One of the best restaurants in Delhi NCR in terms of taste. Their Dal Makhani is very popular and by far the best Dal Makhani I have tried in Delhi NCR. Apart from Dal Makhani, their Malai Kofta is also very rich in taste. But there is no car parking space at this place so avoid coming here by car. Dal Makhni 5/5 Malai Kofta - 4.5/5 Hyderabadi Veg Briyani - 4/5 overall - 4/5
Have been going to the place for the last 21 years but off lately, everything has changed. Service standards have become pathetic, management as well as serving crew - are rude. Unlimited waiting time, cold food served, and manager has excuse for everything. No respect for a customer who has been visiting their outlet for the last 21 years. Will never be visiting or ordering online at the place.
We have taken out Daal makhani, kadhayi paneer, malai kofta, paneer do pyaza, tandoori roti, and gulab jamun. All food taste was so average.it was just like roadside local dhabha or like 50₹ thali. But they have charged like Haldiram or Heera sweets.
It is so expensive according to taste and service. If you can spend 1000-1500 for four persons than must go a reputed restaurant like Haldiram.
We will not recommend it. The worst experience of food. They have made only few selected gravies and served all the items in that gravy. Roti was also not good.
I bet, you will not be able to find such a tasty Veg Food, across Delhi. Especially it's pudina paneer, Pindi chana & Suvidha special dal makhni, is to die for. Simply awesome.
I have been visiting this restaurant since childhood and the taste hasn't changed one bit. This is the place for most authentic and delicious north Indian food.
The favourite ones are - Dal Suvidha - Chana Masala - Pudina Paneer - Shahee Paneer
They also serve delicious Makke ki roti and Sarson ka sag in winters. Don't forget to sprinkle the chat masala on dishes.
Probably, the dal suvidha special is one of the best dal makhni i have had in my life. So creamy, so rich and so thick.amazing taste.nice and clean place, air conditioned and a must must try for an affordable, pure and delectable vegetarian lunch or dinner meal.
Tawa roti is so perfect tht u will forget home cooked one. Its the best in the area, though some veggies are bit oily. I wish, restraunt replace soap with hand wash liquid for hygiene reasons
If I could give zero stars to this place I definitely would.the food is average, there is nothing special about the taste. However my rating is based on the cleanliness & attitude of the employees. The tables have dirt on them & WHILE we were eating they turned on the AC which had rocks & dirt.the tiny rocks fell into our food due to their filthy vents. They did not offer compensation or anything in return of adding dirt to our food.this is a terrible establishment. I couldn’t even finish my food & left with an empty stomach. Please do not come here, it’s a waste of time & money.
Suvidha is a hidden gem. It's a simple looking low budget restaurant which makes an awesome daal. They cooked it over night and makes it really tasty with desi ghee. Its Must try if you visit old delhi. Don't get trap for overrated things like parathe wali gali. Go suvidha and have daal suvidha.
If you are running low on budget and still want the most amazing north indian vegetarian food, then there's no better place in Old Delhi than SUVIDHA. Located in the street adjacent to Golcha Cinema, Daryaganj. I have been enjoying its delicacies my childhood.
Daal Makhni and Paneer butter masala are their signature dishes. Malai kofta is also excellent.
I'm a big fan of eating daal chawal and their kashmiri pulao with daal makhni taste heavenly.
Don't go for ambience, just try their food and you'll surely get hooked!
Serves good quality north Indian food with exotic taste. Do not go after the interior of the restaurant. Good food is what matters and they serve the same!
