So many memories of UPES are still alive. I pursued MBA in Oil and Gas Management and I’m truly thankful for everyday that I’ve spent here learning. UPES has provided me with so many opportunities to be better in my career. I got placed in one of the top companies and since then been doing really well. I wish there were other ways to give back to an institution who made me the professional I am today.
UPES is the most interesting place to kickstart your career. I’m currently studying B. Des in UPES and I’m having a gala time here. Faculty is really good and even the facilities are top-notch. I saw the seniors getting placed in really good companies. Also, UPES is in Dehradun, which is a really good place to study if you’re serious about your career.
I’ve completed by M Tech in Automation & Robotics Engineering from UPES and I’ve to say that it’s the most underrated university with a lot of potential. I’m thankful to the faculty for teaching me in the most interesting ways and I feel lucky to be a part of UPES family. After completing my M Tech, I got placed in a very good company and with an excellent package. Almost all students in M Tech batch were placed decently. Everything I learned at UPES, I use it at my job on a daily basis. The university has opened many avenues for me and I’m looking forward in my career. Overall, if you want an edge in your career, come to UPES.
My daughter went to UPES to pursue in Engineering. All in all I can say that UPES has really made a difference in her career. I want to thank the faculty and authorities who have done a great job in shaping my child’s career. She’s working in a really good brand and is earning way beyond that I imagined. 4 years at UPES and I’ve never seen her this happy with her choice.
I’m teaching at UPES since last 6 years and my overall experience has been great. It is a really good university that has a lot to offer to students. A lot of companies come here and students are really enthusiastic about studies. Being in Dehradun, the weather is nice and teaching here has become a passion.

Upes, the fortress of false promises is the best place to ruin two years of life if you think you'll live young forever. The college is brilliantly designed to attract young minds and kill their spirit forever and leave them jobless when they pass out. For rich/spoilt kids, this place is a dream come true. Also too good for people who would want to experiment all other phases of life. It is a great opportunity for fresher's or experienced personnel who leave prestigious companies for higher studies just to ruin their career and go jobless. Remember, a quarter of the money you pour in can be seen well in the college infrastructure as well as in Mr. Virendra Gupta's BMW. The apt slogan for M.tech courses as mentioned would be ' Go Jobless'

My experience with UPES has been a true learner's experience. I started my career as a normal engineer, delivering daily shift duties & just focussing on my work related to Plant maintainance but after my enrollment in the course my outlook towards Oil & Gas industry took a leap with me now I am also concerned towards what is happening around the world & how more energy secure nations are going forward & what scpoe the entire scenario holds for India.
It was my transition from an onlooker to being admist the situation.
Exam conduction & assessment techniques adopted by UPES is one of the best, since evaluators mark for content. Transition from Paper to Paperless mode of conducting exam was another good move of CCE UPES as it is beneficial for all working professionals. New innovative technologies for exam conduction deserve applause.

I am a MBA LSCM pass out 2015-17. College is totally a business oriented unit. Students are taken as customers. 20% good placements, credit goes to the students. Placements cell so called career services is horrible. 80% got placed in marketing and sales in companies that are like shops with no good working environment. Students leave their jobs within a span of 3 months or they are thrown out after they college has shown 90-100% placements. Also would like to mention about the enrolment which is UPESMET. Any body can make it. I too got into the trap due to the good marketing policies of this college. Better options are other colleges in tier1 or tier 2 cities. As UPES is located in a village. Companies dont prefer coming here. All good companies visited the campus for placements for only once.eg. Flipkart and many more who have blacklisted this college. The placement cell tries to convince the company to take 2 students for 3 - 3 lacs than one for 6 lacs (as per company review). Faculties are average with no or minimal industrial exposure who were unsuccessful and now came into teaching profession.
