Summer House Cafe

Don't expect coffee, we thought cafe, so will have coffee, but no. Its okay, the weird thing is staff is not cool. We sat on roof top, there were people smoking, we were not comfortable, so requested to be seated downstairs. They moved us. But we heard them saying its a party place, and they have issues with smoking.firstly dude we have been to all sorts of party places you don't even know about. So chill. And people usually are very cooperative. These guys should be trained on hospitality first. Overall, won't recommend. Won't re-visit.

Decent cocktails. Safe crowd. Interesting vibe n fun music. Bad food (veg).
Service staff is not cooperative or courteous.
Mostly fully reserved on weekends.

This is a good place to hangout in south delhi, this place is located inside aurobindo market, in weekends this place is jam-packed and music and drinks goes on till late night, it's better to reserve your table before you check in.it is very popular among university guys, food is fine and bar is well stocked, go there for good music.

Never have red sauce penne pasta very bad taste.
Mediterranean mezze platter very very bad.

Amazing place. Really good vibes. The crowd is great. A Coldplay band member has also played here in the past. The place is pricey though.

Tasteless food and even worse service. I literally had to shout for water. No staff was willing to come and take the order. I would never recommend going there.such a wastage of time and money. Ruined the whole mood

They don't offer rooftop seating to people who book a table through Zomato. Please call them before going.food is good but cocktails are strong.

I don't know why but I don't like it as much as I would love to. The food, drinks and music is good. The crowd not so much.

Quite a good night club to dance with your loved ones. The perfect crowd for nightlife and music played is brilliant. Loved to be here.:)

It was a lovely Friday Night that i planned to go out with my friend for a nice and lovely evening at Summer House Cafe at Aurobindo Marg. I have been here earlier with friends on their Birthday and a couple of times more. However xxth xx xxxx was the unlikely day i experienced the absurd and irrational hospitality at their rooftop bar. In the middle of an utmost important conversation & some drinks & food, one of their staff walks to us and asks us "u'll have to get up, we have reservation" and yes he kept insisting on it. While the drinks are full on our table, its been not even an hour (that i realized later), i was quite shocked by the statement itself. Reacting to the situation i said let us finish our drinks atleast, but be generous enough to not stand right on our heads.

Mr. Manish, a supervisor or manager handled the situation even well by coming exclusively for us and telling us that u cant talk like this and this felt like i just watched the last episode of GOT. Our moods were turned, evening was spoilt, not possible to make up for. It this how we should be treated in first case. A evening well spent is a day well lived but for today it wasn't this evening.courtesy to Summer House

Love the ambience. Drinks and food is quite inexpensive. Good for friends hanging out after the office hours.

The crowd is not too good and specially nobody cares to give yo a table or not. The housekeeping is also a little shabby. It is more of a students place so thank before you go. Even if you are a nicely dressed couple and order good food they don't care as I think it is mostly about tipping waiters before the service or something.

Crazy club located near Hauz khas village. The ambience is just too good and I went there on a Saturday night the dj was too good. And drinks were also great. Must visit and you must reserve a table before visiting as it will be already full.

Summerhouse is a great place for a mix of many things. It's a good place to socialize, dance, grab a drink or have some great finger food. It is one of the few places which has been consistent through the last couple of years and is still running strong.

They have a different theme for the evening everyday of the week.

The decor and ambience of the cafe is good enough. But I didn't really have a good experience here. I had called the cafe and asked them to reserve a table, which they confirmed. But when we arrived, we were told that no table had been reserved for us. I had heard very good reviews about this cafe and had expected a better experience.
With respect to ambience and location, it's good. But with respect to customer service and behavior of staff, a big zero! Extremely impolite staff, and because of the fiasco regarding our reservation, I must say inefficient as well.
And did I mention that it is unnecessarily expensive? If this place charges so much, it should at least teach it's staff to behave.

Favourite hangout place with something good to offer everytime you visit. Awesome DJs perform here. Salsa night is also super. Food is very good.all the items from the menu are tasty. Good deals on drinks are available through Zomato gold

The weather was perfect for a terrace sitting, the company was brilliant for the evening, the place was equally good and it was brimming.

The music could be better but then I am sure it was one of those days.

After traveling to 9 countries in Asia, this is the most uncomfortable i have ever been at a bar. I did not feel safe at all. I was harassed all night by this Indian guy and the workers just stood around and laughed. The guy kept coming in my face and shouting but of course as a visitor I would be at fault if I reacted. At the end of the night when I told the man at the door how I felt about how they handled the situation, all he said was "it was very crowded". This experience tainted my entire night.

I like the ambience, open rooftop space, food tastes good too and affordable pricing. The only thing which is missing - an attentive service. Not only it is slow, even warmth is missing, one may keep waiving hand to call for service or order, they serve you with their own convienence and time.
So 3 stars only because of not so good service part.

This place is primarily a evening/late night party place but since they are open for lunch, I thought I would give it a try. They have a small outdoor space over looking the parking lot. I don’t understand why at lunch time they have the music blaring so loud that the two of us could not carry on a simple conversation. The food was ok but nothing to right home about

The quality of food has drastically deteriorated. Added to that, the indifference of the staff made for a bad experience.
