It's a interchanging station where we can change metro in red & pink line, the food court and it's quality is also good, wheelchair accessible station, all lifts and accelerators are in perfect condition running very well but I am so much disappointed with their stairs, height, width, stair length makes no sense for the humans, I have seen multiple peoples who fell from from stairs because there is very small space for the footsteps which causes multiple accidents and secondly their is no toilet complex inside metro station just because of this in case of emergency you have to leave metro station and go out of the metro station for that these two things are very essential for them to make this station a better place for general public
Neat and clean Metro station. Working lifts and escalators. Bit crowded during office hours. Interchange station for the Red line and Pink line. Red Line Shahid Sthal to Rithala Pink Line Shiv Vihar to Majlis Park. The Welcome Metro station is an interchange station between the Red Line and the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. It was one of the first stations during the Phase 1 and Phase 3 of the Delhi metro.
It's an interchange station for red line and pink line metro. It is among the old metro station is Delhi metro, because of this the architect of this metro station is different than other stations.
It has a quite huge metro station which is connected with red line and pink line. For Pink line you have to go upstairs and for Red line it is on the ground level. It's quite far distance for change from red to pink or pink to red. It also has two food stall, and whenever you go from their they will call you to come, which is really awkward sometimes because you have to choose between both of stall and it's very embarrassed to reject any of them. I goes sometimes on right stall and never gone to second stall, it feels so guilty. Welcome also has lots of crowd and sometimes it become so much crowded that you have to take other way. But overall it's good because I go through same station and it is well maintained and clean.
The Red Line (Line 1) is a metro rail line of the Delhi Metro, a rapid transit system in Delhi, India. It consists of the first stretch of the Delhi Metro that was constructed and commissioned in Delhi. It is an entirely elevated line and has 29 stations that runs from Rithala to Shaheed Sthal (Ghaziabad ISBT) with a total distance of 34.69 km. This is a prominent locality of West Delhi full of interesting places to eat shop and relax. It has excellent amenities such as metro and other modes of transport. I would recommend it to one and all. Rajouri Garden is a good locality. It has good connectivity to mandir, gurudwara nearby, reasonable markets and nearby hospitals.
Welcome serves as an interchangeable station for Red Line and Pink Line, a long passage connects both the platforms. Connecting North and North-East Delhi.
Metro Service is Boon for citizens of Delhi, here at Welcome Everything Is As usual you find on any Metro Station, and everything in Metro Worth noticing, the discipline, the Rules Getting Folllowed, the cleanliness, etc. Location Is good, and easily accessible, Crowdy during morning and work off time
Welcome Metro station is the first one when metro line started in Delhi, India in the year if 2002. Inagurated by Star Bihari Bajpai. It's on red line root. So, name Welcome is being given to this station.
My only point is that after 16 years of time the metro station is as it is. Well maintained. Great work Delhi Metro.
This metro station lies on the Pink Line as well as Red line of Delhi Metro Network. As it is an interchange station between the RED and the PINK line, the crowd is more on this station after the inaugration of Pink Line.
So I suggest the metro authorities to make some arrangements to manage the crowd. They can increase the frequency of metro traines. Specially on Red line platforms area is conjusted, so there is always the risk of felling down of passengers on Metro tracks.
It's a new line (Pink) of Delhi Metro. At this line i enjoy a new type metro. This metro is long then old metro train, more sitting space.everyone get details about their journey by led screen which are available at front of your seat. But at this route metro train can be late upto 5 minutes. But i feel so nice with this route.
