Shahdara

One of the oldest metro station of Delhi metro infrastructure. I visit here many times and you can get train for anywhere from Shahdara Railway station nearby to Shahdara metro. I like this metro station very much due to ease in travelling. So I strongly recommend to visit here.

Poorly managed station on the Red Line. Needs renovation and proper management. There are long queues reaching the main GT Road in the morning for security checks leading to lot of inconvenience to the aged, children and others.

शाहदरा मेट्रो स्टेशन दिल्ली मेट्रो के इतिहास में सबसे पहले चलने वाली मेट्रो ट्रेन का स्टेशन है सबसे पहले दिल्ली में मेट्रो शाहदरा से तीस हजारी स्टेशन तक चली थी ।उस समय कुछ लोग केवल मेट्रो में सफर का अनुभव करने के लिए ही यात्रा करते थे मेट्रो की टोकन खिड़की पर भी टोकन देने वाले पूछ लेते कि वापस भी आना है क्या ओर दोनों तरफ का एक ही टोकन दे देते थे।बहुत सुँदर अनुभव होता था।

शाहदरा मेट्रो स्टेशन से आप भारतीय रेल के शाहदरा स्टेशन पर भी जा सकते है।

मेट्रो स्टेशन के साथ की एक सड़क शाहदरा के पुराने बाजार की तरफ जाती हैं। और दूसरी तरफ की सड़क बाबूराम स्कूल की ओर जाती है।
स्टेशन के सामने g t रोड है जो कि पूर्व में उत्तर प्रदेश और पश्चिम दिशा में दिल्ली के कश्मीरी गेट बस अड्डे की तरफ जाता है।

Metro Service is Boon for citizens of Delhi, here at Shahdra Everything Is As usual you find on any Metro Station, and everything in Metro Worth noticing, the discipline, the Rules Getting Folllowed, the cleanliness, etc.

The 1st outlet for Metro Cash and Carry India in Delhi was opened in 2012. This outlet is within 15 minutes driving distance from any business district and serves traders, hotels, restaurants, caterers and small businesses across the city. It has more than 8,500 articles with a huge parking space for customers. Children are also allowed inside the outlet.

One of the old station from all of the above. There are 2 gate to exist from the station and its good because after the station everything is easily to reachable like Shahdara railway station is connected to this metro and Shahdara market and bus stand all the things near by this station.

My experience with this Metro Station has not been boon. I always suffered in queue unless I got the metro travel card made.

From the Shahdara, the Delhi Metro was first started. The cleanliness here is also fine. Yes, the number of token counter is very low here.

It's one of the most crowded metro station. There is lot of hussle bustle. People need to learn some basic etiquette while commuting from metro. Moreover Delhi Metro has increased the travel fare recently. God knows what's on their mind. We need to encourage people to use public transport services. Sanitation, infrastructure and security is OK, here.
