I purchased 15 boxes of ghever, but instead they have 14.on calling denied but accept same problem with other pack up order. Even then not refunded. 14 boxes was too full of funguson next day of purchase.from chawri it stand nowhere in quality

Great food. Good owner's behaviour. Taste of old Delhi near you. Must visit and enjoy delicacies.
Nagori Halwa is a must try. Bedmi poori is fabulous. Samosa, kachori are also best in the region. And aggressive pricing, reasonable.

Having everything from old branch in chawri bazar since 30 years and same taste and quality here i just loved the food

Shyam sweets Ashok Vihar (the original (heritage of secret spices and recipes), branch of old, famous shop in Delhi-6), same authentic taste of bedmi subzi and nagori halwa. Both of these items are must try, pure desi ghee preparations.

Very Poor Quality Kachori. Hard and Black. Teethbreaking Kachori.
Not recommend anyone to even try this.

Taste of Old Delhi in Ashok Vihar. Wide choice of sweets. Tasty samosa, kachori and chaat. Bedmi and Nagori in the morning. Clean and hygienic shop, well behaved staff.

Never ever Buy sweets from them. I purchased Moti choor laddoo from them for the first time and it tasted horrible. They are charging prices equivalent to haldiram and selling substandard items.
Laddoo were stale and tasted pathetic.

Pathetic experience with shyam sweets Ashok vihar. I purchased sponge rasgulla last week it was stinking while i consumed it on the same day i had to throw it all. Today i bought Rasmalai to serve my guests and it is sour, stinking and complete rotten. I was so embarrassed in front of my guests. Just because this outlet is near my place i happened to visit this place second time. Please don't purchase anything from here coz it is waste of money and also health will be affected adversely better go to a roadside halwai but definately not this place.

Old Delhi's trusted sweet shop is now opened in Ashok Vihar, serving best of sweets, Bedmi puri, subzi, nagori halwa, and other snacks. Must visit for food enthusiasts who know the worth of good food.

Amazing samosas and gujjia. One of the best in India. Imbibes the essence of old Delhi and India's rich and prestigious culture.

Had poori Aloo oil was to much in the sabzi, half of sabzi was floating in oil. Excepting the use desi ghee it was low quality of oil used. Otherwise taste is good

I have purchased Dhodha sweet from the shop in Morning time and it seems to be having something in it which doesn't seem to be consumable something like a thread. Although the taste of sweet is quite good but such unfortunate incidents degrade the experience.

I have paid for two plates Puri and one plate nagori halwa. But when I reached home, found that nagori halwa was missing.

Moreover, the service is not good and staff is rude.

Order 30 boxes of Sponge Rasgulla from Ashok Vihar Branch and sent to relatives directly. Taste of rasgulla at each place is so bad that one cannot in a mouth for second. Post all this, outlet is co-operative at all so please think once before ordering

Its a very average shop and not at all living upto its brand. We tried samosas and Jalebis. They were freshly prepared, in a clean environment and equipment. Packeging was also ok. However, both lacked in taste and quality. Shyam sweets is no where in front of old local sweets shops of Ashok Vihar.

Bedmi and khasta kachori are good. Shyam Sweets make their Bedmi and Halwa in Vanaspati, I suppose.
Is there any shop in Ashok Vihar, making Bedmi in pure Desi ghee?

I'm so happy that Shyam sweets has opened their authentic branch at Ashok Vihar. Earlier I use to travel to Chandni chowk weekly just to have their famous aloo bedmi nashta. Taste and quality has been maintained.
It's hard to control your hunger pangs when this shop is so closed to you. I might get sick eating oily food daily. You don't! Thanks a lot. Go get your Authentic purani delhi famous treats now! Thanks
