A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention with a great a food they serve you and the drinks was awesome and various variety of flavours you'll have.
We were delighted by the authentic South Indian main course. The spices and flavors were extremely impressive for a vegetarian restaurant. The service was pretty good. We reached there at 8: 00 pm and the restaurant was half full but we didn't have to wait, although we didn't have a reservation. We tried Mysore masala dosa, Idli chaat and chole masala and every single dish was delicious I’d love to visit again. I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner. Do try their famous mysore masala dosa.
The attentive staff cater to your every need, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The mushroom chilli and veg noodles dish is a delectable delight. Overall, this restaurant is a good that never fails to impress.
Food is excellent I’m regular customer but the order taker is missing who use to take order I don’t know the name of guy but he hasn’t hair on his head seems like from Uttrakhand
Very nice restaurant with great food taste and polite staff members. All the facilities are available. Hygienic place and good environment. But food is very expensive.
It's the restaurant I've been going since my childhood days. Food has always been great and delicious. Whenever i visit the place, i feel nostalgic. The old staff has changed, however no change in service.
Excellent South Indian food with good service. Cuisine: Mostly from Karnataka which as an Andhrite I thoroughly enjoyed as we don't have Mysore and Open dosas in our menus. Taste: Excellent (enuf said) Price: "Little expensive but worth it" category Highly recommended
Very poor service. The staff is very rude. Of all the sagar ratna outlets I have been to this is the worst experience. The waiter has no interest in taking our order and they serve like they are doing us a favour. I am highly disappointed.
This one is going to make you puke - these guys actually recycle the chutneys! A couple of days ago, we went to this restaurant and ordered some Idlis and dosa. After that we ordered coffee. We could not believe our eyes when the waiter came and started cleaning our table. The guy put the used plates in the plastic tub but took the chutneys and sambaar and put it in the next table. I told him that those were used stuff but he would not listen! I even spoke to a guy who looked like a manager or supervisor but he didn't even seem surprised and would not say anything. He only told the waiter that if people did not eat the sambaar or chutneys he need not serve it to them! How would these guys know if the chutneys or sambaar has been tasted or if someone would feel or not feel like trying it out?
Bottom-line is - if you go to this restaurant, beware, you might be eating what someone else might have already eaten! Such restaurants should not be allowed to run. We have decided never to visit this restaurant ever again. Yukk.
Sagar Ratna is very special for me as I have grown up eating at this outlet since I was 12. Also, I am very fond of south indian food. I love their masala dosa, rava onion masala dosa, filtered coffee, south indian papad (usually prepared in coconut oil) and also north indian food also. It is very close to me for a reason I did my assignment in MBA all alone on Sagar Ratna and it was approved as I did come up with original case study by talking to their people in real. I wish I could cook coconut chutney in the same way as they do.
I have visited this after 7 years or more than I don't exactly remember the time but yeah the taste of food of this place was same. I truly love food of this place and Wondering how soon I can visit again this place. I love food which they served there. Even I my family was there there they also love the food of this place.
So this is the story of so called best veg restaurant in India. They had displayed a menu and nothing was available from that. I asked for Mango Shake and then watermark juice and they offered me Mausami juice. I don’t recommend this restaurant in Malviya Nagar area. I tried to escalate same with the manager but other staff informed that he is not here. Pathetic services. Please look for some other options than this restaurant.
Good for south Indian cuisine. But when the crowd increases thy are not able to cater customers properly. Service slows down and the food you get is not hot enough.
Love the ambience and the service. Absolutely delicious South Indian food made by culinary wizards.special mention of sambhar and garlic dosa, which are must have food items.
The worst food you have, I ordered poori and aloo sabji, and being a north indian, south india, and chinese restraunt i expected the aloo sabji to be like a traditional aloo sabji, but it was merely the aloo masala from masala dosa and it didn't even tasted like it and one more thing the cost of food does not justifiable, it's a big food chain and they should take care about how the food tastes and what kind of things a customer wants in a dish.
The complete menu was over priced. Dosa costing above 150 rupees no complementary rasam, papas as per to other restaurants in south Delhi. Too too expensive
Everything is good about this place when you feel like having South Indian food. The only thing which can be improved is introduction of some more food varieties just like in Saravana Bhawan
The variety in dosas is exquisite. We wanted to try North Indian as well but were so amazed by what they had to offer in terms of South Indian food, that we ended up ordering only that. A collection of idli was a bit disappointing but other than that, they did a good job.
Food looks great, but is tasteless. Like I was actually impressed how something which is supposed to be spicy, and looks and smells so good, is so tasteless.
