I know this place from the days when we didn't even use mobiles. They are as good as day one. Enjoying my stay and tour again after 15years

They are trust worthy but not worth the money you spend. My parents went to Chardham trip with Southern Travels and yes you can trust them but they have worst coordination among their branches. Hyderabad team doesn't know anyone from Delhi team and vice versa. You pay them the money and after several requests and scoldings they will give receipts. I felt the service has been the worst. Hyderabad team won't give you any contact information of Delhi team, you have to beg them if you want any information.

We explained our itinerary Delhi to Jaipur in one day while booking transport. But the drivers who came to pick us was more concerned to takeus sightseeing what he wanted us to see. At 1pm he wanted to do the return journey. We had to keep on saying we only wanted to see what we asked for.

Joined in fixed tour of chardham which departs from their Delhi office in a bus. The tour covers all the four dhams of yamunothri, gangothri, Kedarnath and Badrinath in eleven days. Had good dharshan in all the temples. Guide helped us in visiting all the other places also enroute. Fully satisfied with their services.

They gave a fentastic luxury room around 2500 in karolbagh and provide a south Indian foof also. Thank you for your service

Southern travels Delhi. Cab was booked well in advance. On the day of travel they were late to pick and no prior information to me. I had an appointment which I could have missed because of their negligence and poor response. Because of their negligence I have to pay extra charges. Chose some other travel agency for local sight seeing.

My recent experience of Char Dham yatra with Southern travels was Pathetic. Worst service I have ever experienced.why would someone book a package from this kind of service providers? To make the travel Hassel-free right? But It didn't really happend in our trip.

Few points to be noted:

1. The dining area at the in Haridwar was totally unhygienic.
2. In Badrinath they made the qhole 27 PAX of our bus to walk uphill though the bus was able to drop us right in the parking area they refused to do it and later apologized for doing the mistake which is totally absurd. There were diabetic patients, senior citizens like my parents who were distressed with this kind of act.
3.partiality- There were 4 buses during the trip and passengers of bus no. 2 has got special top-class services gaining the favour from Guide and everyone knows why such special treatment could be offered
(Right from providing the rooms in Ground floor to offering the fresh food)
4. And at last while returning to Delhi from Haridwar these people suddenly told us to shift into another bus in shirt notice and made us to wait under the sun for an hour, they even don't have any waiting room to my surprise. Even our gudie has no clue of what was happening and due to the delay we happened to reach delhi late than the expected time.
Totally zero professionalism in terms of service. I would never recommend anyone to book your services.

Very bad express is negligence persons no responsible anything and also we travel not supported with he said two person but he provaided four members washrooms we are waiting for latoff time no watter bottle provaided this is my first day experience

We 7 people booked through Southern for CHARDHAM owing to their reputation but had bitter experience, especially from Guptakashi to Kedarnath. Incompetent management by guide and local Manager, despite knowing that the Bus is under repair and cannot be moved, made no alternate arrangements. We all were ready by 4.00 am (another 9 people) and waiting at their Rampur hotel but nobody to tell anything only after lot of persuasion, they spoke to their higher-ups and arranged Bus No. 1 at Guptakashi for proceeding to helipad at about 6.00 am. This all resulted in paying huge money to local tempo for dropping us at helipad and due to late reporting, our turn had come for helicopter only after 9.30 that too in three batches. This had resulted in huge gathering and big queues at Kedarnath, forcing us to seek some Pandit's help to bypass queue and get the token n proceed to Temple by paying around Rs. 150000/- for our three families. Similar is the case with all other people in our group CHARDHAM Bus No. 2 (25.05.2022 to 04.06.2022). Similarly, paid Rs. 1000 each way to bus parking lot to helipad each way. This all owing to mismanagement by Southern Travels people. Can we seek any compensation?

Worst service ever. Especially if you end up having to coordinate with Vikas from southern travels please be wary, he is only after the money. We were left stranded in guptakashi without a hotel room in the middle of the night with my elderly parent and kid, they don't care about their customers, money making machines. Our hotels were not booked properly and the hotels that were booked were also far away from the char dham pilgrimage location

South indian food in north india here is just so good. But when it comes to cleanliness the guest washrooms are not maintained at all. When it comes to hotels, restaurants and fuel station the washrooms should be well maintained so that any guest or public can use it without hesitation and by not choosing to urinate in the public or on the high way.

Please do not book tickets by online. They don't operate all the tours but bookings are still open. We had bitter experience today to know that the local Delhi Darshan has been stopped but online booking is still on. The callous attitude of the staff adds salt to the wound. They weren't even making any alternate arrangements for the people who had booked.

Very worst experience with this travels.we went to Chardham yatra through this travels they left us in middle.

Southern Travels needs to revamp their approach towards customers of Southern states who are interested to visit Delhi from the travels they think belonging to Southern states.

A good place to stay. Rooms are good. Management is understandable. However location isn't apt to find a good food joint nearby. It's in Karolbagh & all the locations for visit are far from here. Try booking over the counter because you may book at a cheaper rate than the rate displayed over the app.

It's a nice place but it's not so good compared to hotel's in Bengaluru. But if your from South india and you want South Indian food you must visit there

Very good place to buy spices and other household items which are available in stores down South India. Must visit for people who would love to cook authentic south indian food at their home.

Better to plan our own travel plan.the people in Delhi who work for southern travels n hotel are not well behaved.

Fraud hotel in delhi.guys be sure if your going to book this property.we booked and they allotted to annexer building instead of main building.in that building u will definitely find cockroaches, lizards, mosquitoes etc.very untidy n unhygienic in cancellation they deducted 10% of yiur room rate.no pick up from airport.no dropping either.package was included local trip but they demanded 600 plus tax per head additional.wo over all its a bad hotel.better book hotels in make my trip app which is 100% geniune.

One of the Best budget Hotels in New Delhi for South Indian dishes and for stay also. Staff support for tourists and travel is commendable.

Went to Jaipur, Agra, Fatehpursikri and Mathura with them - guide at Jaipur was not knowledgeable (when quizzed on jantar mantar) and did not accompany us to Aamer fort (raining heavily) and poor accountability. Guide at Fatehpur sikri was very knowledgeable and speaks good english. Guide for Agra was ok but did not accompany to Taj and guide at Mathura was very decent.timings poorly maintained (partly due to fellow travelers taking longer) and no information of bus timings in advance before boarding (if you are boarding outside of southern hotel). One day dinner was at 11pm and room service order at ujwal hotel took more than one hour and hotel promised as per plan was zone by the park but given ujwal.thats a surprise.

Very disappointed with the service they are offering, had booked a 3 day tour to Varanasi online, they haven't sent the correct booking vouchers of the hotel and the contact persond has not attended the call directing on his mobile as well in all the 3 days nor has responded on the email.

Hotel was booked only for two days and hotel asked to checkout on the 3rd day morning, but my tour concludes only in the evening, and i had to endup paying for a day extra before checkout.

No where the timings were mentioned on the itinerary on the website nor was informed after booking.

Not all places were covered as per the itinerary and the driver/guide is the only contact person on all the 3 days and doesn't understand anyother language other than his mother tongue.

Every day tour starts at 6AM and breakfast is only available at the hotel after 7.30 am and we had to pay extra for the breakfast that we had on our visit to the places. (Breakfast was included in the itinerary but none of the days we had it at the hotel and travels has not paid for it).

To address all these problems no person is available to speak on behalf of southern travels and the customer care will ask to speak only to the contact person and my contact person Aravind never answered the call.

I dont recommend this to anyone and i will not book through Southern travels in any of my future travels.

Happy and safe to travel with kids.best recommended travels. We visited shimla Manali tour.it was good and the tour manager (Mukesh) was very helpful. ENtire tour was, as per the plan. Driver Sharma done his duty perfectly. Liked their rooms and food. Planning for chardam Yatra with the same travels.

Haus was good but guide won't come with us to explain inside.every where no need of waste time in ticket que they will purchase through online on behalf us else everything was good

Worst service ever. I don’t recommend this travel company. They can’t even provide alternate transportation from Chandigarh to Delhi as our car is having trouble with AC.

Worst travel agency, Don't believe these guys, SO many managers no one will know what other person promises, in tours this guys have a meal package everywhere with only DAL not any other things, The hotels which they book for their customers are worst of the worst ones, i heard it is the worst one in india after travelling with them.

We had a haridwar rishikesh trip in may 2019 in which Mr. Varun Kumar was the guide. He was very unprofessional and was trying to get commission at every point like hotel, auto, trolleys etc. He made us pay the cost of his tickets also. He made the bus stop at an unauthorised place of parking. We had to walk around 2 kms.to reach the bathing ghat. May b to save the parking charges. He did not even show us any Ashrams mentioned in the itinerary. He was trying to extract commission wherever possible and he doesn't have much knowledge of the spots. Even the driver was continuously smoking beedis and the smell was coming in the bus. Driver was not starting AC even when v requested. Company is requested to take action as v come from very far places and please don't spoil the holiday spirit/mood of the tourists.

We travelled with these people for do dham yatra that is kedar and badri. They arranged everything well except the bus In the AC is uncontrollable too cold if switch it off too hot. Up to rishikesh we need AC from then it is GHAT Road so no need of AC. Otherwise the travel and food shelter are well organised.

Such a bad service and illmannerd office staff to misguided customers. I would ever gonna recommend thier service. Very bad bad bad service and staff I never seen in my entire life.

Good arrangement of trips done here. But they couldn't give GST invoice for me which i asked there customer care, Sent mail to them, Asked their receptionist. No response till date.

One of the BEST for stay and tours both national and international.
Southern travels has hotels and travel desks all through the country and franchises outside. They have been continuously winning the ITAA award and speaks volumes for their travel and tourism industry.
This doesnot make the hotel very costly or tour packages unaffordable. What i loved about the tour packages was the personalised details and security if the tourists that they took care of.
Dont firget the Southern Suoerstore at the basement. Whatever of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra, Tamilnadu you get there.
Food in their restaurant, yummy and also hosts Anand Adayar Bhavan.just fingerlisciois. Go visit and enjoy

Good hospitality. Good food. As the bus didn't fill up they arranged a 4 wheeler for the tour. Initially they asked me to pay but by seeing my track record with them they cancelled the charges as well. Overall experience is good

Very poor service. Bus they provided was not ok. It was so slow that it took around 5 hrs to reach agra ans same while returning back to delhi. Due to this we missed darshan of shri krishna janambhumi in mathura.

Wherever driver stopped bus for breakfast, lunch and dinner- food was pathetic and too expensive. These people must be having their commission set.

In vrindavan they took us to a small temple where pulari was asking for money. He was having multiple package.

Overall Very bad service provided.
