Great service and tasty food. We had Dal Makhani, Kadai Chaap (don’t remember the name exactly) and some stuffed mushrooms dish. Dal was amazing. This place has a very pleasant vibe to it considering its location. A very unique ambience which you’ll probably only find in places like Indian Coffee House.
Embassy name itself give us feeling of Indian Embassy n same is here. Good vegetarian food n have different flavours with attractive looks. Samosa having a bigger filling n looks like a giant.
It still is as authentic as it was many years back. The place is nostalgia of the old era, specialized food restaurants. Come here if you really wish to relish the true Indian delicacies cooked to the best standards and taste. Pindi Chana is still the best in Delhi, Butter Chicken has the authentic flavor, and Tutti Frutti is reminiscent of the childhood days. You would love to keep coming back. Thanks Embassy for maintaining the rustic charm! Keep it up
I got a chance to visit The Embassy Restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. The non-veg dishes I ordered were exceptionally delicious, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the quality of the ingredients truly stood out.
In addition to the delectable food, I also had the pleasure of trying their mocktail, which was wonderfully refreshing. It complemented the meal perfectly and added to the overall dining experience.
This is among the old legendary places with history and stories and memories but the experience at their fast food shop outside was not very good. Expensive and taste wise or portion wise not worth probably. Staff is hardly interested in “spirit of service”.
Samosa is perhaps the biggest I ever had but then it becomes clumsy and difficult to eat. It almost becomes like a paratha wrapped with fillings and is messier to eat. Price high almost 100₹.
Sandwiches grilled - good but size smaller and price high.
With reasonable prices, warmth and reasonably sized portions perhaps this can go way better.
Felt like I stepped into the 1960s for a minute. Had so much fun. Also the chairs were so comfy and spaced perfectly for movement even though the place was closely packed.
I have been visited this place as a child, and i returned today after years abroad and the place retains the old school charm.nice and cozy interiors with the regular govt staff eating in! It brought back a lot of memories!
Food is exceptional, staff is friendly and accommodating and the nostalgia is priceless!
Service is good Main course is very very bad (returned 3 items out of 6) Starters are okayish No cocktail’s and mocktails available because bar man was not there only basic drinks are available Overall Bad Experience (not going back)
We had booked a table for 10 pax. When we started ordering from the menu, many items listed were not available. The staff was going back and forth to find what is available. We then decided to walk out and find another restaurant.
Such a old and reputed name in restaurant Service is really bad. A big ZERO to service. Food is decently good. I think the restaurant has its old staff on the floor and requires to give them a training on hospitality to improve services.
Or management view sab chalta hai. Paisa to kamaa hi rahe hai na.
Order time: One Taste: Two Ordered Their special Sizzler/ Taste below average Ambience: 3.5 Over Hyped The waiter generated the bill and removed service charge, instead asked for extra cash for the same.
