Do not go there very bad condition.staff and guard is very rude i swear i gonna hit them if i was not in problem.i suggest you not you go there.

There must be a call facility system only for operated patient (from hospital) in initial days after surgery in every 3-4 day (if possible one of surgeon) for mental support and exercise (strict guidance about TO Do, Not to do) guide to patient after operation.
This will definitely increase the popularity and rating of hospital!
It looks like it is good for the local people who can come after driving of few hours!

Dr Deepak Joshi is a fine surgeon. I underwent a third surgery on my knee for ACL revision and I feel fit and healthy after a year of the same. Many thanks to the entire SIC team for taking care of me. However, there is still scope for improvement when it comes to admin processes and documentation. It is too time consuming. Facilities and doctors are top notch.

Psychotherapy or gym wala ek no ka kaam choor hai na dekhta hai patents ko na hath lgata hai bs ESI he dekhta hai

My experience was bad overall, Doctor didn’t listen to the problem and didn’t examine my shoulder properly. I had injury with weight lifting in my left shoulder that was coming to my left elbow but instead of examining he straight away wrote golfer’s elbow that too incorrect hand.

I wonder why such careless people are appointed at these Valuable posts.

Might be good for some major ligaments injury but they need to examine properly, literally disappointed.

Lack of time management. First they will give you a time slot for MRI and when you go there on time and then you have to wait for 2 to 3 hours. Its ridiculous

I had done acl double bundle surgery in 2015 from SIC but it failed after 10 days of surgery but i waited for 1 year because of proper physiotherapy but it did not help, i tore my graft again in an activity then i have done revision acl reconstruction single bundle from SIC it is successful but still my knee is not that stable after proper physiotherapy and recently i teared my other knee ligaments (acl and lcl) while playing badminton because i did not able to put full load on my previously operated knee and today done my third surgery in bhopal

You are given a token number, wait till its your turn then proceed to registration counter and after that you can consult with the doctor.

The token number distribution starts at 6: 00 am (morning)

Registration timings 8: 30 am (morning) - 12: 00 pm (Noon)

I had an appointment with Dr Deepak joshi before 2 weeks i was much satisfied with his examination as many Doctors suggest me for the surgery of meniscal tear but he refused me to go for surgery nd take medicine first nd review after 3 weeks he is a good human being
Nd now I am waiting for his further suggestions

It's awesome place to get your knee, shoulders and other sports injuries to be rectified, Doctors are that perfectionist, humble and good that words can't define their expertise and persona, I am thankful to Dr Vineet Jain for getting my knee surgery done and will always be indebted to him, go for surgery there without thinking twice, just don't buy surgical equipment from inside the hospital which some hospital staff who acts as a middleman provides and they might be making good money from commission but they provide worst quality and price is 3 times the market, buy it from some good surgical shop outside because quality matters too leaving aside the price is being charged inside, thy tynor knee brace which is considered best is 750 to 800 in market and they give some local knee brace at 1200 which is not ergonomically designed leave aside the quality.

I am not satisfied because they couldn't help me to get back on track (even though Dr.and staff wad good but still they couldn't deal with me injury i went there because i thought they help in complex sports injuries but i was wrong they cant help in complex injuries
Also they have too many other patient which are not from sports and because of that crowd they cant treat you well
After few months of treatment they found there is no improvement and then they refer me to the head Dr. NAYAK and same think happen they he was having too much patients and he don't have enough time to see properly every time i went in he just the reports or what did he write last time in prescription and then he write another medication different and that's it
he dont check you physically because he dont have enough time as there are lot of patient waiting outside of his door
As an international Athlete i was expecting that Sports injury center (which is build to help athletes to get back on track) will help me but it couldn't
i had hopes athletes who are not able to pay for much for there treatment SIC will help them but sadly it didn't later i find out this happened with many of athletes

Go to sports injury centre in safdarjung only if you want to spend your entire lifetime on treatment

Highly unprofessional doctors who will give you appointment of certain dates and when you go there, doctor won't attend you inspite of making you wait for very long hours

Doctors will just do timepass by ordering repetitive ultrasound, xrays, mri and what not but they won't be able to zero in on what is the reason of a certain problem that patient has reported even after following up for more than an year there

Highly disappointed

Don't recommend at all

It is better if you go to a private hospital and get timely treatment

Good facility, rarely to be find at any government hospital. Specialy for sports related injury its the best with world class physiotherapy center
-Timing 8: 30 to 11: 30
-They start giving number from around 8 so if you reach early its good
- Everyone waits outside for his/her number series to be called
- then at reception you can tell you problem basic details and they will make your doctor paper with room number
- go to room number and submit your paper to gaurd sitting outside room
- depending on the stack size your number will come
- everything is fast and managed very well
Do forget to thank gaurds there they are doing excellent job to keep everything organized and smooth

9th Feb 2021, Arthroscopic partial menisectomy.
I have had first hand experience of treatment at Sports Injury Centre, Safdarjung Hospital. First, the infrastructure is world class with state of the art OT, private ward which is extremely well maintained. Staff are courteous, polite and well mannered.
The doctors are very experienced and they know exactly what they are doing. They talked extensively about the injury and understood the problem well. After the surgery you get visits from doctors every hour taking regular updates. Dr. Skand Sinha and Dr. Ankit Goyal performed the operation, they were brilliant. Diagnosis was done by Dr. Dheren Mondal. Dr. Khyati Vakharia, Dr. Shwetasri Mohanta and Dr. Pavnish Yadav (PG residents) were all extremely helpful in completing the successful arthroscopic surgery.
This hospital is the best in country with top specialists from the sports Injury field.
Also, it was free of cost.
Big thank you to all the doctors and support staffs. You guys are awesome.

This is been just a week when I had ACL surgery from Safderjung Sports Injury Centre, I really like the management of the hospital and the people associated with surgery unit, My great regards to Dr. Sandeep Joshi and his unit to making me feel very much comfortable during pre and post surgery time. Dr. Joshi carrie's a very fine hand and diligent speed while operating any patient. I wud love to advise others to do their surgeries from Dr. Joshi if any wud ask for suggestions. May God bless Dr. Joshi a good health n his team best of luck for their upcoming surgeries. My regards to Dr. Akhil n Dr. Chaten for helping me in my paper work n guiding me about the procedure.

Dedicated hospital for Sports related injuries. Located within VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital. Expert and Senior Doctors available. An initiative by the Central Government, hence very cost-effective. OPD is crowded most of the time. Best place for Arthroscopy, but service is similar to a Government hospital.

Here most of the cases are entertain by PG resident doctors who lacks experience.without proper diagnosis, they treated me for patellar tendenitis for 11 months.but my MRI report shows incomplete tear of medial meniscus.

Worst Doctors and Staff.
If you're going without approach/reference, then please don't go.
They only want to treat Govt officials, and their relatives.
Else, they will just ruin your problem further. They did my surgery, aggravated the problem and now not even concern a bit.
They will not take any charges in the hospital, however invite you to near by Tapri/outside hospital for the payment. Worst hospital in the city.

Best place for arthopedic problems doctor is good, staff is also cooperative no fees only for tests charges physiotherapy doctors are very cooperative

Dr Chewang sir and Dr Deepak sir are good and are showing interest in treating the patients unlike a others doing their job.

I had an appointment for MRI here with Mahajan Imaging Centre housed in this building for a medical tie-up with SJH-SIC. But the reception cum appointment keeper not informed me before hand about the technical issues and i had to returned back without the imaging done due to irresponsibleness of the person who was on duty. He didn't inform me that MRI is out of order since 3-4 hours and who had appointment he did not inform about the non-availability of the service.

Heard from my friend about treatment of his wife at this center. She was suffering from knee pain for many years. Now she is absolutely fine after getting treated just 6 months.l am planning to visit the hospital for my knee pain.

Why it's name is sports injury centre? Why they are treating normal injuries too? Not only for sportsman. They should change there name. There are so many hospital for normal people or normal injuries. Poor staff
But doctors are brilliant.

The doctors are quite brilliant, and the facilities are great. However the service provided is poor. The guy at the reception just left for something and there was no replacement and I had to wait for a long time with the waiting line getting longer. If someone does have important work and has to leave the reception desk, I believe it's better if a replacement is provided at the reception.

Neat and clean ambiance, staff is very supportive, they are good in their service. All tests are very reasonable price.

The hospital is situated inside Safdarjung hospital. It provides treatment for orthopaedic problems except for lower back pain, cervical and spinal pains. Hospital is less crowded in comparison to other OPD in Safdarjung. Staff is friendly, doctors are experienced and nice. You can visit for treatment and surgery. Appointment is available online as well as on the counter.

A govt hospital and if u can afford the medical expenses don't come to this place. Doctors are qualified but other medical staff are rude

Well managed hospital with excellent facilities. Probably the best hospital for sports injuries in India. I saw many sportspersons around for their treatment. There is a long waiting of no less than 6-8 weeks, keep that in mind before planning your visit for taking an appointment for surgery. OPD is quite easy to get in, busy but not so difficult to meet the doctors.
