I was involved in Teaching an underprivileged student of 12th class to cope with board exams. I guided her through the pressure and helped her navigate the subjects to score better. I also helped her find her career path and achieve better results.

It was an enriching experience to learn about her struggles and to be able to be the guiding figure in her life for her to dream much bigger. I taught her all that I could with regard to not just education but life. Taking up this space to thank YFS for providing these opportunities to students to be able to see the larger perspective and be better people who work towards driving change and progress.

I was really happy with the whole experience. Recieved and encouraged about a lot of knowledge and duty towards the society.

The organisation makes a substantial difference to the society through many different events and on-going initiatives. It is a great place to volunteer and give back to the community! I have had a wonderful time interning with them!

Working for youth for seva is my first experience as a service learner. I am so glad that I choose to work in youth for seva. I was given opportunity to teach kids and participate in many events like kids carnival. Overall it was a great experience for me

I worked at Youth for Seva as a part of my service learning at college, but as time went by it was more than just that. It taught us how to work towards living a sustainable life and also gave us the opportunity to get involved in a part of their summer camp for children. Overall it was a great and insightful experience.

The place is a whole new experience in itself and I had a major learning experience here as a part of YFS. I got to learn a lot during these 30 hours of being engaged in the work.

I worked at YFS Bangalore for a month and my time working here was great. We were involved in a variety of activities like compiling computer syllabus, teaching, etc. It was a great learning opportunity and I would love to work with YFS again in the future.

I enjoyed using children literature with children and focused on language learning. I could see them using children literature for pretend reading and I loved how they engaged with the stories.

Working here as a social intern was a wonderful experience that opened my eyes to a totally different side of the world. I cherished the time I spent instructing the youngsters and leading a variety of engaging activities that gave them many fresh insights and constructive behaviours. Meeting many kind and sincere people who came to the NGO purely out of love and the incredibly straightforward desire to spend time with children helped me learn life lessons as well. I would adore carrying on like I am now for the rest of my days.

Had a great experience in this NGO, the people are really nice and helpful. I learned alot of new things too.

The whole experience was very nice. I enjoyed a lot and got to learn a lot of new things. I loved spending time with all the kids at the NGO, they were all very cheerful and full of life. Together we played a lot of games and did creative things. I would love to work again in this organisation. We also did some field work where we went to different places to do media work which was fun.

When I started this internship I was not sure that I would do better but later on I enjoyed it a lot and gain experience in social interaction to people out there. Also many challenges came during this internship. I am from Ramngar, Uttarakhand and and I got a task to teach the children of the village Amdanda in Ramnagar. I explored this village and its beauty is just awesome as it is located at the centre of the jungle from where the corbett area starts. I interacted with the villagers, knew about their life. Their is no internet connection, they have to go 1km for the internet, electricity is limited but the smile on their faces just let you ignored these problems. Coming on to the teaching part, the challenge was to teach the students English because they all were in hindi medium school but after some days I was capable of teaching them effectively and introduce them with the basics of English Grammar. Made some happy moments with the students, they all were so interested and enthusiastic that I was feeling good to teach. Though the internship has been done and now i 'll be back to college but these memories will always be there.

I got to improve my patience level and teaching skills.
I got to know the condition of children, and I will do best to improve their condition by visiting them, I wish they will study harder and go to school as some of them still don't go to school.
And teaching them have also improved them alot.they have been now studying more and enjoying alot.
Working with Youth for Seva have improved me alot and I wish to contribute more and want to volunteer for the betterment of society.

The experience was extremely cherishable. I got to establish a direct connect between nature and myself which I personally found to be very therapeutic. Youth For Seva is doing a great job, for sure.

Volunteering with this organisation helped me gain some on-ground experience of what it's like working with under-privileged kids and how eager they themselves are to learn when provided with the opportunity.

I would want to start by noting that this organisation truly lives up to its mission of creating and facilitating a movement of organised volunteering for societal well-being. Interning with this organisation really thought me some of the most important values which are integrity, respect and nation first always that will always play a major role in our life. The first day was extremely exciting and fun; as soon as I walked into the room, they greeted me and I inquired their names and built a relationship with them. There was also a didi who was really nice, kind, and helpful. The nature of the activities that I did with the children were as follows: I used to make them play passing the parcel, and whoever got the parcel had to do some activity like dance, music, poem, etc. The second activity was antakshri (related to music and songs.) Where I divided kids into two teams, and each team had to sing songs based on the letter that they received from the other team. My friendship with them became deeper day by day as we participated in various activities together. My duty was to engage the children in enjoyable activities while also teaching them new and interesting topics that they thoroughly loved.
I would definitely return to wander and intern here since I believe it is such a secure atmosphere and such a great one, and I also get to discover myself.

It was a great experience to teach the children, and I always feel like this is the opportunity I was looking for and when it came my way I was highly obliged. It taught me so many things as well as I was able to enhance my understanding of the society and myself.

Working for Youth For Seva organisation and learning more about the underprivileged communities in India specifically Delhi has been an enriching and eye opening experience. We went to centers like Wazirabad and Chattarpur, and there learnt about the challenges faced by kids there that in their hinder their studies. It felt amazing to be a part of this great initiative and work towards helping these kids get an access to education that they deserve. Their smiles and enthusiasm motivated us to keep visiting. We made media content to engage other volunteers and spread awareness about the organisation, in hopes to spread this initiative even further.

My name is Nargis I am part of youth for sewa from my first year I did many volunteerings and internships with youth for sewa and my first volunteering was Navoudit 2019 which was held in my college I enjoyed alot after some time we all faced pendamic and I got wonderful opportunity from youth for sewa and sewa bharti I did covid volunteering and this was my best experience where we helped the people's alot through our helpline number and we gave them all necessary things. I also learnt alot from internships volunteering and many activities which youth for sewa provide us. I always thankful to youth for sewa for providing me amazing opportunities.

Youth for Seva is involved in many activities to support children, and volunteering with this NGO can be a great experience in addition to being productive community service.

I interned with Youth for Seva for the duration of a month. It was a joyous learning experience interacting with the youth and volunteering throughout. The centres are well taken care off and the organisation is doing amazing work towards the society!

This place helps a lot of underprivileged children and helps them get educated in a very unique way, which helps them feel comfortable and welcoming. It is a wonderful NGO!

It was a great experience working with Youth for Seva. It was quite educational and enriching. I learned professional skills as well as values like empathy, kindness and many more. This organisation helped me in giving back to the society while earning credit and getting work experience. All in all it was a great opportunity for me.
