This temple is built inside CPWD residential colony. Environment Very peaceful and soothing temple. Situated infront of tyagraj stadium gate number 1. Nearby metro station is Delhi haat INA yellow line metro. Around 10-15 mins walk from the metro station. Beautifully engraved structure of dashavatar on the walls. Must visit temple.

A peaceful place to visit any time.
Just below the temple there is a restaurant a proper odiya dishes to try. Which is a must to eat.

Shree Jagannath Temple
It is an excellent place where one attains peace of mind after visiting this temple. Here one must eat maha prashad after worshiping the Lord Jaganath.

Dedicated to Lord Jagannath, Jagannath Temple is an intimation of that of in Puri, and thus, is one of the prime Hindu religious centres in Delhi, especially for Oriya community. Situated in Tyagraj Nagar in Hauz Khas, this beautiful temple dates back to 1969. Initially, because of limited resources, a small was built by Sree Neelachala Seva Sangh to commemorate Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra. Later in 1991, the reconstruction of the temple started and finally, on 28th January 1999, the present temple was inaugurated. Inside the temple complex, there is also a library which houses a rare collection of religious books. Apart from this, there are also two prasad halls with a capacity of holding 200-300 devotees at a time. At present, this Hindu temple in Delhi serves as an important symbol and cultural hub of the Oriya community residing in the city. Moreover, the temple also proffers an apt insight into the prosperous culture of Orissa. During the morning and evening aarti, “Kshana madhuna Narayana manugatam” mantra is chanted by the devotees and priests.

Rath Yatra is the main festival of Jagannath Temple in Delhi. This yatra is also known as the car festival and is celebrated with the great fidelity and devotion. The festival takes place in the month of June, wherein, a chariot holding the idols of deities (Lord Jagannatha along with his brother and sister Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra) observes a journey to stay in his aunt’s house, which is Shri Gundicha Mandir, for the next nine days. On each of these nine days, Lord Jagannath is treated with all love and devoting, and hence, is being served with food, sweets, and various other religious offerings. A number of cultural programs are also organized by the temple committee. On the tenth day, the Lord returns to his own temple, which is touted as his abode. Further, there are numbers of shops outside the temple from where you can buy postcards and souvenirs for you and your loved ones.

Very good temple.in the temple premises cafeteria is also there.where you get pure veg delicacies (without onion and garlic).

Being an Odia, I felt that the mandir is a delightful place, especially for the Odia community. I had the pleasure of visiting during the vibrant Rath Yatra festival. The atmosphere was soulful, filled with devotion and joy. The architecture of the mandir is beautiful, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Odisha. The spiritual experience was truly uplifting, and the ambiance was serene. Whether you're seeking a tranquil retreat or a chance to immerse yourself in Odia traditions, this mandir is a must-visit. JAGANATH TEMPLE at Tyagraaj Colony is at prime location opposite Tyagraj Colony. The only temple near INA where devotees can have darshan of Lord Jagannath and have prasad. Here one can have pure veg Bhog at 1 to 3 pm every day. There is a veg Restaurant located having Samosaas, Sweets. Special item is Singara (Ssmosa).

It's a jagganath temple at safdarjung bus terminal, tyagraj nagar. U can visit there, it's a good place

Beautiful place. Visited around 7: 30 pm in evening. The premises is clean and calm. They serve delicious prasad. You can buy sweets, laddu etc at down stairs.

So might miss while trying to locate the temple.

They also serve abhada (prasad) but it's temporarily hault for the time being.

You can try good quality and delicious snacks at the restaurant.

Little difficult to find temple due to on going construction over there. Entry gate is opposite to gate no. 7 tyagraj stadium it like entering to construction site but temple way is clear and temple is opened according their timings

Oldest Jagannath mandir in Delhi. Small compound as compared to the Hauz Khas mandir. But the management kept it clean. There is a shoe stand, prasad shop and also you can prasad for you/family/parties and occasions as they do have a big dining hall where you can have the prasad at lunch&dinner time. Quality of food is also better as compared to the Hauz Khas mandir. Lot more to say, but if you are in around Delhi, please visit this mandir and you can spend here for 2-3 hours quality time.

The taste of food served over here is like food came from heaven which is very hygienic and enables one to satisfy his/her soul.

This Jagannath temple is well maintained. Prasad also good. I love the Jagannath temple because I am a lover of Jagannath. I always get peace while visiting Lord Jagannath.

One of the few Jagannath temples in Delhi. Very nice and comforting to visit. And if you are there dont forget to enjoy Orissa food at the cafe.

Holy Jagannath temple situated opposite to Thyagaraj Stadium. One can go here with family and friends for Prasadam which is served informing the temple prior of visit during lunch.

Have been there with my friends who was from Orissa and get an opportunity to experience of holiness of this place people were nice and even prasad was so nice and tasty many people come here for prayer

You have no spare time to visit Puri for His Darshan, You may belong to any caste, creed, sex, community, religion- wheresoever may be your place of birth, whatsoever be your language and whatsoever be your nationality. Does not matter, This is enough that you are a devotee of Lord Jagannath. You want to be associated with promotion of on rich cultural heritage Odissi, Bharatnatyam, Manipuri, Kathak etc.and rich Tradition folk dances of Odisha.

You want to be associated with philanthntric activities serving others, mostly under-privileged sections of people. You are interested in research on Jagannath Culture, you are not getting opportunity. You want to avail the services offered by the Mandir society celebrating for Social and family functions. You are an aspiring artist in classical form of Dance, but you are not getting right platform.

You are guru on any classical form of dance, music and are interested to impart your teaching to interested pupils. You are aspiring to learn nuances of classical dance, specially Odissi, but are not getting right venue to learn

This is a great place of worship. If u want to visit in peace visit it in night around 9 pm. Pl avoid Sunday's for visit. On Sunday there is huge crowd.

Temple is very beautiful from inside. Temple is not visible from main road as some construction is going on.

Everything is good and food too. The thing is you have to inform before coming to this place if you want to have launch or dinner here.

Quiet nook 'far from the madding crowd' in the heart of South Delhi. Adjacent cafe serves sumptuous, value-for-money Odisha (Orissa) delicacies. Only issue (1-2 years) is the approach road is masked behind tall NBCC construction site shuttering.

Pooja performed in time and in a disciplined way. The Sankranti Haman was performed in a nice way. Jai Jagannath!

Quiet ambience, well maintained premise, the Prasad in the restaurant below was reasonable w.r. T cost and tasty. The temple is closed in the afternoon 2-4 pm.

This place gives serenity. And the spiritual atmosphere is just can't b expressed in mere words. And the taste of the Prasad is just so awesome.

Jai Jagannath, it's a religious place for all Odia's. Cart festival is famous during season of summer. You can reach easily by metro from INA METRO STATIONS and you take e riksa from the metro station. Food facility also available here.

The temple is well built. Though the accessibility is a problem currently but it's temporary due to construction. It serves good quality, budgetary and tasty odian food.

It is Excellent Temple in Delhi. Worth to visit the temple and prasad is excellent there. You can enjoy with family and friends.

It's best place in Delhi for Hindu community and specially for Odisha peoples. The rituals of Sri Jagannathan temple of Puri, odisha is strictly followed. The Mahaprasad is offered twice, in day and night. It costs 80.00/ Mahaprasad.
A small but clean and beautiful coffees shop with all Odia snacks and eatables available there inside the campus. Accomodation facility available both single, double AC and Non AC catagory. AC single room 1200.00/ day with 9AM to 9AM (24 hrs). Booking can done by mobile app or online. Rooms are beautiful with TamV, AC, Drinking water and attached toilet with 24 hours electricity and water supply. All staffs are very much polite and humble.
Smoking, eating non veg food, drinking alcohol and other unethical and unlawful activities is very strictly prohibited.
