Let me start by saying the nurses are the very caring and offered good service. The major issue seems to be management.
When we arrived my wife had a high fever and was seen immediately so that was good, However, no one at ADMISSION or Registration advises anything about the terms or admission, costs of room, and any rates etc.
MAJOR ISSUE 1: When I asked they simply advise "billing department will tell later". They decided what room to provide without informing me of the costs and the charges for admission is ₹4000 and ₹ 1500 for registration. They provide forms and you do this manually yourself.
MAJOR ISSUE 2: BILLING DEPARTMENT is really poorly managed. There is no communication between admission and billing. They added 5 doctors visits of ₹5000 initial and ₹4000 x 4. The doctor only visited twice. Their reason- even if the doctor visits twice we just add 5 visits as management told us to do so. That is SCAMMING. Finally after telling them to check with with on duty doctors they reduced the visits to 2.
The total bill for 2 days was almost ₹1,27,000.

If you do go here, FIRST ASK THEM FOR RATES, ROOM RATES, DOCTOR VISIT CHARGES AND then make decisions so you are aware and not taken for a ride.

I would suggest to not visit this hospital at any cost. My wife just had a gas and acidity issues and because of her stomach pain we came to emergency at midnight and while my wife was in pain and just needed emergency care and few injection they suggested to get CT scan and ultra sound and 5 blood test and 2 urine test. All of which was unnecessary and any MBBS level doctor can identify about gas issue this MS doctor couldn't identify the issue for almost 6 hours and she was in extreme pain for this long time with any proper pain killer and after such a small issue they handed me 50k bill.

Today morning experience was very bad. Had gone with my 3 year kid. There was only one doctor that also had gone to MRI. My daughter was continuously coughing. Sister in charge at pediatric ward was very lazy and just passing information to other sister without understanding the importance of urgent attention to a kid. Just kept delaying without treatment. Reception also found sleeping behind the other counter.
Such a big name of hospital but no proper service.

Hospital has some good doctors but also has some of the worst staff that you could imagine. They do lot of unnecessary repeated paperwork for admission and discharge elongating the process in this digital world. In particular discharge process was painful and we were waiting anxiously without any update for 3 hours. It was really frustrating.

Cleanliness and hygiene wise I would give it a rating of 1 star. Lots of carelessness while handling blood work, preparing bed, patient hygiene was really ignored.

Very slow. The people sitting in OPD reception act like they own the hospital and know everything. The nurses are very slow and irresponsible. Dr also doesn't tell what exactly happened and explain in detail. Avoid this hospital. Healthway Panjim branch is much better. Old Goa is worst. Money making business. Even smallest things they ask us to get admitted. Staff in casualty is busy browsing social media and least bothered about the patient.

They have some really good doctors but the entire OPD experience needs to be re-designed, everything is slow and not patient friendly. If some one from the management is reading this, please start from parking.

Worst experience Ive ever had at a hospital! 3 hours total for basic check up, and to give me 2 medicines. I would give 0 starts if possible.

Go to GMC or Manipal but never set foot in this hospital!

One Muslim lady doctor who is very good and talks very well and she helps me and she is very beautiful.

The lady in lab uses abusive language and insults patients. I found her to be the most egoistic staff in the hospital. Because of which we didn’t even went up for treatment Inspite of having emergency.

Poor service provided I have taken appointment for USG today at 10 20 am I was taken for sonography at 11 45 am
Being I prostrate patients they still made me wait till there order finishes
Who came after me.
There is no use of taking appointment for USG

Just wait n run about. Case paper/registration and consulting charges are taken prior hand hence u are stuck up until OT is done. Reception and OT are not at all coordinated. 1 hr waiting after every hr n suddenly the consultant comes up; this proves the lack of importance given to patient's time. Some staff will say its walkin first come service n some will say it's prior appointment. Diagnostic tests r very expensive here than pvt clinics n there also receptionist /cashier is seen missing. Doctors are good at their work but management n staff coordination lacks. Cafeteria n sitting area is also good. Restrooms are clean.

No one is responsible here and communicate in correct manner
Only for ultra sound I have to wait for 1 hour as first half an hour was lunch time and second half an hour the DR Pushpak was busy without any patients.

We were a family of 18 from Bangalore on a trip and unfortunately got food poisoning and dehydration on the last day just hours before heading to the railway station. 5 were treated as out patients and 4 had to be admitted including my 11yr old son in pediatric ward and 2 senior citizens in general ward.staff are very good, doctors kept checking periodically, dietician and food service was good.clean and spacious.good parking but in old Goa.lack of coordination between hospital staff and insurance.we almost missed the train because of delayed billing and prints of insurance papers

Staff at billing counter is so slow & laid-back. Had to literally go and sit near the billing counter so that they complete billing.

Healthway hospital is one of the best multi speciality hospital in Goa, known for good doctor's and nurses

The hospital is functioning only to make money not to treat the patient. Worst Hospital in Goa. My mother in law was admitted at Healthway for kidney treatment. But in a weeks time her condition worsened and we had to get her out of there. The doctors are least bothered about the patient and don’t even visit the patient regularly.
Please DO NOT admit your loved ones at Healthway. They only look at the money not the recovery of the patient.
Later my mother in law was treated at GMC, Bambolim.

Worst hospital! Pathetic way to handle patients case. They did 2 failed surgeries for my dad and charged exuberant fees of more than 7 lakh. Only for us to take him to Metro city and get another surgery done to clear all blunders done by Surgeons in this hospital. Hospital in Metro city cost half of what Healthway charge and give 5 star services with super specialist doctors. The staff of this hospital are pathetic Residential doctors have too much attitude, nurses are giving horrible service, housekeeping expect you to give tips every time. Charges of this hospital are exuberant just to spoil health of patient and give them 3rd class treatment. My recommendation is if you are thinking of Surgery in this hospital please be ready for exploitation of your physical, mental and emotional health and spend money to lose all this.

My wife had a surgery in Healthway and the experience was amazing. The staff is very friendly and caring, the doctors are very experienced and food is awesome. Overall best hospital to get treatment in Goa.

Very bad experience at Pediatric OPD. Was at the OPD for the first time. On the first counter entry was done and we were asked to sit. After 45 minutes when we went to enquire about the status, got a response stating you have not done a entry in the register and we were give the ongoing number. Who is supposed to guide the first time visitors? Full marks to the doctor.

Doctors are good.
But the problem is coordination between insurance company and Billing desk. It took them 8 hours only to understand the inclusions and exclusions of my fathers insurance policy. Nurse were helpless as they didn’t know how to pacify us. I have told them let father go but they were adamant.
Pathetic, really pathetic billing and discharge experience.
Management should really look into the same. Other hospitals like RG and Manipal gives such a seamless and easy services.

Very Expensive Hospital Only One Days My Kids Admit, Only Cough Problem Hospital Charge ₹ 21000

Very happy with the hospital staff and facilities. Everything was managed very well. The nurses, attendants and doctors go out of their way to make patients and their family feel comfortable. The premise is clean, well maintained

Worst experience.nurses are not trained.even to put a band aid on a patient I had to go 5 times and request the nurse upon which she told me she had to consult the doctor for the same.how ridiculous.no first aid given to the patient on arrival.resident doctors dont even visit the patients.and totally naive

The hospital staff is very good and supportive. But diagnosis and consultation charges are very high. Not affordable for the common man. I request hospital management review your existing fees and treatment charges and make them affordable to everyone. Rest all other things in the hospital are good.

Appointment becomes so difficult that one time you think why we came here.the staff does not know when the doctors are coming and when they have left.

My 3rd visit n I realised d staff lacks skills. 24×7 lab services but its just a display. U move towards the phlebotomy dept which I was searching on d boards as laboratory/ haematology dept. But lab is d testing centre n phlebotomy is exclusively fr collection wherein only adults r invited. For pediac patients u gotto run on 1st floor wherein d nurses locks d door n mentions as hospital protocol. When i hear my 7weeks child crying I knock at door n mention let me in atleast I Wil help to calm him n I c his pacifier kept aside. Nevertheless u gotta run back to 2nd floor n giv d collection bulb like a transport lady n den go to pharmacy n pay fr their replacement also. A TFT which is nearly 500 is 610 over including replacements n no online reporting. N over this d collection centre's technician goes missing. Lunch break included no replacement fr her/him then how's it's a 24×7 lab

The worst hospital i have ever seen and been at. They do not even care about the patients. They refuse to do tests and have infoed that labs are 24 hours. There is no proper place to even sit for patients. I don't even understand what do they charge so much for if they don't even have proper facilities. The receptionist is also very rude. Disgusted with the service. Do not recommend this hospital to anyone.

Good hospital but other services like ECG NOT good. I was waited for ecg done more than one hour.

The hospital has good doctors. But the services here are a little expensive. But all the needed medical equipments are available. The nursing staff and doctors are very understanding and helpful. The canteen needs to be open at night or else some tea or coffee vending machine should be kept operative as the family members of the ICU patients can use at nights. Also the place needs to be moskito free. It's horrible at night if you are sitting on the benches at night outside the ICU. The mosquitoes have a good feed. The hospital should ensure that some moskito repellents are put on.
Otherwise it's a good hospital.

The WORST hospital ever! The pediatric ward nurses traumatized my 3 month old baby while drawing blood for his blood test. They did not let me (his mother) inside and locked the door from inside when I asked them why is my baby screaming so hysterically. After 15 mins they opened the door and my baby had fainted, all they told me was to give the blood sample to the lab and reimburse the stuff used from the pharmacy and walked away. The resident doctors were also extremely rude and made faces at us when we questioned them. They traumatized us as first time parents and my 3 month old baby. Will never recommend this hospital to anybody.

Went for health check up officially. Services are excellent. May take time to collect blood samples if there is rush. All staffs are cooperative. Reports are quickly available. All doctors are very professional and experienced. However building maintenance needs improvement.

Dr. Uma Kamat
She is very Friendly in a good way. She gives all advises with a smile which helps you to take it well and even help to ask any question to the doctor.
She helps patient to understand things in layman language even the most complicated terms. It gives you whole info. Why test should happen? What patient needs to do or prepare? What would be the outcome.
She is a good doctor and always provides time when you require. Best and most reasonable doctor in healthway.

Dr. Uma Sham Kamat is one of the rarely found doctors in today’s world and I really appreciate the way she handles concern. She hears out the concern of the patient very well and found her extremely supportive during the consulting sessions. Thank you, Doctor

That gave me strength entire my pregnancy period and felt everything is normal every time i visit the clinic. Thank you for attending our phone calls every time and for the treatment. Finally, big thanks for normal delivery and the encouragement you have shown. This is all needed to be moms from a doctor.

I am a regular visitor at your hospital, because of excellent Doctors and Nursing Staff. But the Major disappoint is the staff at front desk. We need to call 3-4 times before they pick up call, ask them about availability of doctors or services they are clueless. They assure you to call back but they do not, as if who cares. New Patient registration or simple OPD consultation billing takes 15 mins or more, as the operator struggles her way with the computer. With a mediocre staff the whole experience of the hospital is disappointing. Request the Management to please upgrade the quality of service.

Fantastic infrastructure and State of art instruments. Goa needed such a beautiful, spacious and caring hospital. The setup feels like a hotel and the fear factor of hospitals doesn't exist.

Called in twice to get information regarding timings of doc availability in the hospital, but for no help. First tym i was informed to call back after 30 min n d second tym i was connected to 3 different ppl and was disconnected shortly after that. Pathetic Service.

I've never experienced such neglect in any other hospital. The treatment given made me worse than when I was at home. The pain was excruciating and the doctor on on duty in fact told me that I should be wearing a mask if I was coughing so much! And i had a private room! The nurses were arrogant and punctured two of my veins before deigning to get a qualified nurse to find the proper vein for inserting the canula. There was no proper diagnosis and my discharge report wrongly mentioned that I'd had a mastectomy instead of BCS!

Furthermore, no arrangements are there to provide nutritious food for patients who are alone. In fact, the staff and doctors were callous and didn't care. I had no dinner or breakfast despite being given antibiotics. I had finally to force them to discharge me.

Worst hospital ever. It's too expensive. If u people have seen gabbar movie. It's the same scene here.

The approach of the hospital staff is very casual and they seem like they are doing us a favour. I was allotted the room no 201 for my father Mr. Bernabe Vaz. The room has a TV but no cable connection. The room does not have a telephone instrument. The metal false ceiling in the washroom almost fell on the patient. The call bell does not work. When i complained about these issues there was no response. After 30 mins a person comes with an instrument but there is no connection in the room.
This is unacceptable. Before a room is allotted to a patient the room facilities should be checked for proper funtioning. Who is responsible if the the ceiling panels had to fall on the patient? To raise a complain i disovered that even the website does not work. Terrible experience would never recommend anyone with the present attitude and services.
