I believe that this was the first Akshardham. It is a beautiful structure and the large garden is maintained well. Photography is not permitted in the premises and all electronics have to be deposited at the entrance.

Visiting Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar, Gujarat was an awe-inspiring experience! The architecture is breathtaking, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and spiritual grandeur. The serene ambiance and meticulously maintained surroundings create a peaceful atmosphere.

Good option for a weekend. The temple and it's ambience is indeed worth watching. No phones and luggages are allowed inside, they are to be kept in a clock room which is available for the same.

Swaminarayan Akshardham at Gandhinagar is a mandir – a Hindu house of worship, a dwelling place for God, and a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, education and unification. Timeless devotional messages and vibrant Hindu traditions are echoed in its art and architecture. The mandir is a humble tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781- 1830) and the avatars, devas and sages of Hinduism. This traditionally-styled complex was inaugurated on October 30th, 1992 with the blessings of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and through the devoted efforts of skilled artisans and volunteers.

Really fabulous. Mobile phones and other electronics not allowed. The main Temple is three storeys with statue of Lord Swami Narayan in the middle. The basement has the exhibition of the items and the top floor the story of Lord Swami Narayan. There is an additional open air theater which shows the story of Nachiketa. This is done using water sprays and laser lights. It is very good and one of the few in the world.

A great temple has quite a beautiful architecture with intricate examples of craftsmanship in carvings, large beautiful campus comprising amusement park, garden and restaurant and don't forget fountain show.
Main temple has a golden statue of Lord Mahavir also multi storeys providing a glimpse of Lord Mahavir's Journey and for that they even have multiple tableaus on ticket but worth watching.

Take your family, leave old aged in temple enjoy amusement park with youngsters and let children play in garden and lastly
Don't forget to enjoy fountain show in the evening with whole family.

Twenty-four September two thousand, there was a terrorist attack. We spent a few days at the home of our village friends who lived in Gandhinagar. We used to go to Akshardham in the evening. We were in the vicinity of the day of the terrorist attack. It was awful. Much more, We survived amidst gunfire between the terrorists and the army.

One must go there it has beautiful temple loaded with safety and facilities there are rides fountain shows canteen facility sanitation facility and full of positivity and there is special show about life of lord swaminarayan which is really good. I love to go there I visited there at least 7 times.

Dandi Kutir museum traces the life of leader Mahatma Gandhi, who was born in Gujarat. South, along the Sabarmati River, the Indroda Nature Park has a zoo and botanical gardens, plus an adjacent dinosaur and fossil park.

The first wonder if the world, undeniably. The must and probably the most important and worth visiting place in Delhi. All best things here. So perfectly built, and managed. Enormous and worth visiting every time when in city.

Worth visiting. The 5 exhibition are very knowledgeable. Ticket price per person is very nominal. Sat chit anand (light and sound show) starts at 7: 30 (45 Minutes show) which is a bit boring and extended.

Mest swaminarayan temple in gandhinagar. It is very very very huge temple. In temple you get everything. But mobile is bannad in temple. Premvati's bhojan is apso very good. Tgere are many rides in the temple.

Nice temple cum amusement park. Her you can grab a chance to know about Lord Swaminarayan, and you can feel the presence of him at here. Seren atmosphere of this place reduce stress from our body and make calm to our mind. Nice lush green grass and some flower plant enhance the overall beauty of this location. You can try to do God abhishek. One small store at there from where you can buy some framed photo of God, Mala, Kanthi, Wooden temple and idols.

One the best places in Gujarat. Temple is
Big, clean, green and beautiful temple. You must see fountain show if you visit this temple. Fountain show starts at 7: 30 in summer. 100 rs ticket for fountain show but worth it. Its world's only vadik fountain show. There is also an exhibition in temple which can take 2 to 3 hours and that's also amazing. This is a must visit place in Gujarat state.

It's a religious place. This temple is a smaller form of world famous akshardham which is in Delhi. His Holiness PRAMUKHSWAMI MAHARAJ is a pioneer of this temple. It's environment is Clam and beautiful, there is a one water show and bhagwan swaminarayana's lifestyle is also displayed.

Please visit this place before the peak hours of sunlight. Also to be noted - no phones or cameras allowed past the entry gate. They will be kept securely. Fun fact - they WILL take your photos once you enter (at a cost). Past that.it is a beautiful temple that is well worth checking out. You will need to check your shoes before walking up to the temple - the marble is scorching hot so be warned.

This is the first Akshardham before Delhi's one. Under the same trust of BAPS. Water show cost is 100rs make sure to reach before 7.30 pm for appropriate seating in amphitheater. Very beautiful temple and premises. One should not miss the musical fountains. The paintings done on the life of Swaminarayan are beautiful, other things are just repetitions.

Must visit this place. Temple and ambience is awesome. Have to spend 3 hours at least. Food court is available inside. Mobile phones and bags are not allowed at this place. But inside all facilities available. Good to visit in the evening as there are shows at that time.

Nice place to visit.we can't carry camera or mobile with us inside the temple.its structure and work is really pleasing to eyes. But we can take pictures from out side the temple. As a person from south India I really likes the taste of foods here.i tasted baby corn masala and it was really tasty.

Very disappointed because when I reach out there the temple was not open. So you have to confirm first that temple is open or not. But I really want to see this beautiful place in near future.it is 23 km away from Ahmedabad railway station. You will get buses and cabs to reach out there.

Nicely maintained temple.nithing is free inside except entry.water show Rs. 90 for adult worth watching at 7: 30 pm except monday.no camera mobile phone allowed inside temple.all such things will be deposited outside main gate (token system) there was announcement at 6 pn for aarti.but i went for watershow ticket.and food court.there is also a shop having literature, t shirts, artworks, pictures, medicines, all of which were highly priced as per my opinion.there is a photographer inside you can pay and have sone photographs but only at a fixed place.amusement park for children with rides.picture gallery on the first floor of temple and museum below temple.

Temple here have a very good views and made from red marble. And have some aciant indian frames in the architectuur. And it also have exhibition for swaminarayan bhagvan's life. It is costly but you have to watch it once. Security here is very tight due to terrorist attack. And mobile phones not allowed inside it.

To start with its a religious place with museum n rides for children's and adults in addition. Area it covers is huge. So u take a lot of time to cover it completely. No mobiles and ladies hand bags are allowed inside. U have counters where u have to deposit them. Only depositors will be able to collect the items back so don't send anyone else to collect them on ur behalf with tokens. Parking is available on pay basis. 6 hrs parking for 2 wheelers costs 10. After that charges gets doubled. Best time to visit will be around 1 pm or 3 pm in afternoon so that u can see temple in a better way. Then head straight to museum which will take around 3 hrs to complete. U will also be shown a movie inside it about Lord Swaminarayan and his life. A good one to watch. Hats off to its makers. After that in the evening u can head straight to Light n water show which is a must watch. It starts at 7 30 pm in evening and is for around 45 mins. Charges for museum is 60 for adults n children's below 11 yrs are charged 40 rs. For light n water show ticket costs are 90 rs. After that u can enjoy good food over there as well. Khichdi a must try. While watching light n water show u can have pop corn which costs 40 rs. Over all one day trip with family in a religious place and some other activities is a good option.

Excellent theme park styled religious place that is well maintained. Can get crowded on holidays with big queues to clear the security check. One can visit the main temple to admire the architectural beauty or one can stay back and purchase the tickets for all the shows (there are four shows in all, including the water/sound and light show at 7: 00 pm) and one can purchase tickets for all or none (cannot buy selectively), unless one visits late and purchases the tickets for the sound show alone. Best thing to do would be to reach the place by 2: 00 pm latest and budget the rest of the day to be spent here. The place is easily reached by the Delhi metro on the blue line, getting off at the Akshardham temple. Food is priced reasonably in the place. One can carry just a wallet alone when entering the place

Awesome place who needs silence. Structure of temple is too good. Mobile phones or any electronic device is not allowed in temple due to terrorist attack. Water show in this temple is incredible. Great combination of water and light is designed on the story of yamraj and a child. Overall superb place to visit.

Amazing place. In this world, there is a woman that:
If I played truant and neglected my study, she would chew me out and punish me strictly, but her heart still has enough tolerance and love to forgive all my faults. If I and my brother had a row, she would tell us off, but her arms are still large enough to embrace us tight.
That is my mother- the woman I admire most in this world!

My mother is always busy, who often goes to work when the Sun is sleeping with a blanket of clouds, only backs home when the Moon and stars are playing hide-and-seek in the pitch dark sky and grass is covered with night dew. Despite being tired, smiles're always on her face whenever she sees me. And only when she smiles do I realise the divine beauty hidden in her eyes, which are aglow with pleasure, happiness and as bright as sunshine:)

Both sun and water give us a life, I love not only her eyes (sunshine) but also her hair (water). Her hair looks like a beautiful cascade which originates from Lang Biang mountain, it's so silky that every once in a while, I'm afraid it will flow away like water: >
My Mom often sits on the step of the house combing her hair, she combs and combs it as if she was tracing some special happiness somewhere: " You will be a grown up person when my hair turns white", she said to me. I sit silently beside her and my eyes mist with tears.

Her hands are so strong and protective when carrying a baby, skillful when kniting woolen scarf, delicate when wiping away tears on my face. Dad's hands can never be the same.

There's a simile that a woman's moral beauty is like a night rain, you are not able to tell it's raining unless you listen to the pitter-patter on the roof, and you can't feel my mom's virtue and dignity unless you see her behaviour and life-style and listen to.her voice: P
My mother is an erudite woman who often has optimistic outlooks on every problem. She encourages me to pursue and actualise my dreams, let me do what I'm passionate about.although, sometimes, she get a little disappointed with my decision and worried about my illogical ideas, as she promised, I need to stand on my own feet, sooner or later, my mom can't take me under her wing any more, I will fly with my own wings.

My mother is a great woman who sacrifices all her life for us, yet sometimes, I let her down, I bought an exorbitant lipstick and treated myself to ridiculously expensive cake and ice-cream whereas my mom was saving up little by little money to pay for water and electric bills. I hang out when my mom is working hard to bring me up. She doesn't blame me, but I feel guilty of my bad behaviour. I remind myself to change and obey her. "An unruly child is always a sadness for a mother"

Despite knowing that no word can describe my mom's sacrifice and my admiration for her, I still write something: My mom is like a giant tree shadowing every corner of my life, like a fire heating my soul, like a wind blowing all sadness, like a pure stream flowing straight to my heart:) Although once in a blue moon, I cold- shoulder my mom, refuse her care and " Why do you take care of me too much? ", she still love mes, protects me from sorrows and pain in my life, she always stand by me, pray for my happiness, dispel despair and fear. How much I respect her! I will sing the song " The enternal mother" for my mom forever.

Therefore, if anyone who still own your mother an apology, say sorry to her, you don't need to say you love her, not necessary to kiss or embrace her, just never let her down and obey her so that she's always happy.

Parking area available so no need to worry about vehicle. The temple is a very beautiful creation. We don't have permission to carry mobile phones inside. Huge idol of Bhagwan Swaminarayan can be seen from steps at entrance. Carvings and various statues attract the veiwers eyes. In temple, there is attractive arrangement of paintings that shows life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. Then The things that were owned by Bhagwan Swaminarayan are exhibited. The temple is very nicely maintained. After visiting temple there is souvenir shop. At evening there is a unique and mesmerizing water- light show, and nice garden. Food stalls are also there with nice food quality.

Best plca i have ever seen but the most disadvantages is that inside the temple we. Can not take oue mobile with us it was submitted outside only and about 5 to 6 hour needs for whole temple bt u must visite at night because the water show is availabe which start at 7: 30 pm
