Sooo, this is Tilak Nagar metro station gate no. 3.

- It gets crowded a lot of times and there is little to none cleanliness, there a lot of food joints when you head out to jail road side and as you can see there is also a MC D just outside.

- There is no right time to travel on the blue line as people keep increasing every year and the metro can only occupy a certain number of people but still there is a better chance of getting a seat if your travel between 3: 00 to 4: 30.

- An okay thing done buy authorities was they added railings so now people only have 1 path to get to autos and e rickshaws n there is at least a little crowd control.

Everytime I Visit Here it is something new. Either streets are being developed or some new stalls or some of the shops being renovated.

Even Saat Manzilaa Mandir is Really Scenic and Whether your see or from near or far doesn't really matter. It is Grand, Stylish as Usual.

Wish A visit Whenever you find time. Preferable timeslot would be Evenings or if your can't make it on Eves then Morning to Noon is the second best slots.

All shops have some variety or other. Be It clothes, photo frames, Photographs, dying requirements, showpiece, even art pieces, then it has rave good options from South Indian to McDs and Pizza Huts, even Burger Kings.

You name it and you got it. Even if you need books then they are available at old market. Both new and old books is all classes, from primary, to secondary to senior secondary, even engineering and others including NIIT AND All.

Just search for it.

So good dining Mithaiyan and snacks, even Namkeen, freshly baked off all kinds.

Great hub. Tilak Nagar Had it All. It is in a Diameter of around 2 Sq Km and you have all new cycle along joints. Gear and without. Dresses

Even road side hawkers selling kids to teenagers to girls clothes at extremely competitive and wholesale prices.you can't say no to.

Nice place for road side shopping. Central market has all type of ladies gents wears. Go check it out.

Some what people will find variety of almost everything (at good rates when compared with Rajouri Garden/Lajpat Nagar etc) like electronic, electrical, clothing, dry fruits, fruits, shoes, Pooja samaghiri, bags, sweets, Ayurvedic medicines and many other utilities item.
Big market with lot of shop adjacent to Jail Road which is famous for Fatenagar Gurudwara and Furniture Market.

Almost you will get all fast food stalls here and also you will see a wonderful market for clothes and all.

Tilak nagar market, good place to shop for clothing, wedding apparels, street food, old and new academic books, stationary, jewellery, it is truly one of the best markets of West delhi. Parking is a problem (especially cars), direct connectivity by metro.

Kirti nagar metro station is quite big with two metro line first is green one and the next is blue basically its a inter changing for blue to green or green to blue whlie going from green to blue pleases take care of crowd there are lots of people come in at the same time and they push too hardly to get in i have been two time stucked in while coming out. And there is long path while going from green to blue line and its look horrible some time. Place around kirti nagar there are malls around there and lots of small food hawkers around there and tea stalls.you can find buses like 85Ext around the meteo station which follows the path from vasant vihar to west enclave. Overall quite good metro station with lots of inter links and easy accessible mode of machine and out vehicle and there are lots of rickshaws around the metro station wich you can use for travelling as well as to ask path. Best metro station with 3 great exits.

The hub for people living in hari nagar, Janakpuri, Sagarpur, etc.

An important centre in West Delhi, Tilak Nagar is the place to shop for literally anything under the sky in its crowded markets. And the Metro station is very near to this convenient destination for the shopaholics in West Delhi. Station is so huge and signages aren't that helpful. But people are helpful to guide you if are clear about what you want. Get out of the station at the Northern side and the bazaars are bang in front of you. But be careful not to bump into the frenetic traffic ranging from cars, SUVs, e-ricks, bikes, pedestrians and more. Mornings & weekdays are best for those allergic to crowds. And you can indulge your taste buds in those eateries & restaurants.

Big metro station and strategically located but lack basic amenities like lifts lift and escalators for sick and elderly.

It was Guru Purab day. I saw grand procession for the first time from the Metro Station and Prasad distribution by volunteers was nicely arranged inspite of huge crowds.

No wash room facility, Wonder why they have not added lift facility for older people to get easily out of the station as they did with janak Puri station

Parking space is not available at this metro station

But it is complex in structure
And it doesn't have enough escalator for passengers

A convenient metro station. All types of public conveyances available at the entry/exit gates. It is nearest metro station to delhi cantonment railway station on the blue line axis of metro. Tilak nagar electrical market is at 10minutes distance.

Well regarding the metro station nothing much to say. It's like any usual metro station. Not so crowded but still lively.

Once you come outside the station then I can assure you it's a foodie's paradise. Your nostrils will start sniffing the aroma of food that too authentic Punjabi food. You can see variety of eateries just outside the station door exit!
Non veg food is really good and at dirt cheap rates.not to be mistaken as being low quality (which one can assess seeing the number of people eating there at any point of time)

Tilak Nagar metro station is neat & clean and in good condition.tilak Nagar metro area is good for local market shopping specially for ladies.some branded showrooms are there near by jail road like adidas, redchief outlets etc.and famous Gurudwara at FATEH NAGAR.
