but i really worth the dine in experience.staff is quite friendly and supportive.customised meal is available.nice services.spacious and customer friendly restaurant.i am not sure what else is in the menu in addition to south Indian food.situated in prime location clearly visible from naraina road.

Authentic South Indian taste. Good option to eat out if you are planning to watch a movie at PVR Naraina.
