Simply outstanding It's here to rule forever Be it rooms (simply the best) beats iconic Taj & oberoi Be it elan the restaurant (amongst the best in Delhi NCR) BE IT VIEWS BUILD QUALITY, GOOD, TASTE, PORTION SIZE, VARIETY, SERVICE, TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING BEEN HERE REPEATEDLY, I ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD TIME
I have been their regular customer and their services, food, Ambience everything is class apart. A must visit hotel. Do enjoy their plunge pool room for best experience and do go for breakfast included menu to enjoy their wide variety of food.
Horrible Horrible service! My vacation has been spoiled completely! I was happy to book a plunge pool room and looking forward to a good time. But it all got spoilt because of the horrible attitude of the staff. They are hurling abuses in the open. They allowed two guests in our room. We are checking out, not even staying for a night! Very very disappointed.
A stay at The Lodhi is nothing short of an experience. Firstly, I can't say enough good things about the rooms themselves. They really are nearly flawless. My strongest recommendation would be to go for rooms with the plunge-pool. The sheer fact that they exist sets The Lodhi apart in the first place. I can comfortably say I haven't stayed in a bigger room in a Metropolitan city. Most city rooms have size constraints– clearly not something The Lodhi has an issue with. Every aspect of the room was well thought out. The bed is supremely comfortable and the decision to have a 'Do not disturb' button next to the bed is inspired. Panels instead of curtains are a great idea as well. I love the pop of colour the rugs add to the room and the addition of air purifiers is very thoughtful considering Delhi's pollution problem. The room is spotlessly clean as well and Sanjay, who handled the housekeeping for us during our stay did such a thorough and impressive job. The one criticism I have is that sound seems to carry through the hotel and it could get quite noisy at times. It wasn't a massive issue but we did feel a distinct lack of privacy at times.
The location is a big plus as well since you're as central as you can get. We could see so much greenery from the Balcony as well as a view of Humayun's tomb. The Lodhi also helps by arranging transportation. All it took was a call to the concierge and we had cars booked. We had Rohtash and Jagdeep as chauffeurs during our stay and they were both immensely helpful, cheery, knowledgeable, as well as being exceptionally smooth chauffeurs.
The food at The Lodhi is legendary. I've written a separate review for Indian Accent from my previous visit to the place and it keeps its place as one of the two best restaurants in India in my book. I do want to draw attention to Perbacco which provided us with delicious Italian cuisine and it's surely one of the best Italian meals I've had in the country. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Adriano Baldassarre, who's so clearly passionate about Italian cuisine and it shines through in the food. Finally, the breakfast at Elan was always a good start to the day. Special shoutout to Sahil for great, unique recommendations and keeping an eye out for our preferences.
Our stay at the Lodhi was a great experience from booking to checkout. It'll certainly be our top recommendation for travellers visiting Delhi and we can't wait to be back at The Lodhi ourselves.
The ambiance is okay-ish. A bit poor, actually, because with people chatting, the place can get properly loud (echoes). So, not an ideal place for a peaceful meal.
The starters were average. Ordered two of them, both platters (veg and non-veg). Veg were fine but non-veg were extremely salt heavy.
The main course was good. Ordered a variety of things, including a pepperoni pizza, daal makhni and a chef-special mutton.
Desserts were too good. Ate a portion of badam halwa, ice cream and rass malaai.
Beyond excellence.beautiful property well maintained. Amazing chefs made delicious food not on the menu. Bartender was superb in his service, serving us elaborate drinks and dinner every night. Extremeky clean room by Devendran, Roshni and Lalita. We will surely be staying here for a long time.
The staff was too nice especially Jagdish who was the housekeeping head. He made sure to keep everything neat and clean. On our special occasion, we requested them cake and room decor, they didn’t deny it.
The place is in shambles! From Hair hanging in the balcony, to fungus at the rear of the washroom seat this place isn't worth the price quotes on various websites. Chipping off paint and broken chairs in the balcony! This place needs a major overhaul and better management. The check in painfully slow, understand the rush hour at 2 pm but shouldn't better provisions be made for the same? The in room dining food from elan is greasy and overtly spicy (ordered indian main course) the only saving grace was the breakfast at elan and the servers/ waiting staff specially one Mr. Naval.
The Lodhi is the only hotel in Delhi with a personal plunge pool. Which is why we choose it for a birthday staycation. Check in was a breeze with Roshmi (front desk). She also helped with setting us up with a cake & got house keeping to get candles setup around the pool. Not to forget a proper introduction to our room & the facilities. The hotel pool was also a treat, with Amit helping us out with everything (glad he was there). The rooms are huge (personal balcony, pool, bathtub, rain shower and a seperate dressing space), that is a lot of real estate!
Dinner was at Indian accent (independent entity altogether, not part of the hotel, pre-booked reservation for dinner is required). It was an experience in itself. Experience being the key word.
Though we did get freaked out by a lizard late at night (which left a scar on whole experience). In the morning, we also found out that breakfast was ala carte (covid, As I was looking forward to a nicely laid spread).
All in all, we would definitely recommend The Lodhi for its USP's. Just get house keeping to do a quick pest control!
Our sir had booked a room and he was given the worst room by the staff Inspite of paying for the best suite. We recommended that the hotel is not ethical and looting the clients. See for other options.
Indian Accent is indeed one of the best in Delhi and in the country! But go there only if you have a minimum 2 hours or more to spend over a lunch or dinner.
I stayed at The Lodhi for three days mainly because they offered a plunge pool in their room. While the plunge pool was the highlight, I was highly impressed with other aspects of the property and staff. The Lodhi had one of the best gyms I have seen in any hotel with well-trained trainers who were available at any given moment. In addition, the food at the hotel was delicious (Breakfast, Room dining & Perbacco). In addition, Kanchan from front desk took special care with keeping a check on any thing I might need during the stay. Would 100% recommend to try it out!
Great Experience, it is a very big property in Delhi NCR, liked the Plunge Pool room, quite spacious unlike most rooms in the top five star hotels of Delhi.
I have been coming to this property since 10 years and this has been my worst experience till now. The hotel and room are not the way it used to be back in the old days. Housekeeping is poor and most expensive rooms require a lot of maintenance. Images are deceptive and lack of maintenance can be felt. I booked the verandah suite for a better experience but it turned out to be a nightmare. Basic room amenities are not provided and I had to request for the same.
There is termite seeping around the rooms, mosquitoes were everywhere, shower panel was broken. Bed linen was dirty. It’s not worth the money
Everyone knows that The Lodhi is one of the most luxurious hotels in delhi. But the best thing I felt about it was their bakery. They have mouth melting cookies and I ensure to buy a few everytime I get a chance to visit the place
I reached on hotel at 2: 30PM because it mentioned check in time is after 2pm. But when i reach there, they said wait 20mins for room cleaning. And i waited 20mins and 40mins more. Totally i was waiting 1hr and i could enter the room. If they call at 2 or before 2pm, i could go other place to take lunch or do other works. But i wasted time to check in because hotel didnt notice it earlier.
They don’t know how to handle the customer, so rude while taking over the phone. They are not only one in delhi many others are waiting for us. No one available in the morning for booking and not flexible as per our requirements
It is one of my favourite restaurants in Delhi, I visited their 24x7 restaurant by the name Elan. The food menu is full digital which can be accessed by a QR code and they have a very attractive menu which does make you want to order everything on it. The food is fresh and very well cooked with appropriate amount of spices and condiments. The best part is the food temperature at which it is served is just very appropriate.
This is 5 star hotel with restaurant in it. This is the one of the best hotel in Delhi. Loved the ambience and staff behaviour. Everyone was greeting with folded hand.
We walked in to the Coffee shop & were asked if we had a reservation. It was unbearable to sit as too many mosquitoes. The white tablecloth looked as if from a tent House. Pathetic condition of walls.
Excellent service and an excellent hotel it is it is not a 5 star but a 7 star hotel according to our experience. Each room has thier own private pool with the depth of 4 ft and is quite spacious.
*Review for Elan resturant* Great ambience Great customer service Great food Great seating (Comfort+space) Went their at the time of Corona, they have followed all the safety measures.
Most respectful staff, all sorts of customised service possible, they deserve the very best ratings. They have consistently strived to maintain their values which reflect in their service and support. SUPER
Absolutely beautiful place️ Great service, tasty food. But the thing i did not like is "some staff's attitude" and the way they spoke to us. 3-4 people on reception were very unprofessional and unethical which ruined my experience. I might not visit here again just because of the staff.
This is a 5 star hotel near Lodhi colony. Completely renovated. Has a good coffee shop with open air seats. But you need to pre book them. Good interiors. Not to go by it's looks from outside
This was my luxury vacation It was Deluxe room with plunge pool. The hotel staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Let me describe more in my following pictures.
Quite a shocking experience, the room carpets were very badly stained and was emanating a musty damp feeling, a basement like vibe. The lockdown & poor business seems to have taken damaging toll on this property.
The room is being projected as 750 sft but infact a very cramped room with extremely large bathroom. (signature terrace room) Room no 19B
Well appointed bathrooms with premium toiletries. Very expansive size of the property with beautiful modern lighting,
The bed and linen were clean.
The towels are extremely oversized, very inconvenient to use and very heavy to maneuver + these XL towels are such a burden on environment.
The Breakfast:
Not serving buffet (while all other hotels are back to Buffet breakfast). The food was flavorless and tasteless and the choice offered was too little.
Service is poor. I wanted to play pool all pool sticks damaged i told them.they didn't bother to get any other good ones.mineral water bottles had dust on them as if they come from streets. Over expensive. I can't believe it's a 5 stars hotel
Attended a reception function there.it was in the lawn.though lighting could have been better but every thing else was impeccable. Food was super delicious.grand spread for all cuisines.hotel stafg was super courteous.hospitality was spot on
I had attended a wedding reception at the outdoor lawns of the Lodhi Hotel. It was my first visit to this hotel. It is one of the most elegant and classy hotels in Delhi. The ambience was very impressive. The quality of the food was also top notch. I felt they could have placed a few more heating lamps since it was outdoors and people were feeling very cold.
Every thing was pathetic and tasteless even the silver utensil given for finger bowl was not cleaned And same was bend and cracked, one can see the photograph of the same
THE Lodhi, previously An Aman Group property, has a class leading ambience and feel which makes it a must visit amongst Delhi Hotels. There is a members lounge at Level -1. The hotel also houses Indian Acccent restaurant, which is rated very highly amongst the patrons for Indian fusion food.
One of the premium luxury hotel of Delhi. Great reception of guest. Commendable environment, respectful staff. Cleanness to perfect. Competent staff with well mannered. Food quality is awesome but too pricy. One of the luxury hotels across India. Private pools Available in premium rooms. Quick service. Good customer relationship.
A hotel of this stature should have absolutely impeccable service. I telephoned the hotel a day earlier for hotel car pick up from Delhi Airport I was assured that this was arranged. No car turned up and I had to make my own way to the hotel. There was acknowledgement of my phone call and appropriate profuse apologies from the head concierge. During my stay at around 4 pm I telephoned concierge service informing them I was going out for a few hours and requested my room be cleaned while I was out. The concierge said 'yes' to this but I was disappointed upon return to find that the room had not been cleaned. The room was magnificent and the facilities are very good. The food is well made and well presented The staff were always polite and helpful to the extreme. Edwin Peter Saldanha, the Head Concierge was well versed in his art and an absolute pleasure to interact with. One of the most able concierges I have come across. In summary a pleasant stay in a superior hotel.
‘The Accent ‘ at The Lodhi is a prefect place to sooth your senses through taste buds and visual senses. The food is laid luxuriously and is palatable, to add on is individual attention provided along with beautifully crafted earthen clay crockery.
Very poor service! I hate the attitude of the servers and the managers around. There is a thin line between being informal and impolite. I found their attitude very impolite. Hated it!
Proudly exhibiting the art and culture of India, The Lodhi offers you a stay reeking of opulence and comfort with 40 rooms that have their own private plunge pools {apart from the standard and garden terrace ones}. In addition to that, they have a spa and salon, a library with an adjacent cigar lounge, a pool and a state-of-the-art gym with ample space for pilates, doing yoga and playing squash. There are 3 dining options – including an all-day pool cafe. We love the amalgam of contemporary art {especially curated by the founder of Apparao Galleries of Chennai} with modern architecture – nothing is OTT here.
It is a great hotel we had a great stay it was fun being there we had a lot of good food the food quality is very good the staff is also very courteous it is a must visit place one must go to this place to visit it again and again great gym also great food also everything is great about this hotel one must visit rate in their lifetime once in a lifetime visit is must
