Wide open area to feel/breathe fresh air. Spacious platforms, not too neat and clean surfaces. At the time of rain one can breathe fresh air because of the plants and trees planted near by the railway tracks and platforms.
Small station with many train to and from via rohatak punjab
Worst thing I noticed there is no any public toilet on any platform.
Nearest metro station is Punjabi Bagh on five minutes walking distance. Many construction works are going on in Station area since many years.

Very bad condition.you have to cross the lain for accessing platform.no cleaning.bad infrastructure.there is only one footbridge which is too old which need urgent maintenance

Ok, if you want to go ROHTAK, JIND, JAKHAL, BHATINDA, BHIWANI. You can take your train from here or from old delhi. Shakurbasti is not maintained.

Not much clean statation but u can get trains for HISAR, BHIWANI, SIRSA for sriganganagar.ludhiana. EASLY FROM HERE. Most of work force from haryana get trains from here

Nearby metro station is shakurpur metro station on pink line, but remember it opens after 8am on Sundays, so you'll need to go to netaji Subhash place metro station which is on red line. Nearby metro station on green line is Shivani park metro.

Worst station ever visited. No maintenance, poor cleanliness. I could not locate way to platform from main entrance of station, upon enquiry 1 of staffs told me to cross tracks to reach platform. I was dumbstruck, are we talking about station in Delhi in 2019?

You can probably board all the local trains from here, however express and other long route trains do not have a halt here,

Station is clean these days, and transportation available easily from outside.

Very nice n beautiful station but not shifted totally in new building. Tracks are fully opened I mean no safety there backside of old building. They should notice it to prevent accidents.

Shakur Basti railway station is one of the dirty railway stations in Delhi. I have visited so many times and the station is not clean everytime. Also there is no proper sitting area. You can get trains for Punjab and Haryana from here. It is not safe for girl after 6 PM.

Their is no arrangements for Passengers in hot summer Days not even shelter, people have to wait for trains no proper announcements pathetic service by Railway

Poor station with broken platform. Century old building. But has connectivity and can get off here if you have train at night and are going to travel to Gurgaon/Noida with no metro available at night. Has lot of autos 24hrs.

Shakurbasti Railway station an imp railway station in delhi. Many trains halt here specially when from rohtak side to delhi. But station was not developed as compare to other stations of delhi.

No basic facilities on platforms.
Too long platform with a small shed for waiting passengers. In summers and rainly season, one has to either wait in open gor train or you have to run to catch your coach.
No facilities for elderly and handicapped persons.

It is a local railway station near Rani bagh (pitampura) from where you can get trains directly to the New delhi station, old delhi station, Delhi saraii rohilla and Hazrat nizamudin station and many more stations.

It's mainly used as local train stoppage and if you want to go to shed area, nearest liNk is madipur metro green line or ranibag bus stop. Both are right n left of shed. But be aware of coming from madipur metro station to shed during night times as there's risk of you confronting hooligans as it is in totally deserted area.

Good tickets counters. You can get tickets here in 10 minutes. And one ticket counter for girls and women. But platform ticket counter is not open here all time.

The station of the city is named as SHAKURBASTI and its station code is SSB. The station takes care of all the basic amenities of the passengers.

The station is well-connected to a number of Indian cities. Some of the major routes include to the places of Kanpur Central, New Delhi, and Chennai Central. There are 1 weekly trains connecting Kanpur Central to New Delhi, 1 weekly trains connecting New Delhi to New Delhi, and 1 weekly trains connecting Chennai Central to New Delhi.

Some of the popular trains traveling to New Delhi are Punjab Mail (12137) to Firozpur Cant operating 7 times a week, Abadh Assam Exp (15909) to Darbhanga Junction operating 7 times a week, and U A Toofan Exp (13008) to Kalka operating 7 times a week. Traveling in one of these trains will be a memorable experience.

The attractions of New Delhi are many. As soon as you enter the city, you may begin your tour as there are varied points of interest located near the New Delhi station itself.

Easy comuting local as well as Express trains. Ample space for parking, a foot over bridge starting before railway tracks near SBI ATM that make the passengers cross the tracks as well as the platforms easily. An outlet for tea and snacks is available at Platform 2. A small tea outlet is also at platform 1. Tea stalls are operational 24/7.

Lack of public convinces. Poor infra as there no covered area for passengers to wait also not much of the seating arrangement is there. Foot overbridge is too narrow there is chance of slipping on stairs. Not safe post sunset as there is illegal slum around and there are reports of people being looted

But journey is stinky due to daya basti
And large gutter in midway

And the station platform is well maintained
