Sunday book market is shifted to mahila haat in daryaganj, open at 8 am to 6PM every Sunday

They bluff you by saying that books are sold on kg however if you calculate its one & only same. Not much difference in prices

Well! The book store is good but dont expect that anybody is going to help you to guide especially if you are going to purchase any random story book or novels. You hv to do it by your own. Staff is not that helpful.
There are many book store in a line i tried almost every shop and maximum stores have the same experience except for one or two.

There are good number book shops at Daryaganj Market where you will find books at the cost of 100 to 350 rupees per kg.

The only difficult task is to find the right book as you will see the pile of all kind of books in the stores.

If you have to purchase good number of books at throwaway prices then allocate a good amount of time like half or full day and search the bookstores thoroughly.

Also apart from books you will also find there registers, notebooks, diaries, cello tape at prices per kg which is very cheap compared to any other place.

Must visit for book worms and low cost purchases.

It's nearly one km from New Delhi metro station near Delhi Gate.

Here you will get all type of study material like books, novels, story book, diary, calendar etc. Apart from this, you will get things like study table, study lamp, bag, pen holder etc. All these items are available at a reasonable price which is cheaper than the local shops.

Collection of books and stationary is good but don't expect large price differences. Overall deserves a visit!
