BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

A very very beautiful temple by BAPS. It has such beautiful domes and the walls with carvings and rich textures, which is simply mesmerizing. The golden lights give the temple a serene and mystic touch during night time. The temple has a big lawn, shop and parking area. You can also book a room for staying at this property.

Nice temple. Pious, serene. Garden is fantabulous. Stone carving is amazing. Sufficient space. Sufficient parking area. No fees or ticket. You can give donations. No Prasad or offering. Most visiting place in Jamnagar.

Very beautiful architecture and neat maintenance. Very big temple. Near Jamnagar railway station. Great view and maintenance is very good. The staff is keeping the place very neat and clean. They have enough parking space. There is an amazing sitting area and the lawn is eye pleasing. One who loves plants and flowers, should definitely go here.

The temple is a remarkable structure of architectural brilliance. The temple also has two separate shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva-Parvati and Lord Rama-Sita. It has a small museum at the bottom of the main temple. It also has a vast well maintained garden and a cafeteria that serves delicious veg snacks.

This is nice temple. Campus was well maintained and big. Temple was beautiful. Idol of lord swaminarayan was very attractive.

It's very beautifully crafted and kept very clean. Clean water to drink. It was a very hot day when I visited, but I got to attend the Aarti. So it was all worth it.
Very peaceful. Not crowded at all when I went. It's a place of worship and should be kept like that, and not turn it into a tourist place. It also has a huge parking space.

Beautiful temple. Everything here is vry nice. People here are also nice. It has a food zone called PREMVATI behind it. The prasad here is vry sweet and awesome. The book store is also nice, you can get different incense sticks, books, malas, t-shirt and much more. Overall this place is just AWESOME.

Wonderful temple with exquisite carving. Very beautiful and serene place. People and specially saints over there are very literate and helping. Excellent food is also served here. This temple is very close to Dwarka highway. A must visit for everyone at least once to taste spiritual atmosphere.

Incredibly carved. Pious & Peaceful Place. There is feel of Oneness because you can see all Hindu Saints Bhakts Acharya sculptures in the pradkshina of wonderful Mandir.

Etables are not available so don't take it as a picnic spot.best time to go around sunset and 60 minutes are enough to spend here.

The Akshar Deri is a major site of pilgrimage in Swaminarayan Hinduism and is located in the rang mandap of the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Gondal, India. The structure marks the cremation site and serves as a memorial to Gunatitanand Swami. An event was held to commemorate 150 years of the structure in Gondal, the structure as well as the site was renovated to bring it to modern standards.
