Okay, first things first. It's not a hang out spot and they will only properly entertain you if you really want to visit the museum.they shut down at 5pm sharp and they have a strict no outside food policy.but, it's still a must visit, if you want to check out a heritage well built space.
The place is huge but it's now looking deserted because of no activity. The staff is almost nil. Just the museum is open. No food. No caffe. Hopefully they will come back to life
Lovely place, the ambiance is superb, you feel you are away from the city when you are here. The bird songs are a treat to ears so as the exhibits a delight to relish.
Anand gram sanskriti kendra is near Arjan garh metro. A beautiful hub of Art n craft related to Indian pottery. The campus is huge artistic and serene. Great place for art enthusiasts. It also has a small pottery museum also.
It is open now for public although only one museum (teracotta) out of three is open to visit. It was my first visit here and i loved the aura and beauty of this place. It is well maintained, a must visit place for art lovers. Looking forward to visit the remaining museums in next visit!
The place is so good that you want to go there every weekend. Its so peaceful and beautiful. But the security guards and other workers are so annoying there, they won't let you enjoy the beauty of the place. There is one security guard he was so rude and we can sense that he doesn't want us to go in there so he do not have to commit his job and can sit only. There is one worker roaming around us everytime, at each corner we are going. They don't even let us sit at any place. We visited there to enjoy but alas! The workers and one guard set us on disappointment.
As the name suggest, Sanskriti Kendra is the hub of cultural activities. This place is surreal and the calmness of this area makes your thought process work in a creative manner. The three museums out here are worth visiting. Kids will love the toy museum where they will be able to see ancient toys made of mud and clay. For any textile enthusiast the other museum out here, dedicated to textile is worth visiting. This place also organize various workshops on painting, clay design and many other art forms. It is a place worth visiting.
A very calm place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is very beautiful place surrounded with trees and ponds. And the place is in itself is a pleasant escape from the city. It also has three museums. There are beautifully designed buildings in harmony with the natural environment.
A nice place to chill out on a weekend. Everyone will find the green cover and place relaxing which is much needed on a weekend. This place is a paradise for anyone interested in art with it's immense collection of terracota from across the states of India.
Very beautiful place, awesome collection of artefact. But need own car otherwise communication is a problem, also only tea, coffee and Maggie is available.
This is a brilliant place to be in Delhi without feeling the Urban Delhi. The space builds up a ecosystem when you can relax resonate and reflect and learn. Highly recommend the place for folks looking to chill out and cut off from the urban world. Only downside is the network reception in this place is weirdly low. But if you think about it that is totally fine because that would help you to focus on yourself better.
Best place for antique lovers.visit this place to adore the beauty of Indian handicrafts and pottery.a must visit for people connected with art and craft.
Very beautiful place, easy to come here. Area is so wide, very green, lots of pottery sculpture here that is delight to see. Everyone should come here.
Sanskrit Museum it is amazing place, many states hand crafted things are there, it is really very beautiful, well maintained place, basically three parts of musiam textile, ponds and handcrafted things. Staff behaviour nice, important things they didn't use unnecessary electric. Entry are free. This is parefect place for kids, photo grafiyee allow only few places.
It's An Awesome Place With Pleasant Environment. Comfortable Cottage Accommodation With Excellent Food And Services. Decently Maintained Museum Sections And Pottery Training Sections. Cool Seminar Halls. Maintained Gardens And Greenery. Fantastic In All
Well maintained, great collection of handcrafted art, textile etc. Place is open near to nature. Very calm place. Love to explore nature and art, very few people know about this place. If you art and nature lover you must go there.
One of a kind place. Well maintained. The main museum has 3 sections.everyday items, textile, and terracotta, beginning from the Harappa Civilisation times.really worth a visit!:)
Though the museum is nice enough and very well maintained, but it is very small and when we have visited only half of the museum. Reason? Because some Worksop was going on
My advise is not to visit during the evening or late hours coz it is bit scary in the sense that there is no crowd visiting this museum at all and no auto rickshaw or three-wheeler rekshaw available to go to the museum from the metro station, it's 1.5 km walk from Ghitorni metro station yellow line and and nearly 1 km from Arjan garh! Metro station yellow line. And to walk during this scroching weather with the humidity is not advisable the way from metro till the museum is very dirty full of garbages till the point where we take left to inter the man road gate. Photography is not allowed inside the museum Restaurant was closed!
Btw there is an alternative to this museum called National Handloom museum at Pragati maidan which has exactly the same artifacts, and same way of displaying it they have restaurant with awesome food and good services museum shop for souvenirs and the museum it self is fully air-conditioned which is awesome and entry is 20 RPS only for Indians.
A very calm place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is very beautiful with has trees and ponds. And the place is in itself is a pleasant escape from the city. It also has three museums. There are beautifully designed buildings in harmony with the natural environment.
Amazing place. It has terracotta and ikat museums inside. They also have pottery set up and it is amazing to look at their creations! They have rooms have well which are very nicely made. The kitchen serves very tasty and healthy food. The best times I spent there were early mornings and late nights when I used to walk around and experience the calmness. There is fresh air around you all the time and it feels amazing!
I feel stupid for not having discovered this place before! It is amaaaazing for an Artsy day by yourself to self reflect, learn something new or just bask in brilliant architecture and greenery!
My first visit to Sanskriti museum was for an art workshop by a group called Titli and I'm really happy I joined it. This place is very peaceful and beautiful. It has some positive vibes that once anyone goes there, they wouldn't feel like coming back. They serve very innovate and delicious healthy Indian food. There is greenery all over this place. It feels so relaxing specially when it's rainy season.
One of best place for art and craft. Very green. Near to nature. Never feels like you are in Delhi. Such a mesmerizing place with full of artistic environment. Good collection of terracotta. Well equipped ceramic studio to work. Must go place in Delhi if anyone is artlover
