What’s with the attitude of the staff here? A very rude guy at the counter. Didn’t get his name. If you can’t treat people with dignity, maybe you shouldn’t be working in this field.
Beautiful property, good vibes and wonderful galleries. I went to this place for experience and totally loved it.
Food and bakery items were delicious. I tried Kombucha there for the first time and it was good. Lime water was served with salt and sugar syrup in the side so you can make it as per your taste and I liked this concept. Choclate chip pancake is a must try dish I would say, super soft and tasty.berry almond cake was also good, something different for me.
You can spend time there in galleries I would not disclose the concept here as one should experience it to understand as I loved it and maybe you will too.
The seating is limited so you might have to wait if you visit on weekend.
Furniture and walls that have seen better days, waiters who don’t wait on you, ordering by typing codes on WhatsApp, Lukewarm coffee, decent burger, mid sandwich and cake, being asked to pay before the meal even arrives. If this sounds like a good time, go for it.
Delightful experience with its cozy ambiance and a diverse menu featuring both local and international dishes. The coffee and pastries are particularly recommended, and the staff is known for their friendly service. Unique and good ordering system.
It's a great spot for a relaxing break or a quick bite while exploring Panjim.
Must try the Turkish Egg (with Shrimp), Goan sausages side and Vietnamese cold coffee.
Has lost all its glory and class. Now it is just any sandwich at just any place. The juices are still good. Don't know if the management has changed or the chef and you don't see Vandana friendly smile around
This Cafe is connected to an Art Gallery. Visit the Art Gallery and spend time in soaking in the memories of Goa, its culture and lifestyle. After the intellectual stimulation, snack on the spread of Cafe Bodega. The ambience is green, fertile and very likeable. I would urge the organisers to put up better signages along the road to the Art Gallery and Cafe.
Had a really wonderful experience in this soul soothing cafe. We ordered turkish poached eggs which was really a culinary delight. Their sourdough bread is great. A special mention of the smoked salmon bagel.must try
Super cafe to enjoy peaceful moments with friends and acquaintances. This café is inside a art gallery called Sunaparanta. Its well laid out tables to enjoy your light snacks and hot or cold drinks. Loved the was its designed in a art Gallery. Pricing is affordable service quick and staff polite.
Heritage cafe in Panjim with crafted small bites to revive your soul sipping your choice of beverage, admiring the atmosphere of the architecture of the culture where the cafe Dwell's
This place is the perfect one if you are looking to have a cup of coffee with the best ambience. The Crossiants here are just the best one I ever had. Everything is just so fresh and lively here. Just simply amazing.
The Cafe part seems to fit Perfectly and the Bodega is well established as an eatery, service is complimented with its cafeteria assortments of devilish flavour, does help to bring a celebrity or bump into one. A best kept secret so far ️
Really a nice and a cute place to chill with thoughtful menu. Staff themselves do not fail to suggest you guilt free food. They've all kind of health meals
This charming café on Panjim’s picturesque hill is also a sanctuary for it’s patrons. It’s where a sense of clam descends on me while I serenely sip on my iced Americano. Owner-chef Vandana Naique (Vandu to her friends) is a no nonsense girl and her food reflects her personality. Although the café is situated within an art gallery, no arty-farty cuisine on the menu. Just amazing, honest to goodness dishes like Turkish eggs, Pulled pork burger and Eggs Benedict with salmon. Those with a sweet tooth will love the salted caramel cake and the delectable carrot cake. Bodega is the kind of place that draws you time and again with its great calming vibe and spectacular food.
Very good food but English breakfast place with rather limited choices for food. Not very conveniently located but great location and a nice pleasant ambience.
It is perfect example of when you expect and look for better things but found yourself in heavily disappointed condition. The lady owner/manger of the place is too unprofessional in handling their guests. They do not care for orders and services. Overpriced, argumentative and egoistic management. It should be avoided and better to finnd some small cafe in nature rich place which respect their guests.
Nice little cafe in the middle of colonial panjim.its Nestled in an old goan villa which looks fab. Food wise they hVe limited options but its nice. Overall experience is quite good.
Good View Cafe with a Great Location with an Art Gallery in the heart of Panjim, Beautifull Place to Hangout With the Special One ️ The Food served is Tasty with a good service of the staff I would Recommend everyone Visiting Panjim to Visit the Cafe Bodega and Grab a Coffee & the Yumm Red Velvet Cup Cake
I was back for IFFI and there are new delicacies on offer. The biscuit on the coffee saucer has changed and is equally worth globetrotting for. November is "season" in Goa and its a good idea to set aside an entire morning on a weekday for CB. There are less people and you can contemplate over exquisite coffee and cake after having gorged on Turkish eggs or the burger. CB is like my childhood sweetheart I had to fly away from.
The mosquito net is gone. The plants are in the middle of the courtyard basking in the magical waiting for monsoon light. I was back yesterday afternoon after a long gap. Looking for something new. Turkish eggs with prawns I hadnt tried. Almost predictably its a triumph. Its an indulgent loving embrace for the taste buds. It is a bucket list dish. Juicy Lucy remains what it was. This restaurant is possibly the most consistent in the country. If you fly across the country for a decent burger you will be rewarded. Every time. Long live the queen. Of the egg. And the bread. And the coffee. If you order in advance and ask nicely you will receive edible seafood pasta without having to fly to Tuscany -
Almost each dish that Cafe Bodega serves, it serves the best in India. Juicy Lucy is the best burger in this country, I could write a page on how the beef is the most succulent you can find and how perfectly it is married to the cheese and the bacon and how the bread is the best baked in the country, but it is best a Juicy Lucy is eaten for one to understand why a burger should be eaten in the first place. Bodega is the only place in India - the only place bar none that knows how to brew and serve a perfect cup of coffee. The cafe Americano - you could be in one of the family cafes in Via Torino in Milan. The capuccino - ditto. It wipes the floor with Starbucks. It is worth flying down from Mumbai or Delhi for that matter just for the coffee. The biscotti on the side - with a sugar rim is high art. The texture, the taste the freshness - Goa has a baking tradition but this little piece could sit in Fauchon and preen. A year ago I had a craving for an Egg Benedict - the way the make it in this sinful gastro pub in Gloucester Road. I went to a hotel with an international brand and many stars and incredibly they had either made eggs from plastic or plastic from egg. Then I discovered Egg Benedict in CB and well, Sunday mornings are transformed. If you ask nicely they will give it to you on 7 grain bread. The eggs are done to perfection - creamy but not runny- with that suggestion of good vinegar and a fine thin slice of excellent ham and fresh bread exquisitely crisp. All together it is gourmet. There was a seafood pasta in the winter. I will not attempt a description. It rates a Michelin star. With a gorgeous old tree for a canopy ; a magical courtyard and soul gladdening ambient jazz music - this unpretentious cafe with a breakfast menu and an almost reluctant but delicious flirtation with the idea of lunch is a dining destination. It needs to be in your bucket list. P. S. - for footy junkies there is the 442 magazine to read -!
Artisan cafe with exhibitions of photographs. Food is really tasty and simple. The location is worth riding for. Situated upon the altino hills, the drive is worth the food. Courtyard style seating with cozy benches and a very relaxing atmosphere.
Sonapranta in itself is a fabulous place and the cafe within satisfies the need to sit in the lovely courtyard and have the extravagantly priced stuff from the cafe called Bodega (I don't know what it means though I asked the guy serving and he did tell me). The stars are actually for the ambiance and the treatment of the space. The reduced star was for the prices.
Worst place ever! Service was bad - the manager was horrible. This place is also not for digital nomads - if you ask for wifi password the manager asks you to order first. This is absolutely rude. I told him in will order in a while still he came to my table and asked me to order - this happened twice. It wasn’t even five mins since I had entered the cafe.
The art gallery was closed - no one knew why it was closed!
Over rated, over priced! Didn’t enjoy the vibe at all.
Worst service ever from the managers side, who would prefer give the best of the treatment towards tourists and not give a damn about all its fellow patrons equally as such.
Love, love, absolutely love this place! It's absolutely picturesque and ideal for breakfast, lunch or even to take your special someone on a date. The cafe is surrounded by art galleries and a perfect place for art lovers.
The coffee was good but the pastries were not worth it. The prices were quite high, especially for the quantity. Nice chilled out atmosphere, typical of a Goan café. Situated in a nice Goan house, the cafe surrounds a small leafy courtyard. Great place to sit for a long time and chat.
Absolutely relaxing place which offers continental breakfast in a very lovely setup. The cafe is maintained very very well. The ambience, the decor, the atmosphere is calm and serene. When I visited this place what I missed was music. I have no idea if they play it or don't but it would be great if they do. The service was not upto the mark. Food was great. At a certain price tag I expect god service along with good food. Otherwise awesome place for a lazy cosy morning.
The location is really beautiful. And it's a nice place to spend time with friends and have coffee and snacks. Along with food you can enjoy the art exhibition.
Such a quaint nice place to hamg out with friends over a cuppa coffee and some lip smacking delicacies. Must visit for their breakfast. Their red-velvet cup cakes are pretty famous (a little too sweet though). Must try their cold coffee and pasta too. Had a great time here!
Fantastic food. A different kind of ambience and to kill time, you have an art exhibition here. So all in all, a lovely place to be. And their breakfast is AWESOME.
Situated in the same house as that of sunaparanta the art gallery. Bodega is an experience. Simple design, great food, lovely seating arrangement and pleasant surroundings. Go here for a blissful evening or a good healthy snack during lunch. We had the chicken soup and the veg salad, which were perfect. Have heard great reviews about their red velvet cupcake
A hidden gem if you ask me, set on top of a mountain overlooking Panaji city in an old Portuguese styled house. However food was a hit and a miss, we ordered the Chicken Burger - which was nice and tasty, garlic wedges - these were way too oily, literally soaking in oil and underdone, ordered Goan sausages as I love them, sadly a total disappointment as they were boiled and all the spice perhaps drained out of it as not done properly, so sadly tasted like overboiled meat: (- the best however was the guey chocolate cake, it made up for everything that didn’t taste good. Yum!
Everyone's favorite. This cafe has the most charming ambience, limited menu with delicious options and probably the best desserts in town. Very picturesque for those who are looking for a quite cuppa or a nice meal.
It's a very romantic place for couples looking for good food along with some privacy. Tastefully designed, it gives a feeling of home away from home. The owner is very helpful in selection of food nd satisfying customer needs off the menu. On my list whenever in the city!
Very cozy place with an art gallery vibe. Chicken burger and pork sausages were yummy. But the best thing is, my daughter had a bad coughing bout while we were here, and one of their staff members (don’t remember the name now, he’s from Delhi though) took time to ask us if she was alright and made us a warm water honey concoction to soothe her throat. All this without us asking for anything. Thanks, and keep up the wonderful work.
This place is very serene and relaxing, secluded from the buzz of the city. The desserts and pastry items are simply among the best available, albeit a tad pricey. The milkshakes and some food items, however, leave a lot to be desired, and aren't worth the money. However, despite the premium, I'd recommend this place purely for the atmosphere and vibe it has—conducive for creative people to work from while grabbing a bite; for dates; or business meetings, perhaps.
