Shemrock Heritage

Not an employee-friendly organization. Spineless management, who only listen to one person, the HR Head, who has 15 years of experience, including a 5 years with the company (pun intended). If you face any concerns, they won't listen to you but will treat you like a ping pong ball. If you are seeking growth and learning opportunities, this is the worst company to join. They claim to run a progressive school, but internally, they are regressive. During the interview, promises of support and a healthy environment are made, but upon joining, you experience humiliation, mental stress, and a lack of support. Also, they will deduct your salary of 15 days as security and won't discuss before your joining but you still doesn't have a job security.

Excellent place for the toddlers. School has a planned curriculum and books have a continuity for letters, shapes. Co-curricular activiites are also there. Stage performances for kids helps with the stage fear and helps in developing confidence. I have seen good growth in my kid in the tenure. She has learnt multiple rhymes and enacting them. Well there is more to say. Overall a good place for the toddlers to grow and get together with other children and develop their social skills.

Great school, great teacher's and support. My son loves school and talks about his teaching and learning at home, always pretending to be a teacher.

Excellent place for the toddlers. There are many play schools but Shemrock school is very unique. The school has best activities for the kids. Innovative teaching patterns and the school also provides various extra other activities for the kids. My son usually doesn't interact much but after going to Shemrock I could see lot of changes in him. Teachers are very good. Overall one of the best play school for kids.

The teachers are very responsible and commited and take care of the child like their own. Teachers are accessible and available for discussions about our child, Thank you for going above and beyond for our child and being such an important part in our child’s development journey.

Looking at good reviews and reference from some friends and relatives we went there with high hopes and open mind for our 2.5 year old kid.
Positives first:
1. The school is undoubtedly very spacious and open compared to other play schools in the vicinity.
2. The teacher and student ratio as she told is really good. (10: 1). Hard to find elsewhere.
3. Stress on academics. Which we really don't want at this stage. It's a Play school after all. But to each his own, maybe that's their philosophy.
4. The meal options were logical, made sense for toddlers who would not be able to or comfortable eating proper meals in school. Fruits as snacks and semi solid items like porridge.
5. Reasonable fee, no hidden charges. Didn't seem greedy or money minded.

But but but.
Despite such strong positives we decided to reject this school.

1. Focus on screen and video based education. This is a USP according to the school. As kids are anyway going to get exposed. Well, we disagree. Play school should be about play based learning only. It should be activity based education. If the school cannot manage to teach such small kids without videos and screens then sorry we are out.

2. Repeated focus on books and academics for pre nursery. A pile of books were shown. We repeatedely asked about other activities and plays, the incharge could not tell us details or a typical day schedule.

3. They have no idea about Montessori based, reggio emelia or playway philosophy of pre school education. I understand most parents don't ask or care about such things, but times are changing. And vicinity schools have educators trained in these modalities. Schools are hiring speech therapists for toddlers and here they discarded the topic altogether.

3. Finally, we were met with very hostile response from the head lady. Don't really want to put a name in public review but if the school management is reading this, then your admission incharge needs some serious soft skills training.

To summarise, We would have seriously considered this school if the lady had patiently and respectfully answered our queries.

We have no clue why she behaved the way she did. Maybe, she was having a bad day today or she dint like our faces or probably our names weren't good enough coz that's the only introduction or information she had about us.

I am glad my kid wasn't with us while we experienced such hostility. Our mood and joy went from 10 to zero after the said interaction.
We both are physicians and in a job that requires public dealing. We would never and have never behaved this way with anyone. Even when we do not want to serve someone we politely refuse to. She could have just told us that there's no more room for admission now instead of wasting our time.
Have never written such a long review but gosh that interaction left such a bitter taste. Hard to get over the attitude shown.

A best best place for toddlers to learn and fun. I visited many play schools in near area but Shemrock is the best.my son went to this school and truly saying his best best time he spent.he learned, enjoyed and his personality develops alotttt. Kaur ma'am is the best. Staff was very very well educated, polite and again best. Raahpreet ma'am, sheetal ma'am, Monika ma'am.aayas also very trained. Security is very good. Now my son is in UKG but he missed Shemrock Heritage alottt. Classes is very neat clean and decor is superb and attractive. All the teachers are very nice and kids grooming is staff guide parents also.they organize lots n lots of activities. Where kids enjoy and learn also. I am very happy and feel proud that my son went to Shemrock Heritage, sector 9.

Good location, helpful staff and basic amenities makes your child creative and sensible in a healthy environment. A nice kindergarten school for the nurturs. Its the very first step when your youngones learn to get not only the educational skills but also familiar with their surroundings in a playway method.in short one must visit here for getting more.
