Horrible service, admit time was over 3 hours even though they called me earlier for some reason. Reached the hospital at 8pm and it’s currently 11pm and still have not been admitted. No answer/transparency about the process. Would not recommend

Based on my brother and father’s surgery in the same place my rating is such.
The doctors are best in class and can be trusted with the job that they are doing.
The nursing staff in the operating rooms and recovery rooms is rude and does not behave well with a patient who has undergone surgery and is alone as family is also not allowed to meet when in recovery.
The nursing staff however in the post op ward was very helpful and caring.
The ward boys are all very helpful and polite. 5 stars for them.
The reception, billing, testing area and report collection staff (basically the whole counter staff) are the worst of this hospital. They are rude. They get angry when you ask a same query to another person but would leave the counter without answering your query.
Every attendant with a patient is anxious, stressed or traumatised and the rudeness of the staff is really not welcome.
The quality of the hospital too has deteriorated a lot. Quality with food and sanitation has deteriorated.
In private opd a patient’s urine prior to me leaked and soaked the chair. I asked the opd attendant to clean and sanitise the chair. He just said let it be it will dry off. This was quite appalling. The opd attendant apart from Pandey ji was rude and filthy.

Pathetic customer service over call. The girl I was connected to was very Rude. Instead of understanding my query, she was taunting me and did not answer my questions and hang up the call in 10 seconds, it takes a lot of time to connect via IVR and then they disconnect without answering properly. Very Bad experience. She should be given some feedback. Will be making an official complaint against it.

Hospital and infrastructure is excellent but there is one Dr. In Obg Dr. Sarmistha Garg, I would not even recommend her to my sworn enemy as she, in the case of my wife, loves to push her own opinion on the pt and becomes rude and arrogant if the pay chooses other line of treatment. Kindly avoid her

The expert panel of doctors and and the management of this hospital is top notch. Expect to shell out a bomb for premium services. They just need to work a bit on the parking. I know they have a 10 story parking and unfortunately that's also not enough!: (
But keeping that aside I believe that Ganga Ram is one of the best hospital in Delhi - NCR, if it is not the best.

It is a horrible hospital. Doctors are irresponsible and no proper care is given to patients. They just want money.patients life has no meaning for them. Horrible, horrible, horrible hospital. Never go there if you want to be alive

One word - Pathetic. Doctors are good but the facilities are so bad that even a healthy person will fall sick.
For admission you may have to wait till midnight even though your admission time is mentioned 1pm.

Strategy is that they will charge the previous patient for whole day, will admit new patient around 11pm (after making them wait for 10 hours) and will charge you as well for whole day. So this is like double payment for 1 day and new patient paying full amount for 1 hour stay (11pm-12am).
Even though the previous patient is discharged, room won't be allotted on tine. A strategic, well managed scam in these facilities here.

Had a wonderful experience visiting Dr Abha Majumdar as she was very kind and understanding. Dr. Abha is a very talented doctor and has helped me very well through out my journey.
Her team is also Good supportive.specially Dr. Gaurav Majumdar who always stand / Guide for us.

Spent one week in this hospital and realised why I can give it at least 2 stars just because of good doctors nothing else. Please note nothing else eg. Room availability, service, billing, admission all are your headache in spite of you are paying for high level facilities or low level.

The worst hospital. A person waiting for a bed for 10 days and hasn't heard from anyone. What the staff says is that people have been waiting for weeks, we will let you know when your turn comes. Is it some luxury car for which we will wait for a timely treatment. It's all corruption within the hospital. The staff and management gives beds to those who come through approach while if you don't have approach prefer going to some better hospital where humanity still exists and there are fairer policies and transparency in the system.

Really bad experience while booking online appointment and the staff behaviour is very rude! Disappointed

One of the best private hospitals in Delhi. The doctors are professional. I have had many family members treated here, and have always been satisfied. There are many private hospitals in Delhi, some of them are much closer to my place than gangaram but this is one hospital where I place a lot of trust.
One caveat is that they make people use their own labs for testing which has lead to delay in one case where my dad had to wait unnecessarily for 20 days as they did not have a certain chemical for pet scan. My dad was at a critical stage of cancer and this caused him some suffering.
I still am willing to overlook this given the otherwise professional service they provide.

Doctors may be good but the hospital management and their operational services are pathetic. Why they schedule OPD appointments if they can't handle on time. No time management at all. Every patient has to wait 3-4 hrs for theor turn no matter if you have reached before or on time.

Urology dept Sachin kathuria.operated my father for a stone in kidney and he did a mistake.if he would have accepted his mistake case wont be this bad.
He didnt remove the stone and said that he removed it and he cut a nerve kidney due to which we are still facing problems.i m going to legally sue this hospital and that doctor.
Never tell them that you a health insurance.they intentionally make you stay in hospital for long

Low quality administration, covid protocols not adhered to and doctors highly negligent.

The staff is also very rude and unprofessional. It felt more like a flea market than a hospital. The entire experience from a-z was terrible.

My wife being a 2nd stage cancer patient have already been suffering from physically and treatment process is more exhausting financially as well. I want highlight few things which can prove that hospitals has become a source of great income rather than humanity and saving lives. Everything we have get a chemotherapy done, we have to wait for atleast 4-5hours to get a bed. Above all the admission staff attitude is such that they are giving it for free or not charging money.
Just a suggestion if you opt for mediclaim always ensure you have contacts or sources in hospital yo make smooth. Because TPA girls are sitting to chit chat rather than assisting people. They give you answers with so much attitude and even can be rude if you will ask a question twice. Just a request to the government as well. Please reignited the faith in doctors by improving health services. @narender modiji our very respected prime minister hope this concerns reaches you.

Its good hospital proper facilities nice staff proper hygene hospital and very nicely Service.

This is one of the most reputed hospitals of Delhi in terms of facilities and doctors. Paramedical staff appears to be more than any other private hospitals.
Majority of the nurses are working there for more than decades which speaks volumes about working condition and the management. They have built a spacious multistorey parking which relieves lot of pressure from yours shoulders. The canteen serves excellent food and their room service (for attendants of in patients) is very prompt.
Being an old hospital the OPD area is very crowded. Since the doctors are good, patients overlook this inconvenience.

Its the team of well qualified and highly experienced doctors that makes this hospital go to place for treatments. And the above rating of 5* is purely because of the doctors and not admin or facilities available.

If you rate the hospital on other parameters my rating would be:
- Admission: 1* it is not easy to get a bed in this hospital and even if you get a bed the whole procedure take around 2hrs which is torturous with patient waiting in the lobby.
- Parking: 1* they have a multilevel parking but they charge you 20 rupees per hour, so if your patient is admitted and your car is parked there.be ready to shell out few thoudand rupees for parking. For a hospital itd exorbitant.
- Cleanliness: 1* common areas are not maintained especially washrooms, you would rather avoid going there.

In a nutshell, go to this place only and only for the doctors. Else avoid.

Dr Abha Majumdar is a founding member of IVF gangaram team and is a well known IVF specialist. I would like to thank her selfless guidance and support. All the team member are very experienced, supportive and most important, ‘Honest’. The protocols and procedures followed by her and the team are extremely refined and makes it impossible for any error. One more thing I respect is the unbiased attention given to one and all.
Time and again, I have found myself having 100% faith with Dr Abha, and her fellow team members.
I highly recommend consulting her for any gynaecological issues.

Although the hospital is huge and has amazing doctors. The staff appointed to assist doctors sound totally uneducated and crude. Especially a man who assists Dr. Satvim is cardiovascular department. He has no manners in conversation and treats patient time as waste and acts all high and mighty. Haven't come across someone as ride as him in any hospital. Not even at government hospitals. I wonder when the hospital is charging so high fees in OPD and other diagnosis, they can spend a little more and hire some educated and polite people

Well maintain and obviously every hospital charge alot and yes imp thing parking fee for first hour is 120rs ans rest 20 rs per hour thats strange na but i also paid the same. Donr park outside hospital cuz by doing this you may let traffice police to tow your car.

THE BILLING SYSTEM FOR ANY TEST IS TOO SLOW AND TOO POOR. YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR ATLEAST 1 HOUR IN QUE FOR PAYMENT OF ANY TEST. THIS IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE ONLY SINGLE COUNTER FOR BILLING. BETTER YOU SHOULD AVOID GETTING TEST FROM THIS HOSPITAL. PREFER PRIVATE LABS INSTEAD.

I really didn't expect this type of behavior from the doctor's assistant. We are in 9th slot and dr. Assistant told me you are on 17th slot.this is very shameful.my father is in pain and she said you need to wait. I really didn't like this type of behavior. I really want to share the name of dr.assistant but I really don't know her name but definitely I will share the the dr. Name.anshu Rohatgi. Dr.is very nice.but I really didn't like the dr.assistant.

Doctor are very less attentive towards patient.
My mother after being diagnosed with breast cancer. We consulted known oncologist from the hospital after so many recommendations. Hospital is charging large sum of money for treatment which was not a concern as motive was to get the right treatment. However, hospitals are more concerned about money. My mother had to wait with us for almost an hour to get the admission formalities done. A fees of 2000 bucks is not a small amount for just one sitting. After being added to the bill, doctor did not came once to check my mother throughout her 1st chemo therapy. I mean their is a charge for doctor consultation fee added in the bill. However, juniors who came always said doctor will tell you everything.
However, Dr. Sandeep Agarwal who did my mother's surgery to was very attentive and did all that it takes for a patient to get a good treatment.

I had my father admitted in the gangaram hospital, it was the worst mistake of my life admitting him there, the doctors couldn't even diagnose the disease. Dr. Amrendra pathak and Dr. Vinant bhargav are responsible for his worst health today. Totally dissatisfied with the treatment, gangaram is all about spending lot amount of money and resulting no cure.
Never go to gangaram the operated for prostate which wasn't even needed.

Ganga Ram has qualified doctors and great facilities however the administration and nursing staff are utter disappointment. They are rude. They don't provide clear info. They want you to clear the counter by any means. In my case, they asked me to call and enquire however when I called administration reception does not even answer the phone. They should give clear answers however they act immature.
It's been more than 24 hours I hv been calling them and what they do is to not pick up the call.
Same is for their discharge procedure, they are super slow. They take almost 24 hours to discharge a patient and you keep running from one department to the other.
It's high time that they organise a proper channel for admission and clear response system.

The tests and reports should be done on the same block a patient has to walk a lot for the tests and to collect the reports it should be done on the same block with the related doctor and has to be delivered to the concerned doctor directly otherwise what's the difference between a government hospital and you patients are paying a fantastic amount for this

Worst hospital and their accounts department.even they do mistakes in bill.if you see their bed charges their deluxe bed charge rates is 30 percent higher then five start hotel charges.please if u have no medical policy or can't afford then go to govt hospital.

On 11th March 2019 My Daughter Shweta Pokhariyal was admitted in the city hospital with serious sympyoms of uti with severe fevere and she was shivering because of cold, we requested to housekeeping staff for extra blanket for her bu the staff quickly refused, then we have taken from our residence about 30 km far away. The house keeping staff is not at all supportive even when Incharge of housekeeping came asking for services my daughter told him about the whole incident he said I will arrange one for you from that moment till now 14th March we have not received as well as nor that Incharge came, as well as she insisted for an comfortable lower she waited for whole day still no one bothered to give her same.

Not a good experience at all. The management has to understand this that no one is willing to come to hospitals an if you guys are giving such experience, its more pathetic as it's under brand name of Sir. Gangaram Hospital and my daughter had kidney transplant in Sir Gangaram Hospital itself.

I would like the concerned authority to take action against this complaint.

NOT RECOMMENDED! One of the worst experience of my life. The doctors over here are selfish, shameless thieves who are only bothered about the money they can steal from poor patients. They have forgot their code of ethics.

As other private hospitals this also overloaded with patients. One had to shuffle between different wings for billing and tpa desk. Needs to be more organised.

Dr. Mrinal Pahwa, urology department, is a real devil. He cheated me outright asking me for a surgery without telling its side-effect - he quoted Rs. 20k but final cost came out to be Rs. 35k.

The surgery has a very bad and permanent side-effect which cannot be reversed. Even on operation table, I asked him whether the surgery will have any bad side-effect and before many other assisting doctors, he clearly said, "No. No side effect. "

But, later when I learnt that I have now that bad and permanent permanent side-effect due to his surgery. When I texted him on why he cheated me, he scolded me and said that "I told you everything. ". Such a pathetic liar and criminal donning the robes of doctor to cheat his patents.

And SGRH took no action against this devil and in fact in the criminal case filed against Devil Mrinal Pahwa, SGRH administration along with Indian Medical Association (IMA) fully supported him. Think many times before any surgery at SGRH or anywhere else - many surgeons in India are real devils with no conscience and humanity.

The staff is not at all supportive & no signs of hospitality shown. No drinking water available after admission, was given after 3 hours after being asked to, otherwise no one has served it.
No one responds to the emergency bells, then why is it being installed beside the bed. Asked for water twice & was given after 2 hours at 2: 30am.
The management has to really work upon the staff. The staff creates too much noise as one is in fish market. Not a good experience at all. The management has to understand this that no one is willing to come to hospitals, and if you guys are giving such experience, its more pathetic.

I am not from delhi and had an emergency at around 3: 00 AM in the morning.the staff were awake and took care immediately and took him to emergency. Nurse was very polite and she knew what she was doing.
Doctor was awake and took care of my father.
They charged very reasonable rate.

Poor staff people! No accurate guidance & exact answers or explanations. Non-cooperative people. Very careless staff members. I will never suggest Gangaram as a hospital of choice in need! Never visit if you are an out station patient or you have some urgency!

Lemme be honest with y’all people. My dad was admitted out here under the supervision of Dr. Anil Arora and tbh I now personally hate that doctor. I know doctors are busy but that doctor was so freaking busy that he would come to see our patient for an average time period of 30-45 secs. Is that the way y’all tell me? And leave that he had no fixed time of visiting patient like we literally waited for whole day hoping that now he’ll appear. The staff is full of laziness. I literally saw staff watching tv series and laughing at a place where patients are in a serious condition. I lost my father it’s like losing your world. All the time he was being cured out there doctor kept on saying the same thing that only option is liver transplant like even when he started recovering gradually tho he knew risks were too high cause my father didn’t have one kidney and was a sugar patient. Even tho my father was in a bad condition I still think he could have been cured if he would’ve given proper care. I hope this information will help you out in making your rightful decision and from there words I don’t mean any disrespect to doctors it’s just my personal opinion to y’all.

When you going first the reception people is too route and disrespectful they didn’t know how to take with someone who need help.
I was in this hospital to ask for surgery the cast of Gallbladder stone they told me 205000.
They will let you know to wait like 10 minutes but doctor will see you ofter 3 hours the same surgery I did in SCI international hospital it cast me with one bed single room 50000.

It's the worst hospital. They don't have any facility for the patient. Neither they take care of the patient. I seriously advice no one should visit this hospital

Among all the private hospitals, this one is the best. They have best doctors to diagnose you and charges are reasonable. They have all beaches of treatment.

Only difficulty is that the reception people are not well mannered and don't guide you properly. They will get irritated if you ask more information. If someone from the hospital authority is reading this, hope he/ she will take note of it.
