Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar is running an initiative called SOCH where they have asked parents to join them for an Heritage walk to Lodhi Gardens. I was never a history student but when I joined the walk and got to know about the history behind each and every monument in the Lodhi Gardens. The SOCH team members were full of knowledge and they explained in a way that I got interested in history. Earlier history used to be taught inside the classrooms which was a bit boring but now I can say that we can learn outside the classrooms which is interesting and refreshing. Thank you Tagore International School for this initiative. I hope my son will now be more excited to read his history books and would request to the school to do these kind of Heritage walk more frequently. Thank you (Parent of Adhyan Juneja, class- 4A)

My child has been studying in Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, since class 1. We recently shifted outside Delhi and got him admitted in class 7 in a CBSE school over there. After just a year of schooling there, let me admit frankly we miss the discipline, environment, quality of education of TIS. My kid had grown to be an overall confident, disciplined, honest and diligent person due to the mentoring the teachers at TIS. We are now of the opinion that for schooling TIS Vasant Vihar is the best option for our kid. Even if my professional life continues outside Delhi, my child will complete his schooling from TIS. It is extremely important for my kid's overall education and growth.

Long association with the school. 18 years to be precise. The best decision that we took was to get our kids admitted here. TiS taught my kids the values which in today's times is the most essential. Both of them today are confident kids and thanks a ton for the same to the overall personality development attitude of the Principal and the teachers here.

Very good school for discipline. Good quality education. School motto is very powerful. That's is in Sanskrit language. I am worthy of it.

This is good platform for children's who are doing education, it's very most important for children's to learn knowledge.

The school is excellent for academics and other activities needed for your child's overall development. What I found appealing is a discipline that is uncommon in today's society, and most of us find it to be the only source of irritation. Only discipline and a quality education can transform a student's life. I want to thank Madhulika Sen Mam for continuing to successfully provide the fundamental components of the best education. My daughter attended the school from nursery through class III, and if I ever have the chance to send her there again (I have to leave Delhi due to work commitments), I would like to.

The principal needs to learn basic mannerisms, empathy, respect and listening skills.
After giving time to meet she kept me waited for one and half hour and yet she could not give me few minutes to speak my mind. She was so impulsive, not open for ideas and extremely rude. She doesn't know how to talk to others.
Before counselling and mentoring students, educators need to learn these skills. They are role models for students. It flows from top to bottom.
I feel sad to see the environment there. I feel pity for the staff in the school who have to tolerate such arrogant senior.
May God bless our young generation and keep them unaffected from such bad people.

I went there for seeking admission of my child. The staff was very cooperative and gave me all the information regarding documents. They are polite and helpful. Very impressed.looking forward for the admission.thanks

The Credits of the comments go to Geeta Bhambani, This school doesn't even deserve one star rating, the staff is rude and it does not have anything to do with the word INTERNATIONAL in their school name. PATHETIC! THINK TWICE before you plan your child's pre nursery admission in this school. On their admission form they will ask you How can you provide school some services that are "Non Financial"? Imagine the trade that you will be doing with them for your child's education.

My daughter is studying here. I find the school to be at par with the academic curriculum and extra curricular activities too. The administrative staff and the teachers are so nice and at the same time disciplined too. I would like to share this incident when for some personal work I told my daughter that we can take a leave and her reply was “ Dad can’t we do this on Saturday because I don’t wanna miss school as I love going to the school” so if a child says something like this, it tells the parents that they took a right decision in selecting this school…

Good school but more Strictness & discipline required. Cameras required to keep a check on d student activities.

My daughter has got admission this year on her ability and I am very impressed with the behavior of teachers and all the staff they are so supportive and always welcome us and take our suggestions positively, the teachers never make us felt that we are new to the school. And the principal is such a warm person, unbiased, supportive, works with rules and regulations, she truly deserve the position hats off to her.

Ms Madhulika Sen is strict it is true. But all her students love her and because of the discipline she teaches they have all become very successful both here and in the usa. Is that not more important than coddling the ego?

A disciplined n academically sound school. Keeps a well balance between curricular n extra curricular activities. One of the best avliable in Delhi a complete package. Both my children have studied here n i feel teachers really challenge the students to think out of the box. Prepares them for life.

I had called the school to ask information regarding admission procedure. How rude was the lady. Wonder where has politeness gone.
What kind of staff does the school have.

Horrible school. Worst counselor. They call themselves inclusive but they are not. Big bunch of liars. They do not give admission form without seeing the medical documents. Idiots running the school

Both my kids study in TIS and we have had a wonderful, positive experience there since day one. Really grateful for all the lovely teachers and the great positive ambience of the school. People are complaining so much about the school but I beg to differ. I had gone to a lot of other schools for my elder child’s admission. This was the only school that treated is with respect and warmth. Keep it up TIS

A school that is in a time warp. Non progressive and archaic ways of functioning and dealing with students and parents. Will definitely be quits after this season for my child. A simple procedure like paying fees is an ordeal while the country has moved to digital India.

Good and dedicated teachers but ill-mannered Principal. My sons were in TIS, VV until recently now we shifted to another School because of the proximity. Like I said the teachers of TIS VV are good and dedicated and a lot of teaching and learning goes in the school, seriously.

But the Principal Ms. Madhulika Sen, wouldn't bat an eyelid to hurt and insult and belittle parents in a loud and arrogant tone. She sometimes hurts children by dragging the ears for being late in assembly etc.she is just too strict. My child would refuse to go to school if he didn't find his neck tie in the morning! She invokes horror.

Even in my generation (I am 41), headmasters treated our parents with respect. The principal should understand that she cannot get away with this behaviour any more and change.

The principle madhulika sen has no manners no ettiquetes to talk to just 5 year old child and his parents and ambika counsellor of junior wing is also same as she is. When new admissions were there they called Mr Ravinderen a very renowned child psychologist for how to parenting ur child but this principle and ambika counsellor needed psychologist for them how to behave with parents and children
There headmistress shivani Khanna also behave like them. She always call me every week to come to school for 5 year old child and telling me to restigate my child from the school and give me suggestions to enroll other school. I get fed up from this school and take Terminate Certificate from this school. No use of this school. When they call u these people submit to cell phones to there reception desk then only they talk to you in Principle room with all principle head misstereres counsellor and with class teacher all 5 to 6 staff abuse u taunt u and say leave the school otherwise class teacher will not take the class of ur child he will be in another corner they say u in front of u so what's the choice for parents left for them to restrict the child in this school so I beg and I request all parents never take admission in this school and ask everyone how to shut this management how to stop them for humilating parents they left no choice for parents

Its a shame even to give 1 star to this School.courtesy. Ms Madhu Sen. Absolutely arrogant, Ignorant, ill mannered, selfish and the most rudest woman on the planet. I fail to understand that, why the Management has still kept her despite of so many negative reviews and complaints about her. I passed out from this school about 20 yrs ago and she was still the same as she is now.leave alone students, she doesn't even speak in a humanly manner to the parents and the school faculty. I use to study in Apeejay School and was stupid enough to follow a friend to complete my 11th and 12th from this school. Believe me, it was the most stupidest decision i ever took. Thank God, I only stayed for 02 years. I would strictly advise all the parents to refrain getting their kids admitted in this school.

I am an alumni of TISVV. All the stars are for my teachers alone. Much has been said about the principal, and sad to say but most of it is true. In one review a student has justified her behaviour which is not correct. Being strict as a teacher & being rude as a principal is two very different things. I have had certain strict teachers whom I respect till date. But the principal has no moral right to preach good values when she can't even talk in a polite manner.
So if you can handle her, I would personally recommend this school.

Okay so I have read many people's reviews just a moments ago and i was astounded to read them. Firstly I would like to state that I am a student studying in tagore international school. Most of the people has given 1 or 2 stars to our school just because of the behaviour of our ex principal Madhulika sen. I dont know why people can't understand the main reason behind her behavior. People judge on the basis of their first, 15 min meeting with her. But you all will understand only by the statement of students, like us.like me! I know our principal is rude or maybe abusive as you all stated but she is very much correct doing this. At every point of time she is teaching us something. She is being rude and making us steadfast by doing so. You all think that you should be loved or whatever you all call it but one thing needs to be remembered that till the time you are comfortable, you are not at the correct place. She is telling us to come out of our comfort zone and make yourselves stronger in order to face any kind of problem we are going through or might face in future because everybody get through problems at some point or the other in their lives. So the main reason of this thing is.that first, you all can't judge somebody in a meeting, second.there always must be a reason behind somebody's rudeness. And yes in a review, I read this statement "people are much more educated than her (madhulika sen) ". Okay so I would like to add to it. Okay whoever wrote this, am not highlighting anybody's name. You can be much more educated than her but the experience she has can't be compared to anybody's level of intelligence, so do not write anything without even knowing the person. Apart the principal thing. I would like to share this thing that the teachers are very helpful and counsel us at each and every point of time. I have never been to the counsellor, so I dont know.but our teachers are no less than a counsellor. If a child dont feel like to go to a counsellor or maybe fear to go to.the he or she may gey counselled by his or her subject teacher. Precisely, teachers in our school do their job nicely. Initially I thought that the child who has the sympathy of the teacher is treated differently but it turned out to be absolutely wrong. Everyone is treated equally here and I witnwess the equality. The sweepers of our school are even respected equal as any other person. We are provided every basic nessecity. Like in any other school, there will be many other advanced things provided to the children but to be honesf, in our school we are given what should be given at this stage and every small thing is being cared of. Teachers love us like their own children. But we are being scolded to only when there is a need. Everything here is fair and equally balanced. I hope now the ones who reviewed and criticized our principal should hv ubderstood the main reason behind everything. I would like to conclude by saying that if you are looking for a school for your kid in terms of conpetition and everything then you can't go wrong with Tagore International School.

I recommend parents not to send your child to this School especially Vasant Vihar. I had a terrible experience here. They literally torture your small child in the name of discipline especially the Senior Advisor Mrs Madhulika Sen is very very abusive and very ill mannered. Our kids deserves love respect and motivation rather then abuses and derogatory remarks to them and their parents. I don't know whether Directorate of Education (Govt of NCT Delhi) is taking note of this school or not. There are several reports and cases like this. Mrs Madhulika Sen abuses in such a way as if we have committed sin in applying for admission as a middle class with out any influence and recommendation. I feel all Christian unaided minority schools as well as Christian Missionaries Schools are the best and Genuine schools. They never get influenced by the outside pressure. They are doing so much good work for the benefit of society. Also there are private schools such as Spring Dales and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya etc which are also doing very well. Above are my impartial my personal views based on my experience.

I have worst experience with Principal n other staff member. Madhulika Sen (Principal) is so rude n impolite. I have never experienced such a rude principal n staff.

Had a pathetic experience over the phone with the staff of Tagore International Vasant Vihar. All I was asking for was the information regarding the LKG admission. She was very rude and impolite. If they do not want to attend the parents over the phone, why did they pick up the call.
