Tamra is good for buffet esp if you are a non vegetarian. For vegetarians, the buffet is less of a good deal though it's reasonable if you compare it to the Ala carte prices. Also you should be comfortable with Japanese, oriental and continental cuisines. Our group had a lady who only wanted to eat North Indian vegetarian and so we ordered Ala carte. It was strictly ok. Nothing much to write home about.
Indulging in an evening at a fine restaurant is akin to embarking on a delightful journey where culinary artistry meets impeccable service. As the sun sets and the ambient lighting casts a warm glow, the stage is set for an enchanting dining experience.
From the moment you step through the doors, the restaurant's elegant ambiance envelops you, creating an atmosphere of refined comfort. The attentive staff, with their genuine smiles and attentive demeanor, make you feel like an honored guest, ready to be transported into a world of flavors.
The menu reads like a symphony of tastes, each dish meticulously crafted to tantalize the senses. From the first bite to the last, every element on the plate reflects a harmony of textures, colors, and flavors. The chef's mastery is evident, as they transform simple ingredients into culinary works of art that both surprise and comfort the palate.
Savoring each course becomes an experience in itself, a moment to appreciate the fusion of creativity and skill that goes into every dish. Whether it's the delicate dance of spices in an exotic appetizer or the rich symphony of flavors in a main course, every bite feels like a celebration of the culinary craft.
And let's not forget the wine, carefully curated to complement the flavors on your plate. The sommelier's expertise shines as they guide you through the wine list, helping you discover the perfect pairing to elevate your dining experience to even greater heights.
As the evening unfolds, conversations flow, laughter fills the air, and time seems to suspend, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the pleasure of the moment. With each course, the restaurant becomes not just a place to eat, but a canvas where memories are painted in vibrant hues.
An evening spent dining in such a restaurant is not merely a meal—it's an experience that lingers in your heart and mind, a memory to be cherished and recounted. It's a reminder that, in this fast-paced world, there are still sanctuaries where time slows down, and the art of dining is celebrated with every exquisite detail.
Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant in New Delhi. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing. Absolutely the best meal we had while in New Delhi yet. Highly Recommended!
Excellent hospitality at Tamra today. Service by Rahul K and Yashoda very warm and caring. Buffet menu very inclusive of all tastes. The taste of Kadhai paneer and hing aloo still lingers! Many thanks for the complimentary birthday cake Rahul! Lovely experience!
Quality of food was very good, staff were cordial, layout was good but some important items were missing on the day of our visit such as Dal Makhani. There can be more variations in the starter section.
I came on 22 sep with my friends one of my friend told me visit the Tamara restaurant you would never disappoint and it's true I enjoyed the amazing buffet love the kulfi faluda very much Rahul briefed us about the buffet and very helpful throughout the dinner.
Breakfast was good, the ambiance was also Very good, the Staff was very nice in serving us. If any one is around, should visit this place for breakfast!
The best buffet on Delhi with excellent hospitality.its a must visit place. I would like to thank the staff Ms. Mary and Mr. Ravish for making the experience more enriching.
Ther service and cleanliness of the restaurant is amazing. The staff tey their best to ensure that the Covid protocols are strictly followed.
There is a variety of cusines on offer. On the day we had Japanese, Mexican, North-Indian and Oriental. Both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian options are available as a part of the lunch buffet.
I enjoyed the salads and the quesidilas. The Indian appetizers comprised of tandoori fruits and paneer tikkas which were enjoyable.
The main course primarily comprises of Oriental and North Indian food. I had kadhai Paneer and dal Makhani with corn pulav and Missi Roti.
The deserts had a pot of variety as well. I enjoyed the cholate puffs and the chocolate brownie the best. There were other sweets as well like Milk cake (Kalakand), laddoo, moong dal halwa etc. There were 6-8 varieties of ice creams with different types of toppings as well.
The buffet dinner was ok in terms of options. The veg options were not enough. The food taste was also ok. Dal Makhani was very tasty. Chaat corner preparation was also very good. Thai curry taste was good but very spicy. Rest of the spread was not very good. The staff was very good, cooperative, helper & very responsive. Rating for staff is 5/5 but because of food the overall rating is poor
Very bad experience food wise. Last time we had gone was fabulous but this time when we went on 6th October it was the worst experience. There was just 1 server for around 15 tables. How do expect that to be good
Amazing ambience. Food was delicious, I visited with my family over there for dinner and we enjoyed the taste. Chaat counter was so impressive. Mr. Rahul Chaudhary told us about the dishes on the buffet and the selections. His service was amazing and we Fully enjoyed it.
Our experience with the restaurant was great. Good vegetarian selection. Special thanks to Bhupesh for a wonderful service. Overall it was upto the mark.
Nice ambience.location is supurb being in central part of Delhi.food is excellent and you will always need to indulge.variety for vegans needs improvement
Dinner buffet was wide spread with different cusines, Japanese, continental, indian, Asian (chinese, Thai). Quite appealing to look at but the taste is very very average. Guess they need to work and improve the quality and not just the variety.
Visited this restaurant with my famiy for dinner. Ambience is great, staff was very attentive. Our server Ajay was very polite he had given us some good suggestions for food and also adjusted the spiciness of the food according to our taste. Food was good just took little more time to come to the table. Also himanshu was also nice and polite.
One with a diverse menu. Multiple cuisines. With state of the art food. Had an amazing satisfying experience. The staff was courteous with ever smiling faces. You can swipe though some of the pictures uploaded by me.
I've been to many places in Delhi, and then I've been to a lot of places internationally. This is the place that brings the international into Delhi. It is simply world class. We were here for a buffet, and now I think I'll be coming back again and again for the excellent experience it was being here.
Lots of choice here. Buffet style with barbecue, lots of Indian dishes including clay oven. Japanese, European, and Asian. £27 per person but Taxes on top ramp it up, but good value. Drinks are a little expensive here to. There is also an a la carte menu available. Food very well prepared.compliments to the chef.
If there is a heaven for foodies, it is here. The buffet at the restaurant especially the Sunday brunch is infinitely amazing.
The endless counters of different cuisines will leave you dumbfounded. They have grill sections, tawa fry sections, roast sections, bake sections and more. Their bake section has different types of breads, cookies, donuts, cakes and pastries. They have an Indian section which has the dosas, pani pooris, fried rice and more. Their chinese counter has a lot of boiled sea food and veggies. They have a drinks counter with a 100 combination of drinks. The fruits sections encompasses all fruits, even the rare dragonfruit, strawberries and more. They have a few cheese varieties on display. They even have north indian desserts often such as dhokla and phaphda.
The juice counter has canisters full of different flavours of juice, namely lime, ginger lime, tender coconut, mango, orange, water melon and maybe musambi. Refill as much as you want. The milk section has skimmed milk, toned milk, yoghurt and an assortment of corn flakes and other flakes. Even salmon and salami are up for grabs.
The dessert section is just enchanting. You may get live prepared pancakes. Choco lava cake and live candy is mostly available. Marshmallows, cheesecakes, ice creams, and seasonal desserts are available.be prepared to eat till you die because the price does burn a hole in your pocket, but if you've got the appetite for it, then it is totally worth it.
Sweetest staff with the most mouth watering variety in buffet and very courteous and Sri Lankan food fest is on so the taste and aroma was heavanly even the staff's attire.even the view over looking the gardens where a birthday party was being celebrated was a delight:)
Disappointing à la carte breakfast, the pancakes were dense and unflavorful. The whole was pretty expensive for such an average quality. Cookies and service were good.
