I had a disappointing experience at this Restaurant recently. Despite the Dineout app showing a flat 25% off, the restaurant denied the discount at the time of bill payment, which felt like a total cheat. Moreover, the exorbitant price of 600 Rs.for a single beer added to the dissatisfaction. Beware of misleading promotions and consider the hefty prices before choosing this establishment.
Recommended by my driver from New delhi aloft marriot. Food was just too good and so was the service. We arrived here with a family of 5 adults and 2 unhappy little ones.unhappy cos they did not get what they wanted at the noon hour (samosas). But when we left we all left very contented and happy. Anyone visitin new delhi.a must place to try!
VIP RDX is just besides the famous "Rajinder da dhaba". Nearest Metro Station is Bhikaji Cama Place (Pink Line) which is 10 min walk away. But I got down from AIIMS Metro station (Yellow Line) due to some reason.
But when I reached, Rajinder da dhaba was closed for the unknown reason. I especially came to this area to explore Rajinder da dhaba. But, then I noticed VIP RDX and they had good dining area suitable for family, kids, couples, friends, etc.
I ordered Mutton Galauti Kabab & Shawarma Roll. Galauti Kabab was juicy, there was a hint of spices in it. I loved it. I ate kababs with roomali roti.the combo turned out to be pretty good. Shawarma was also good.
I had good experience with tasty food specially their very own famous butter chicken.but I would recommend you to order chicken burarah as well in their starters it's spicy, delicious and mouth watering too
Worst restaurant. Poor service and poor staff. Don't know hw to speak with the customer. Food served late any Totally cold. They charge 10% service charge but the service is zero. I need to ask for each nd everything. Didn't give bowls to clean the hand on time as well. When I complained the staff and said y u charge the service charge when u can't provide proper service she rudely replied koi baat ni, mujhe ni pta. Pathetic experience.
Writing this review for all the folks, who are getting scamed, this is not Rajendra da dhabha, they usually scam you from parking lot stating that this is Rajendra da dhabha.
Location, parking, ambience is cool but the food is disappointing. We ordered chicken chilly garlic noodles and chicken platter but the chicken was half cooked it really got our jaws. Though the cold coffee was good
Food was tasty and the drinks were way too expensive. Not all the liquor was available. We had no choice but to order what was available. 3 stars just for Mr Rajinder.
Recommended by my taxi driver, ventured in, hungry after a long day of sightseeing.
Friendly welcoming staff showed me to my table, and gave me a menu which was in English. Was a bit quiet for the time of the day, so plenty of room.
Ordered a Murg Malai Tikka Wala, 6 pieces of boneless chicken with cream and spices.and also ordered a Ghosht Bhuna, boneless lamb cooked in a curry (basically). With some Nan Bread. Also the usual beers to accustom hot food!
Food came quick enough, and boy was it good. I don't mind saying that the dishes were fantastic, very tasty and hit the spot perfectly. Mix of sauces and creams worked well with both dishes. The curry dish was very filling, and I wasn't able to completely finish it.although I did try! For the nan bread, i over ordered, not knowing that in India Nan bread sizes are massive, unlike the small pieces we get back in Ireland! The waiter did mention he was wondering why i ordered so much, ha!
The waiter that was serving our table was very friendly, middle ages gent, pity I didn't catch his name but very friendly, and helped me with my order.
Ordered some ice cream for dessert, as I know Indian ice cream can be pretty good, but alas this wasn't the case here.pretty bland and no flavour. But I will let that pass as the main dishes were excellent.
Overall, loved this restaurant, and if I am ever back in ND, I will definitely drop in. Strongly recommended.good friendly service and fantastic dishes.
Location is an issue. Parking space is very less. Ambience is alright. Seems more like a shady joint with lot of space and lighting. Food is excellent. Rating it 4 star for the food.
It’s a famous place, I’ve been going here for years. Of course the food is great, but I have to say that their quality has deteriorated over the years, stillGood but now I guess the wow factor is missing. I don’t live near the Safdarjung market but if I did I feel like they would be a guilty pleasure of mine. If you haven’t tried them before or heard about them, do order their Galauti kebabs.
Chutni is wasn't fresh. Speakers weren't not working. Few people were shouting a lot. At the entry you experience foul smell. Only for taste else we might not chose to go
The food was ordinary. They charged us 10% service charge on top of the GST. The person did not have any proper answer why this was, but was not prepared to take that off the bill.
The food was great. Grilled fish definitely had a bit of western flavour. Kali mirch chicken tikka was a very unique dish which we tried and it tasted good too. However, nothing was worth saying that it was too good, everything was just good. Ambience was nice.
VIP RDX Resto & Bar - Go With The Name. "VIP RDX Resto Bar Is A Legendary Eating Restaurant Lounge & Bar In Safdarjung Enclave. VIP RDX Stands For Legacy Of Culinary Taste Of Dhabha In Safdarjung Market Also Known As Rajinder Da Dhaba or Rajinder Xpress. This Is A Lounge & Dining Restaurant Venue Whuch Serves A Multi-Cuisine Menu With A Bar & Moctails. Definitely Recommended For A Luxurious Fine Dine Experience.
This place has provided consistent taste over the years. Galouti Kabab Roll is to be cherished here. Would recommend dining in rather than taking away as the food tastes good when served hot.
Bad food, they claim to be Rajinder ka dhaba but they are not, I checked with the guy taking the order if the restaurant is Rajinder ka dhaba he assured me it is. Which is not. And the food wasn't even edible.
Stale food lazy staff Not properly cooked Almost felt like puking Went for lunch there, had chicken butter masala and roti there Chicken was smelly and was like rubber (stale), and the serving guy was taking 10min to get 1 chappati, told the guy at billing how food was and he replied" people usually drink and eat here they dont care about food, they only care about drinking" So think 100 times before you go there
The entire market is very crowded. It's a place where you hangout with friends who love non vegetarian food or just take away. Definitely not a fine dine experience
We visited on Friday eve. What I really enjoyed was Galauti Kabab. It's a must try. Taste wise it's 5 rater place however ambience can be improved. We went here in Covid duration. Hence less crowd in family restaurant but surely there will be no place to sit or stand in normal days.
They are total fraud and loot you by the name rajender the bhada, toattaly fraud people. Don't got there Quality wise good. But liers, mc bc. Never go. Otherwise your choices.
The staff is very rude and unprofessional, some people are nice but specially a waiter named ranjan acts like as if u have visited some daru ka adda, and he is dada of that place.
Food is tasty but the staff is very unpolite, specially waiter named ranjan doesn't even understand basic way of hospitality, he is very rude and unprofessional and they act like they are too lazy to work and its a crime to have visited and disturb them from watching tv.
They fraudently pull customers from Rajendra Dhaba with their staff's help. It's a scam going there, and the rates are two to three times higher. Positive reviews are either fake or mistakenly given to wrong restaurant.
One my favourite spots in Delhi for Indian food. This place is all about the food. The tastes are authentic and the price is reasonable. Can order in, take out or get it delivered to your hotel. My favourite is the chicken bryani and the palak with mushrooms.
EXCELLENT food. The chicken momos are AMAZING.just the best.must have it.the mutton galouti is another delicacy. I would love to visit this place for these two dishes. 10/10
One of the worst restaurants I have visited at my time in Delhi. They have unfair food prices for the locals and tourists. The rates are too high and the food is not worth the money. I would never suggest it to anyone.
It is an average bar, with high price. But its location is prime as it is located in Safdarjug Enclave, which can be accessed by two metro stations, Aiims and Green Park. In addition, they provide different types of food including veg and non veg as well. People from nearby areas come here often to have food. It is a sister company of the Rajunder da dhaba restaurant company. Their ambiance is normal and not friendly to families, as most of the guests visit this place to consume alcohol only.
This place was the Nalli RDX.the asli RDX dhaaba was a little ahead to the left of this place. Food and service was so so. I would give a miss to this place any day.card machine not working, we need cash for drinks, that dish is not available. More excuses I am bored of typing.you got point basically my friends
Went with great expectation, poor service and overpriced food and limited choice of alcohol definitely spoils the mood for a visitor from other places. Guess the place could use a complete revamp
This is the worst restaurant. The reception guy is too rude however the staffs are cool. The food is not that tasty. The ambiance doesn't justify the amount they charge from. You can get a better restaurant at this price.
Taste wise it is very good. However it is difficult to find the sitting place. Normally people take away and eat outside the restaurant or on their cars of in cars.
They have multiple sitting locations just ask the manager to get the sitting or you will have to wait for some time.
Chicken korma must try Galoti kabab must eat. Yummy
A unit of the very famous rajinder da Dhaba and totally worth the hype. Tried their famous butter chicken and tangdi along with rumali roti and it was delicious. Also had dahi ke kebab which were just melting in the mouth. The only negative was they didn't have availability of most of the drinks, but the quality of food compensated for it completely. All in all, it's a place with good ambience and seating and they serve one of the best chicken in the city.
Great place for non vegetarian food. One of the famous place in town. There are more than 5 restaurants nearby with similar name and all are of same owner. Original is "rajinder da dabha" then it got rdx, rajinder xpress, lol and two more. We specifically like dahi kebab, butter chicken, tangadi more than ever. *Recommended When coming to drinks menu they don't have much of a choice. But with great food we can let that go. Cleanliness is good. Service is fast. Staff was nice.
