The food us good but costlier compared to other SR outlets. Managers 2 of them iare rude and have no courtesy or customer service attitude.they literally ask u to leave sooner than u want.

As someone born n brought up on n delhi sagar ratna is about nostalgia. About memories of bunking college and devouring dosas! So everytime now that am in delhi.ek baar toh aana banta hai!

A decent place to dine in with family. Food is good and the service also is decent. It was quiet and sparsely occupied in the early evening.

The food is just amazing. I went there with my father, husband and daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Sevice also top class. A five star meal in a classy setting at reasonable rates. Must visit.

A complete waste of money considering its a 5 star resturant. Very basic food and taste is not at all good. I would any day prefer Padmanabhan or Saravana bhavan.

Sagar Ratna Restaurant in Hotel Ashoka is the best if you are a pure vegetarian, in Delhi. You won't get any difference of taste from hotels in southern part of India to Sagar Ratna. Absolutely fabulous and offers very tasty food. I recommend Sagar Ratna for breakfast, Lunch and dinner

Exorbitant price for the food & service, though being part of Ashoka means huge rental. But too long a way to even come close to the taste & value Defence Colony Sagar Restaurant (mother of chain) gave until 2000.

The restaurant is inside Ashoka Hotel so the ambience was good without nay doubt.the service was quick and good. Food is the standard of sagar ratna restaurant chain with good quantity.good gesture was we were asked about the service at the end and the staff was very polite
We ordered thalis but I couldn't finish the rice, in fact I didn't even touch the bowl so we asked them to pack it. They packed some sambhar and chutney along with the rice just to make it a complete food.
I liked the place. Somehow my husband gets the same table whenever he visits and we told the staff to change it next time

After 11 km walk at Nehru park, nearest place for authentic South Indian food. Excellent preparation, ambience and service. Though cost is on higher side. (INR 1000 per head)

Only issue.they don't sanitise seats after people leaving. Most expensive sagar ratna in Delhi but.you're in Hotel Ashoka.:)

Spacious and staff is polite and courteous.
But it doesn't have veg north Indian food which other sagar ratnas have usually.

You'll only get south Indian food here at panchsheel marg outlet.
I was saddened by their washroom though.it is ver conjusted w.r. T the huge sitting area.
There was no music playing when I visited. I usually like soft music while having food.

It's good place to catch good South Indian food. The rasam vada was just delicious though spicy. And ghee roast paneer Dosa was awesome too. They hv idli chat too which is quite innovative.

Loved this place. Visited at 10.30pm and was surprised they offer hot sambar and dosa even at this hour.

Well This Outlet is located in the Ashok Hotel. Food quality is much better in comparison to other outlet. South Indian joints are normally very spartan in their ambience and decor but this one is mellow and trendy.
What is unfortunate are the prices.
Had tried their rawa Masala dosa which is slight above the average.

I would say this must be the MOST expensive south Indian joint in India.

Sagar Rattana os bascially for Kannada food. Post separation in chain quality of food is down, there is no improvement seen in service trend till date even

This outlet of Sagar Ratna is in ITDC premium hotel ‘The Ashok’. Naturally it is more expensive that normal outlets. Inside the ambiance is good with lot of wood work giving it traditional touch. Service is good. Food is like real South Indian. Spacious with open space and distance between tables. Parking is available.

I was a little disappointed after my visit today. The Sagar Ratna restaurant in Defence Colony is really very good, with friendly staff and quick service. This outlet at The Ashok Hotel seems to be the lazy sibling. The staff was very casual and the food arrived cold. We ordered a quick brunch consisting of a mixed uttapam and rava masala dosa. The uttapam was cold and dry. The accompanying sambar was Luke warm and too salty. I didn't end up leaving a tip because I felt the service and food quality was substandard.

Nice Ambience, over priced if we compare to all Sagar Ratna outlets, food is good, but they don't have much option without onion and garlic, staff is not look like 5 star, parking space available, a large family can comfortably sit and Converse, interior is very good

Good place to ha ve genuine south Indian foods. But this outlet is not costly compared to other savar rana outlets. Service is also bit slow and takes lot of time. But some waitress are really good and courteous.

Best ambience, real fast service and excellent quality of south indian food. Though I must warn you that it is much expensive than a standard Sagar Ratna, the ambience and professional staff make up for it. This is our go to place for special events as it is both quite ans joyous.

This place has nice calm and soothing ambiance. Food is great. Staff is good, efficoent and cooperative. Food service time is also very fast. We enjoyed our meal there. However, as this place is in vicinity of embassies and is in complex of a five star hotel, the prices are a little higher in comparison to other outlets of Sagar Ratna. But overall experience is very good.
