Samskrita Bharati

Samskrita Bharati Saṁskrtabhāratī,   is a non-profit organisation working to revive Sanskrit. Sanskrit was a pan-Indian language in the Vedic and classical period but lost its place to its derivative regional dialects in modern India. Samskrita Bharati has its headquarters in New Delhi. According to their own figures, repeated often in their promotional literature, by 1998,2.9 million people had attended the conversation camps.

One institution which is incessantly working for safeguarding the most ancient and sacred language of the world, i.e, Samskritam, is Samskrit Bharati. Very charitable institution it is and people working here are no one but a few dedicated youths who have given everything they had for the sake of sanskrit. Samskrit Bharati deserves a lot of respect. Let us bow down to its workers.

Sanskrit Bharti is doing a great job of spresing Sanskrit by taking free sambhashan classes and various other activities.

Amazing organization with a unique, practical approach to teaching Samskrit. My ability to read and understand Samskrit has been doubled, by attending their 10-day (2hrs per day) free classes! Highly recommended!

The place is very good and at a perfect centre place so many people can join the intitution and learn sanskrit.

Amazing work done by Samskrita Bharati. Their workshops are very innovative and new learner friendly. So much to learn in samskrita, and how little we know. A big thank you to dedicated volunteers who strive to impart knowledge.

This is the famous institution that teaches spoken Sanskrit to people from all age groups. Currently the office is shifted to the next building, as some construction process in going on.
The staff here is very polite and helpful. Enough parking space is present outside. If you are coming by metro, then Pragati Maidan metro station would be the nearest one.
