Uday Foundation

I have been using Uday Foundation for 2 years. I think they are doing a very good job. They send me photos of people they feed the day of the donation. Just to see the relief on their faces makes you feel that uday flu dation is doing a very good job and we should help them as much as we can.

I read about Uday Foundation in the Times of India and approached them. They had very promptly made use of my donation to feed the needy in honour of my sister who had succumbed to Covid. I was impressed and touched by their responsiveness and good work.

Uday Foundation, you are doing a wonderful noble job by feeding the poor of the city in whatever way possible for you. Keep up the good work. The Foundation will be highly recognized and more donations will pour in.

I donated to the Uday foundation for a food drive in memory of my father. The experience was smooth and easy with the ability to pay online. I emailed details to Ms Reena Sen and she was great to work with. She also sent us pictures of the food drive. I would highly recommend them.

Every time they are prompt in responding, donate food on your requested day, share photographs for your reference with date. I highly recommend using their forum for donations as their services are genuine and transparent.

I have known of Uday Foundation for the past 5-7 years and have followed their various initiatives to help in the community over the years. I have also felt confident of dealing with them because of their association with NDTV - a channel I have personally known of for last 30 years. At this time of Covid crisis, Uday foundation is doing exemplary work in a variety of areas to help the community in crisis in Delhi. Prefect place to donate your things which no longer in use. Clothes medicine toys books etc. Better than selling to scrap dealer shop for few penny. I felt nice and uplifting feeling while donating few stuff which u'll never feel otherwise. Must try once

Good way to help the needy by donating anything that lies extra in ur house! From books to clothes to toys everything is accepted by Uday Foundation for helping victims of natural disasters.

This is a charitable foundation which accepts all sorts of donations in kind from used clothes, beddings, books, stationery, toys etc. These are distributed to orphanages, old age homes, and disadvantaged children.

Donarion Centre, works at National level. Can drive a Car or bike here. Can donate clothing, blankets, stationary items etc here for any natural calamity across country. They collect and distribute such stuff to affected areas even after 3 years as rehabilitation takes a long time.

Rahul Verma is a social activist and founder of the Uday Foundation, a non profit organization named after his son, who was born with multiple congenital defects. The foundation supports homeless people with in kind help by providing clothes, blankets, dry ration and dignity kits.  It works for disaster relief focused on food, shelter, water, sanitation and emergency supplies to the victims.

The Foundation runs a free medical clinic where they treat underprivileged patients. It also provides medical help to critically ill children and runs storytelling sessions for children in hospital.
The Foundation has received a NGO Leadership & Excellence Awards 2015 by ABP New.
Anyone wants to join can visit there office and contribute by donating old clothes, books and support in their social activities, weekly food distribution at AIIMS.

Uday Foundation in Adhchini is a collection center. You can drop items here. Timmings are 9am to 6pm.

Calling the NGO is like I am asking for a donation. Loud laughter in back ground, no courtesy a casual response. Sorry it doesn’t sound like NGO.

To be honest staff doesn't cooperate.
I tried calling them for more then 10 times to donate my clothes and it seem like I'm asking for their clothes. They pick my phone and saying excuse me ek min and talked among themselves again with loud laughter. As i have lot of dress i ask for help to come and pick me but they their respond was look for another foundation which boil my heart.

To be honest this kind of NgO don't deserve respect despite of all good works and sacrificed. Staff has to be train how to deal and talk to donors.

Worst experience, and i hang the phone considering myself looking for donation.

Staff doesn't cooperate. When I was there to ask for volunteer they said me to call a person who might be heading the volunteers, I called 15-16 times but no one replied and when I told people in office they said that she is the only person who can tell you about the same.

It is pretty excruciating to see such organisation transpire themselves to be non profitable organisation. Recently I get in touch with one of the employees overt there to help me out for kerala flood relief fund collection that I was doing for my society and Delhi Ncr offices. They simply said no for that and instead one Ms Reena asked me to send them all the collections that I would initiate. People have lost their lives and such NGO's are just for their market name and attention feel pity for them. Stop making fool of people plese,

The accept donations of any kind of item. Like utensils, toys, old newspaper, old suitcase, cloths etc.

I appreciate their job for the sake of Social Welfare. I wish them every success in achieving their goal.
