I have been practicing yoga with Smita for over a year now through her online classes, and it has been an incredible journey. Smita's guidance and instruction have helped me to deepen my practice, improve my overall health and well-being, and feel more energized in my daily life.

Wonderful sessions. Complete healing of mind, body and soul. Smita is well aware about participants body type, mental & physical State on every single day. She is not dogmatic in her teaching. Smita is Flexible in instructions, but firm to core values of Yoga.

I have been joining the online yoga of Sivananda Yoga Life for 10 months, with Smita as the teacher.
At that time I wanted to experience yoga class from India where yoga came from, since I live in Indonesia. Because of the Covid pandemic, yoga studios in my city were temporary closed.

I joined the class 3x a week and felt my body became more energized, stronger and flexible. I like the Sivananda style with the structured sequence of poses and breathing exercise because by regularly practising the sequence I feel the holistic benefit of doing yoga and I feel I can do the poses better, sinchronizing it with my breath and enjoy a mindfull practice which make me more relax but still energized, ready to start my daily activities with joy.

Eventhough it's online class, I felt like I was in the room with Smita because she can correct my poses and the other students as well. She is really a professional and experience teacher, who can give very clear but simple que to the students. As a regular yoga students I just have to focus listening to her instruction without having to look to the screen often, and this also trained me to become more focus.
In her teaching she also help building the students confidence in doing the poses by expressing sincere motivation words and appreciation if the students do well on the poses.

I feel lucky to meet Smita as my teacher. She is diciplined but kind hearted. I felt regret if I had to miss her class.
I highly recommend Sivananda Yoga Life and Smita to those who want to join yoga classes regularly without having to go to India.

Practising here made me better.both physically and mentally. The yoga hall is wonderful.very big.clean.well maintained and calming. Samita Ma'am is yoga instructor. She never force anyone to do asanas beyond ones limit. She have great vision, very polite.kind and always inspiring. I have no words to describe the change in me. When I open my eyes in morning.first of all I thank Samita Ma'am. I am more peaceful than earlier and very hopeful for better life. Thanks a lot!

I have known Smita since 2014. She is simply a wonderful teacher! I have moved countries and states since 2014 but I have gone back to Smita for help every time I found myself slipping in terms of physical health. I highly recommend her classes - in groups as well as personal ones, both online and offline format.

I have been associated with Sivananda yogalife for the past 5 years. We are fortunate to have Smita as our yoga guru who is a dedicated and commited teacher. I thank her from bottom of my heart for making me realise the potential and flexibility of my body.
I found that over the years my body 's agility, flexibility has increased so much due to the regular practice of holistic set of asanas and pranayama. I enjoy the classes as she introduces new combinations frequently that challenges your capability and makes one stronger.
I should agree that now it has become a habit to attend and enjoy the hour long class. Thanks Smita for introducing yoga to my life.

Can’t thank our teacher Smita mam enough. Have been practising since 2015 with mam. Have strengthened my knees a great deal, no pain at all. My posture has improved. Don’t get tired even after 10-12 hrs of strenuous day.

I recommend everyone to join Sivananda yoga classes by Smita mam. I recently travelled extensively over last 7days. Changed planes almost everyday. Took long 14 and 16hour flights. I can say I didn’t get tired. My legs, knees were trouble free. I could hop across very easily and stayed active and agile. All thanks to MAM’s yoga classes and intense leg work. I recommend everyone to take these classes preferably physical and for all those already in the group, don’t miss classes.

I have been practicing yoga under their guidance for more than 10 years. Suffered from Back pain, Cervical and joint pain, now, there is negligible pain thanks to the continuous training under Smita ma'am.

I have been regular to Yogalife. The Yoga here has helped me greatly. Thanks to these regular Yoga classes that my all parameters are at normal level despite a very hectic schedule. Smita ma'am is one of the best Yoga teachers you can ever have as she constantly keeps ensuring that our postures are correct and we put in our best. 90 Minutes of daily Yoga classes energises us for the whole day. The class is full of so much positive energy that if once we start it is almost impossible to skip the daily routine. Thanks a lot Smita Ma'am for constantly working towards ensuring our well being and good health.

I have been a student of yogalife for 6 years now. Smita ma'am is one of the most dedicated and experienced teachers that I have come across and practising in her class in the school is a different experience all together, something that can only be experienced and not described. What sets her apart from other yoga teachers is her discipline for the practice and the fact that she never pushes you to do an asana. She understands intuitively the strengths and limitations of each student and helps us build on the strengths while overcoming the limitations with patience and regular practice. I would strongly recommend her and Yogalife for a healthy body and mind, one that would stand the ravages of time and stress gracefully. Thank you ma'am for being strict with us and also such an inspiration.

I have been practising yoga on and off since many years but last year when I was unable to go out due to COVID situations, my niece suggested joining Smita’s online Sivananda yoga classes. Believe me this is one of the best things to have happened in my life.
Smita is very punctual and systematic. Yog asanas are designed in such a way that each and every part of your body is taken care of.
Before joining, I used to wear knee cap while exercising, due to pain in my right knee. I did not even realise how and when my knee pain is completely gone due to yoga, it’s such a relief.
I also joined Smita’s weight loss program, lost 4 kg in one month and aim to continue following her instructions on yoga and diet program in order to loose some more weight.
Overall I find this program a very healthy way of loosing and maintaining the lost weight and highly recommend it to every body.

Great experience learning the practice of yoga over the Internet. Despite being on Zoom, the quality of sessions is always great. Smita ji always pays lot of attention to the detail and I am always amazed by her eagle eye providing feedback on finer points during the poses. The sessions are well designed and very methodical, and I have greatly benefitted from joining the practice, and would highly recommend Sivananda Yogalife to anyone interested in following the practice of Yoga.

Namaste Smitta I'm writing from British Columbia, Canada to thank you for the wonderful course entitled Weight Loss and Detox, that was recently held over five weekends with direct supervision by you during the weekends classes; included were directions for us participants to practice the programme during the week and support regarding programme dedicated foods and kriyas; I felt completely supported throughout and always knew you were there to answer concerns and questions promptly, when needed. I had discovered your studio when I decided two years ago to make a committment to myself to practice Yoga at at home by myself five days a week. I am familiar with the Sivananda school so I looked for Sivananda teachers on You Tube. After trying few classes I found Yogalife.in and quickly recognized Smitta's  leadership, teaching skills and deep knowledge about yoga as an eightfold practice. The class was taken over Zoom but I could have been in the studio as I got plenty of attention from Smitta to make sure I was doing the asanas correctly; Bina provided demonstration as needed. I lost 3kgs which is still off. I feel more flexible and my mind is more sharp and have more energy. I also feel more comfortable because I'm eating food that is much more Sattvic and therefore easier on my digestive tract. What I love about the Sivananda School of Yoga is its Standardization, which means I can go anywhere in the world and will receive the same standard of teaching as I would at any Sivananda Ashram in India I did not have to take time to learn new systems. Smitta thank so so much for your deep dedication and sincerity and amazing personal attention to me. I would not hesitate for even on second to recommend Yogalife.in and your studio.
